Chapter 150: Everything you need to know about me 2
Flynn's POV
"Keep to your agreement" the first man yelled at my brother who suddenly bursted into tears.
I could tell he was keeping it in but couldn't control it. Furthermore, I shoved my face to these men who were drawing closer to me.
My feet couldn't move because I was stucked to where I was.
"What's going on?" I tried to question but the second man suddenly covered my face with a sack bag.
I instantly gurgled, screamed my brother's name loud telling him not to leave me but no one came to my rescue. Rather, they dragged me inside of like an inanimate object.
These men didn't even let me say my goodbyes to my brother. That night turns out to be a nightmare which taunt me.
Despite my protest and panicking, no one was helping out. I was perplexed and devastated.
A lot of things rang inside my head and they were all centered on why my brother brought me here.
Tears filled my eyes and I tried to be strong, though, I was going breathless due to lack of oxygen.
The few memories I could remember was that I was brought to a room like a factory and the sack used on me was pulled off my head.
I inhaled and coughed deeply still in tears and nervous. What my eyes behold gave me goosebumps.
I could see children my age or bigger than I was heading to movable large box convey by a gadget and these kids were suddenly vanishing.
My heart race that it felt I would pass out by what I saw. Locomotive devices were moving around and making some squealing sounds.
Controllers were everywhere and adults in mask were busy with touchscreen interfaces which displayed the human system.
I really didn't put much attention to the activity here but I could tell this was another world on its own, more like a secret headquarter of something.
My hands were tied and so this men were pulling me along with them.
My eyes explored the place and I could see adults dressed in lab coats and whispering amongst themselves.
I just didn't know how to describe this place but it was filled with technological equipments.
I tried not to be amazed by the surrounding because something was awkward and I could sense this wasn't good.
Most of the people here had face mask on and so their identity wasn't noticable.
I had thought they would leave me amongst my peers but I was made to go a different direction from them.
Those dreaded men led me to a CT which was a computerized tomography scanner.
I got to learn this from medical books because it had been my dreams to be a doctor.
Typically a large, donut-shaped machine with a short tunnel in the center. I was made to lie on a narrow table that slides in and out of this short tunnel.
Rotating around me, the x-ray tube and electronic x-ray detectors were located opposite each other in a ring, called a gantry.
My eyes were dazzled when I was pulled out. Everything was happening without my will and I could neither protest despite my pleading to these men to let me go.
However, I could perceive they had no heart.
An helmet consisting of magnets that exert energy 20 small sensors called electrodes will be attached using a special glue or paste.
Connected by wires was worn on my head and I felt shock lingering around my body that it made me had thought that I was being electrocuted.
My eyes were suddenly blindfolded and I was made to wear a patient robe. I gave an attempt to break out of their hold but it was futile and so giving up was the only option I had.
I rolled my eyes to and fro panting heavily and whimpering because I was petrified.
My ears tingled at the rattling sound of machine as I could hear whispers.
It wasn't just the two men but I could sense there were many who had surrounded me.
My ears tried to detect what they were saying and I could hear a feminine voice saying;
"This is the last experiment...we can't give up now"
"It's dangerous professor Nate..." Another voice chipped into her words and there was silence for a moment.
That silence was deadly. My sense of hearing was becoming lame and I couldn't feel anything either.
I think because my mind was void of thoughts but all I could feel was total darkness and injections being stucked on my skins like though they were performing some acupuncture on me.
My world had began to crumble and there was no one to rescue me and so I let fate decide what would happen to me.
It didn't take seconds when I suddenly felt like my head was blazing on fire that I couldn't stand the pains but scream.
My body was viberating vigorously that I couldn't control myself.
The rattling sounds of engine was becoming loud and my sense of hearing was now the active organ in my body.
It got to my notice that I wasn't the only one screaming but also other voices were chipping in.
The voice that got my attention was that of an old lady whose name wouldn't leave my head in a memory and vowed to end her.
Nate! That was her name along with other names which the team called.
"We are all gonna die!" Her voice screeched and I could feel danger lurking in. Instantly, when she made that declaration, I heard a loud blast.
I shuddered where I sat but then amaris voice came in as she threw her gaze and whispered.
"Are you alright Flynn?"
No I wasn't and I couldn't even breath properly having to notice that they've come after me.
Perhaps, it was my mistake for returning here but I really missed amaris and I just want to be with her.
Couldn't that wish be granted too?
