30. Drunken

All four of us arrived at the bluffs. They were outside the city. It was a small, wooded area. The foliage was not nearly as dense as it was in the pack lands of Grey Crest. I also noticed there were not just high schoolers here but people who looked to be in their twenties. Juliet said to Lilith “Seems some of the college is here, this is going to be interesting. How many do you think will try to get with some of them?” Lilith looked at her friend. “My guess is 22.” Juliet pinched her lips thinking. “I say 15,” They then turned to us. “What are your guesses?” Lilith asked.

I didn’t understand what was happening. Noel answered. “5” Then they all were looking at me. “Why are we guessing this?” Juliet and Lilith laughed, and Juliet answered. “Eric, we like to play these games. Lilith and I usually just watch the party unfold. I mean we dance some, and drink but mostly we come to people watch. We told Noel these things get out of control and honestly it is freaking hilarious.” Lilith was smiling. “Fine, 12” Both Lilith and Juliet nodded.

The girls led my brother and I to where there were several Kegs and a table with a crap ton of liquor bottles. There was nothing to drink but alcohol. Lilith poured some whisky into her red cup. Juliet got some vodka. I had no problem with minors drinking. In the pack we had no age restriction. It took a lot for full blooded shifters to get intoxicated. I wondered if that would be the same for Lilith as she was only half. Noel got us both beer from the Keg. “Cheers” Lilith said. All of us pushed our plastic cups together.

Noel spit out the beer. “This tastes like shit.” Lilith and Juliet were laughing. “Yeah, the beer is cheap that is why we drink the liquor.” I nearly chocked on the beer. Noel and I dumped the beer and switched to whisky. That too was not the best. It was a cheap bottle, but it was far better than the beer. We were all walking around. Lilith apparently had to say hi to Polly. Which Juliet told us was a queen bee.

Finally, we had found her. I could tell she was already tipsy, and she was hanging all over the guy I had seen at the fight the night I met Lilith. Lilith if on cue to knowing I would be angry seeing him grabbed my hand and leaned into me trying to use our mate bond to calm me down. His vacant expression told me he had no idea who I was. “You came!” The tipsy girl through her arms around my mate pulling her from me. Lilith let her hug her. Juliet leaned into me. “That is Polly.” I figured that.

The girl finally let Lilith go, then looked at me. I could tell she was trying to not be loud but she was “Who is that guy? He is freaking hot.” Lilith teeth clenched. I was wondering when this side of her would show. I knew mates tended to be extremely jealous, but Lilith had shown no signs of that. Unlike me who hated any male attention she received. Again, I assumed she did not have that sense of jealousy for only being half shifter, but now it was rearing its face. “This my boyfriend.” Lilith practically growled. Noel nudged me so I looked at him. He had a goofy smile on his face and was nodding.

Glad this was amusing to my little brother. “He is so freaking hot!” Polly said again, and I swore, Lilith’s eye was twitching. I knew Kali had to be pressuring her in that moment to lash out. I pulled Lilith closer to me. Bringing my face down to her neck and sniffing her. My hands wrapping around her waist. As she tried to calm me, I was trying to do the same. She let out a sigh. “Yeah, just wanted to say hi. We will maybe see you later.” Polly wanted to say something, but Lilith practically ran away with me until she was far enough away from her cheer captain. We were further away from the crowd of people and Lilith was breathing hard. I cupped her face and had my fingers stroking her cheeks.

We were alone. She had pulled us away, abandoning Noel and Juliet. She began to calm down, which was good. We found our way back to the drinks where she began chugging cup after cup of whisky. I watched as soon after she had several cups full the whisky was kicking in. She smiled at me. “We should find Juliet. I want to dance.” Yeah, she was beginning to feel the effects. That was good to know that she had a lower tolerance than other shifters. We moved through the crowd Until we located Juliet and Noel.

