Percy, Tate, and Marcus got out of the truck they arrived in. They were looking around. Eric and I approached. Marcus gave me a head nod. “What up playa?” He said and I snorted. “Nothing much just chilling.” I said and Eric looked at me like I was so strange, and I shrugged. Tate said. “This is a lot of woods, how is it running your wolf here, I have never ran in the woods?” I quickly answered “Fucking amazing, no one is out here you can just run.” The three of them looked excited.

Eric then spoke. “Lilith and I want to give you a tour.” They nodded and I smiled. I walked with Eric but Marcus came to walk next to me. “You look happy.” I looked at him. “I am.” He chuckled and said “I don’t think I have ever seen you so at ease and even last time at the garage you seemed a little tense. Oh did you hear the place burnt to the ground.” I tried not to grin. Of course I knew I had been the cause of that. I didn’t respond at first and then said as we walked “I am sorry you don’t have a job anymore.” He shook his shoulders. “I am not. Bjor could be a fucking dick. And when he propositioned you I decided I was going to quit. I will not associate with kind of asshole. Anyways I am not like you, I don’t strive to be a criminal.” Eric mind linked me.

“You were propositioned, why did I not know that?” I mind linked him. “I handled it. That fire, that Marcus mentioned, yeah that was me.” He turned to see me having a smug smile. “Bad bad girl” He mind linked and I responded. “Does this mean I get a spanking since I am so naughty.” Eric chuckled and then tried to keep a straight face, as he pointed things out to the guys and told them about the pack. “What was that building you had us pull up at?” Percy asked. I was the one to answer. “The packhouse aka my home, but there is Eric’s and Noel’s office there too.” Though I knew Noel hadn’t used his office since I came here. All three of the guys stopped walking and Eric followed suit as they looked at me.

“What is the fucking problem?” I asked and Tate said “You live in a fucking mansion.” I rolled my eyes. “Yes, well I am mated to a hot alpha who is in charge of a pack and that is where he lives so I live there too, you asshole.” Marcus busted out laughing and commented. “Can take the ghetto away and put her in a palace but she will always be the same.” I glared at him. “Oh so I am just some bitch right.” Tate started laughing and slapped my shoulder and walked on turning toward me. “One hell of a mean ass bitch, and you know it.” I laughed and I think Eric was confused, I shrugged and mind linked. “Ghetto for I am awesome.” He looked still weirded out but nodded.

“Okay this place is dope.” Tate said and Percy asked. “Where are the chicks. I was promised I would meet female shifters.” I rolled my eyes. “Calm down you horn dog, they will be at the BBQ, we are showing you around. And don’t get your hopes up they probably won’t like your ugly mug anyway.” Marcus was choking on his laughter and Tate was saying “Burn” Assholes, I called them in my head. But it was nice to have real people here. They didn’t bat an eye at my clothes or the way I talked, and I understood their language.

Percy said out loud “No wonder Rob has been pissy lately he knows you won’t leave this. I mean I know he hasn’t been here but knowing you, Lilith, you told him all about it.” I turned so fast grabbing his shirt and getting in face. “Don’t you ever bring that shit bag up to me again. He is dead to me.” Percy nodded and I released him. They all stood there shocked at what I did. “You finally figured it out so what did he who should not be named do that finally pushed you to see the truth?” I stood there. Marcus who had known me the longest looked at me. “This was about Bowie coming back wasn’t it?” I smacked him across the face. “Don’t bring him up either.” He rubbed his cheek. But he nodded.

I walked on and Marcus ran to catch up. “Sorry, I know you know, about” I stopped and looked at him. “Marcus if you know then you know, we don’t need to discuss it okay.” I paused and then said. “Sorry for smacking you.” I looked away. He shook his head and smiled. “I’ll be God dammed an apology from Lilith fucking queen of the ring.” I raised my brows. “You know I don’t fucking care about being slapped, I fight all the time, I would have been more upset if you punched me. That shit hurts.” I smiled and kept walking. Eric mind linked me. “You good?” I told him yeah. We finally came to the lake where everyone was. Suddenly Marcus started sniffing the air as did Tate and Percy. I knew what was happening.

