Chapter 102

String lights were hung from the ceilings and then there were also weave lights through the trees and branches outside.
There were candles on top of the table. The neon signage where their names were written.
It was simple and yet elegant reception. The couple chose baby"s breathe as the flower for the decoration. It was just simple and yet the love of the two people could be felt in the atmosphere.
The place felt so pure and showed an everlasting love for Harmony and Drake.
Harmony was standing at the entrance and the song started to play.
She started to walk her way to the aisle with her mother. She tried to hold back her tears as she didn"t want her make-up to be mess up.
She was looking to the handsome man in suite who was waiting for her at the front. He was standing there and he was smiling at her as he watched her walked down the aisle.
She was wearing a gown that was made by one of the most popular couture in the country. She looked so beautiful in her bareback gown with lace sleeves. It had a very long trail which made her so elegant and then there were stones in the front of the wedding dress.
She was holding a bouquet of baby"s breath in her hands. She chose those flowers because they looked so pure and innocent just like her love for Drake.
Harmony never thought that she would be marrying someone like Drake. She never thought that she would have this kind of wedding. It was so far from what she was inside her mind.
Everyone was smiling and she could see them as they wiped their tears.
It was a dream come true. Who would thought that their contract relationship would end up in a real marriage? She and Drake were unable to fight back the feelings they have for each other. No matter how she denied it, Harmony knew that she had already fallen to Drake and that started when they watched the fireflies during their first date. It was something that she wouldn"t forget in her entire life. It was so magical and she was thankful to Drake because she experienced to witness that beautiful natural phenomena. And, here she was walking down the aisle.
She felt like she was in a dream. She wanted to pinch herself.
Harmony felt like she was inside a fairy tale story and it was already about to end. Of course, ending with a happy ending. She ended up marrying her prince charming. Her handsome prince charming who at first was rude and she hated because of being conceited.
She couldn"t help but smile at the same time fight the tears that wanted to come out from her eyes.
Until now she couldn"t believe that this was happening.
"Don"t cry so much, dear. Your make up will be ruined," her mother said. Her father was still in bed as he was still trying to recover from the heart attack he had.
"Thank you, mom. I don"t know what to say because even if we have a problem with Dad, you still allowed me to get married," she said.
"Don"t think about that. I know that if your dad could speak, he will also say that to you," she said.
Finally, they were already closed to Drake. He was smiling at her but she could see when the man wiped the tears that came out from his eyes.
She could see so much love and happiness in his face.
"Drake, please take care of my daughter. I trust you so much," Miss Catalina said and then Drake kissed her in the cheeks after that he shifted his gaze to his bride.
"You are so beautiful," he uttered.
"And you looked so handsome," Harmony said while smiling. She wanted to cry but she didn"t want to. Her make-up would be a mess and she might look ugly in her photos.
They both in front of the wedding officiant.
The wedding ceremony began. Drake and Harmony said their vows to each other.
"When I met you, I realized that the beginning is not always what"s important but how you end up. I can relate so much to this. And love moves in mysterious ways because it brought me to you. A person that I never thought that I will love and will change everything that I believe in life. You are the only woman who made me realize that love is real. Love do exist and it is just up to the man and woman how to keep it because it is more than just a feeling. I love you so much, Harmony. I will do everything to protect and take care of you," he said while looking at her. "I know that I may not be able to express what I am feeling but always remember that I am here for you and I will always love you. I am so excited to build a family with you and even grow old with you."
Harmony was smiling at Drake and she couldn"t help the tears that came out from her eyes. She gently wiped it.
"Drake, I know that we met in a situation that no one could imagine it ever happened. We have a different kind of love story and I love it. Fate made it"s way for our paths to cross and I couldn"t wish it to be better. I know deep inside my heart that you are the one for me and I am the one for you no matter what other people say. I love you so much. If there"s a phrase greater than that then it will be for you," Harmony said as she was looking at Drake full of love and happiness.
It didn"t take a long time and they were both declared husband and wife by the wedding officiant.
"And now, you may kiss the bride!"
The loud shout and clap was heard in the place.
