Chapter 165: Unimaginable
Mia's POV
I stood outside, shock and unable to move. Literally, my brain was frozen for a while and I had no idea of where I was.
Not until the bells rang and I turned around, intending to find the ghost but then only customers were chatting and coming out.
It's an illusion? No I wasn't freaking out, I saw Caleb. I mean the guy who served him referred to him as boss or something.
He vanished out of sight and I ran outside to see clearly if I wasn't mistaken.
I had even tried touching him to be cleared of my doubt if that server haven't obstructed my view and then apologized for the mess.
Caleb had suddenly told me that my mistake was on the cafe which certainly means I wouldn't be paying for that.
He has even ordered the brewer to get another for me which he did. His voice, his eyes, everything points out that he was Caleb.
Except that arrogant part of him that I was yet to know if he was the one.
What am I saying? I mean Caleb was buried and so did he resurrect or what?
I cringed out, as goosebumps help. I couldn't even spill out a word because of fear.
A Lamborghini pulled over to pick him up. I rubbed my forehead, grit my teeth and sigh.
Caleb is alive!
He rode away and I was still staring at that spot, my arms spread side by side as my mouth was still widely opened.
I shook my head and began to race back to the suite. This was big news. I just don't know how they'd react to it but I have to say it.
But then, I stopped running once I was at the gate of the suite. A sudden thought runs through my mind.
Won't this revelation ruin the relationship Flynn is trying to build with amaris? What if amaris still loves Caleb and wants him back.
"Oh God" i wailed closing my eyes and exhaling softly. I was trembling where I stood.
Caleb and amaris mustn't meet or it was leave her jeopardy. Well, my mouth has to be sealed for their good.
Speaking of which, Caleb acted as though he doesn't know me! He must be putting on an act just because I caught him.
I scanned around trying to peep if he wasn't following me just to get to amaris.
I was freaking out and I just wanted us to leave this place quickly, for my son.
That way, we don't get to see Caleb. Amaris and Flynn would thank me later!
I lowered my eyes at the package bag in my hand. I should dump it. If this espresso is nice, amaris wouldn't mind visiting the cafe.
I tiptoed towards the trash bin, close my eyes and intended to dump it when I heard her voice.
"Hey, Mia" she called and I threw her face at her. Oh my girl is in his clothes, how nice.
Her face was sullen from his kisses and she looked overwhelmed, her eyes doesn't seem as though she had come off her esctasy yet.
I faked a smile and moved away from the trash can, I shouldn't waste a gift.
"Hey bitch, I was planning on spilling this on you guys" i said pacing towards her as she chuckles and then inhaled.
"Coffee, early morning brew" she sang and I snickered at her but my excitement faded after recalling who I encountered.
She took the package from me and read the inscription which was the name of the cafe.
Shit.
Amaris let out an upside down smile and turn to her heels.
"Gosh I have a lot to say Mia" she began striding towards the house while my eyes searches around, still frightened not to be followed.
Maybe I should tell Flynn but why? I mean he'd be excited to see his cousin right and would want to unite with him.
But would he be willing to leave amaris for her. I mean Caleb would certainly want amaris at all cost.
Oh please I don't want to be caught up in a love triangle and watch how undecided amaris would be.
"Okay?" I said, quite curious as I presumed Flynn wasn't around.
She swirl around, chuckling like kid.
"He is the one!" She excited said while I forced myself to laugh which was obviously frantic.
Oh yes, I see it in her eyes, she was falling in love and I wish her well.
"Wow, that good news" i replied folding my lips as I exhaled gently.
"Mia, I just...when he touches me, there's just this spark"
Stop amaris, argh, you can't feed me with sex stories this morning. Perhaps, I'd do that with Aiden when she comes visit.
I rolled my eyes walking ahead of her to the sitting room. She stomped after me and I could hear the slurry sound she was making from drinking the coffee.
"Not bad, I might visit this place later" she suggested in a rumbling tone and I paused.
Quickly I took a glimpse at her and almost choked.
"No, it's horrible, we aren't here to find my son not have fun" i interjected and she narrowed her brows at me.
"Why do you sound angry"
"I'm not! I mean you have Flynn and me... I'm wandering"
I quickly asserts, not even knowing what to say but I just hope that keeps her mind away from the coffee.
She heaved a sigh and licked her lower lips while scruntizing me.
Amaris was making me nervous and I felt my skin crawl out. Did I do anything wrong?
Curiously, I dragged my legs towards the couch, biting my fingers anxiously.
"You're killing yourself Mia, and that's bad"
"I'm trying not to be anxious, thank you Ms amaris" i commented and she chuckled at me while raising a thumb up.
She rubbed my hair and I chuckled. She was everything I had too, though I might be salvage but she puts up to me.
That's why I promise not to ruin her happiness with Flynn. Adding to that promise, if Caleb was really Caleb, then I won't make them meet.
