“When we go to our Pack, you can’t steal from them.” I said. Things didn’t seem to click for Lilith, so I tried to explain “I am an alpha and now we are mated that makes you the luna of our pack.” She stared at me and said, “Eric I don’t know what the hell you are talking about.” Had Rob not told her about packs. “Do you not know what a pack is?” She sat there. “Is it like what Rob established?” I shook my head. Lilith shoved away from the table. “I am not stopping going to school. I have to graduate, I need to get my fathers documents he left me and if I don’t graduate then I won’t get them.” I looked at her. “There is a school at the pack you can go there.” She shook her head and said “I don’t want to. I have my friend where I go now and I am on several teams and I am not going to stop going.” I sighed sliding my hand over my face. If anything, my mate was stubborn. I thought for a while. “How about a compromise?” She looked at me. “You will come live in our pack, and you can continue to go to the school you attended. It will be an hour drive roughly every day and you will have to be accompanied to school, but you can continue where you go.”

“Fine, it is not like I living with Missy and Jim, anyway.” I raised one of my brows. “Missy and Jim?” “My mother and step father.” I nodded realizing she held no love for her family. But I had to wonder why she didn’t move out when she turned 18. If that was the case? “Lilith if you hate it why didn’t you move out?” “I didn’t really have anywhere else to go. I already pay for everything, and I didn’t see the point. It was just until the end of the school year. I figured after that I would get a new place. Rob said I could have moved in with him, but he fosters kids, and I didn’t like the idea of having to relive my time in foster care.” I looked at her seriously.

I wondered if that is how he was getting these young wolves. Did he take them in and if they turned out to be shifters he would mentor them.