“Find them you idiots.” I said to them. Eric pulled me to him. “Well, this is an interesting turn of events. Glad someone explained the mating to them.” I nodded and said “Guess they are joining the pack after all.” He looked at me. “What they aren’t going to leave their mates and this place is a hell of lot better than the city.” He smile and nodded. I walked in the direction Marcus had gone wanting to see who his mate was first. Then my smile grew. Roxie was staring at Marcus in awe. “Holly shit, their babies are for sure going to be redheads.” I said to Eric. Both Marcus and Roxie had red hair, different hues but red all the same. He chuckled.

I was happy to see Roxie had worn some of her new clothes and I was happier that she was mated to Marcus. This was fucking awesome. I knew they would join the pack; they would of course help me debauch this place up and also whip them all into shape. They weren’t me of course when it came to fighting but they were a hell of lot better than this lot. I watched as Marcus moved from staring at Roxie to striding up grabbing the back of her neck and locking his mouth on her’s I grabbed hold of Eric’s arm smiling as big as my face would allow. “Let’s go I want to see who Percy and Tate are mated to.” I said to Eric, and he nodded.

Finally, I found Percy he was practically trying to fornicate with his mate. I didn’t know who she was, I had seen her at training, and knew she was one of the weakest. This was good, Percy would only make her better. He was a good fighter and was strong. I smiled and walked on. Tate got mated to Mia and I began laughing as she was trying to pull him away from the crowd. Of course, her priority was at stake. Eric was laughing to and Noel walked up and he too began laughing as he watched as Mia was trying to pull Tate from the crowd. Whereas he was just trying to touch her.

This was extremely amusing. Noel said, “At least she will get off your case Eric” I laughed again and agreed with him. “This is going to hilarious because Tate has no filter and speaks before he thinks. Mia will get off her high horse real quick.” Gradually the three of us stopped laughing. Noel spoke. “My sister just here and I don’t know what you did to her, but she is acting like a normal freaking person. She even looks different.” I turned to him smiling. “I don’t know why you guys were so nervous her coming to visit. I like her.” Noel and Eric just stared at me like I had gone insane. “Oh and Noel I have not seen you all day, I wanted to know about you and Juliet she has yet to fill me in on everything.”

Noel blushed. “What?” I asked. “Please don’t get details of my sex life, I don’t need that. I raised my eyebrow. “So, you get to see me and your brother all the time fucking and I can't even ask my friend about the sex?” I looked at him quizzically. “Why do you want to hear about it?” I snorted. “I don’t really care. But if Juliet wants to talk about it obviously I am going to listen, but your right, I don’t need details about your small dick.” I patted him on the shoulder and then walked off. I could hear Eric’s booming laughter as I strode away in search of Ellen.

Not that I knew what Noel looked like under his clothes, I was just in a friendly sort of mood, and that is how I joked. I hopped Noel didn’t take it too personally. I found Ellen and she was wearing tight jeans that showed off her curves and a sleeveless blouse with cute slip in sneakers. I was shocked she looked good. Yep, I should for sure consider being a personal stylist. “Hey you look great.” I said giving her a friendly shove. She leaned in and whispered. “I feel weird people are looking at me.” I smiled. “They are looking at you, because you look hot. And by the way, who cares let them look.” She gave me a smile. “I had a good time yesterday. It has been a long time since I had that much fun.” I nodded. “It was fun wasn’t it.”

She nodded. “We should find the speakers and get this party started.” Ellen agreed. “Eric, can I borrow your phone?” I mind linked my mate. “Yeah, I just got to find you.” He spoke. “Meet me by the speakers.” I waited only a minute, and he appeared by my side with a sulking Noel. I smiled, “I was just kidding Noel, I know nothing of your junk.” He nodded and gave me a slight smile. As I took Eric’s phone I turned from Noel and added to my previous comment. “Not yet anyway.” Eric snorted and Ellen looked confused. I signed into my amazon music account and grabbed the cord that hooked up to the speaker. Time for some good music and food. I turned the speaker all the way up, it was massive, and I hoped it filled the outdoor space. Noel looked at me. “Good taste.” He said to the playlist I had started. It was a little of everything.