They were already dancing, Lilith giggled as she sided up to her best friend. Throwing her arms around her. Juliet looked at me, her eyes were large. “You let her drink a lot?” I nodded. I didn’t think that was a problem. “Is that wrong?” Juliet laughed loudly. “No, Lilith is freaking funny when she is wasted, this night just got way more interesting.” She laughed again. Lilith turned to me and began to dancing some erotic way that I didn’t know was in her repertoire. The bonfire that had started was huge. Music had been booming and Lilith was moving against me and me with the rhythm. Her hands were roaming over me.

Someone shouted, “anyone up for keg stands?” Lilith shot her hand up and Juliet nudged my brother. “It is about to go down. Lilith is beast when it comes to holding alcohol, you should see her play beer pong.” We all followed her and watched as she did her keg stand everyone cheered. As the night progressed the more intoxicated Lilith became and Juliet as well. Noel and I were not even close. Noel said while looking at the girls who had sat down criss cross in the dirt and were laughing at everything they watched.

“What the hell? These people are nuts. Lilith and Juliet are nuts. It is like we are the only sane ones here.” Just then Lilith fell over and was now hysterically laughing on her back. Juliet was laughing harder. The two of them turned to us. Between their laughs Lilith managed to say. “Look at that girl and guy.” and pointed. There was this girl and guy, both had their hands down each other's pants.

Juliet cackled and so did Lilith. Noel was openly staring at the couple. While the girls were howling. Then Lilith eyes fell on Polly who was straight up stumbling around the fire. I wondered what my mate would do, was she still angry? Lilith stood and she too wobbled as she approached the girl. Noel looked at me wondering what we should do. I started to move after my mate. “Stay with Juliet.” I didn’t want to have Juliet also possibly getting into whatever situation arises. Especially if it is a bad one.

“Polly, my girl.” Lilith said. Polly looked at her. “I think we should try a lift; I mean the crowd would love it.” What the hell was Lilith talking about? She seriously was not going to cheer here on the bluffs. While both were intoxicated. “You would be a great flyer. Come on, let’s try it. I bet everyone will love it.” Polly was more drunk than Lilith, that was obvious as she was swaying just standing there. I interjected. “Lilith that is not a good idea.” She shook her head saying “Nonsense. Come on Polly let's give them something to look at.” She looked around then.

Lilith went on. “Let’s call the rest of the girls they can all help. You can be on top for once. I know you wanted to try at practice this week. I will take your spot on the bottom.” Polly’s eyes lit up and she started calling loudly to the other cheerleaders. This was going to end badly. Which might have been my mate's idea all along. The other cheerleaders came running. Some were stumbling. Lilith leaned into me. “Everyone this is my smoking hot boyfriend. His name is Eric.” She then grabbed my face and kissed me in front of everyone. I let her show me off.

She was making a point. When she pulled away, she announced. “He has the biggest cock ever and we fuck a lot. We did even before we came here.” Some of the people around cheered and the girls were giggling. Yeah, she was asserting our relationship, that was obvious. I doubted she would have done it like this if she was sober “He is so damn good in bed. I am the luckiest among us.” One of the cheerleaders looked like they were drooling.

Polly then spoke. “We are going to do the pyramid. I am going to be on top this time.” They looked confused but their drunk state gave them unfathomable confidence. People had begun to gather around. The girls all managed to get in position and by a miracle Polly had managed to be on the top without falling. But I saw Lilith, she was smiling. I knew she had a plan. “Let's toss her.” One of the girls cried. “Yes, I can do it.” Polly looked much to happy saying that. Lilith looked deviant at that moment.

The girls moved again and to toss Polly. “I am not a thrower I think it best to have the others who know what they are doing toss you. They know how to catch you safety.” Lilith said. They all agreed and Polly, who wanted a lot of attention, I assumed, was more than happy to try it. The whole of the party had gathered around. The girls tossed her next thing I knew as she was coming down, she threw up and it fell all over herself and the girls who caught her. Everyone began to laugh. Lilith was in hysterics with the other cheerleaders who had watched as was everyone else had.

Polly began to cry and ran off. Lilith sided up next to me. “That was great.” She slurred and laughed. We found Juliet who was in tears from laughing so hard. The girls counited on and on laughing and people watching. I had no idea things would go like this and Noel too was in utter bewilderment of some of the things that went on.
