Chapter 164: A ghost or human

Mia's POV

"Those two, do they have to taunt me?" I mused complaining about how unfair they were.

I mean it's morning and they weren't hiding their canal act from me.

Speaking of which, I wasn't better. Their act just made me horny.

Fortunately, she has them all and she truly deserves Flynn. I'm happy for her.

He had better not break her heart or I'd knock out his teeth.

I still don't like the fact that he was relating to Caleb. Unfortunately, I'm just the kind who is too free and friendly to people.

Speaking of which, I could recall when someone actually told me I had a blowjob eyes that seems to lure guys to feast on me.

Ain't my fault, it's just how I look. I kind of hated it at first but I learnt to embrace myself and love myself.

Thanks to amaris.

I heaved a sigh, scrolling my eyes around like I was keeping watch over them.

How despicable of them. I just don't want to see myself having to screech at their moan.

I belong only to Aiden and cheating is out of the game. I know I have had sex a lot but starting over with someone that cares, I didn't want to break his heart.

I know amaris thinks I don't care but I just believe he doesn't deserve me. He gives me much and I can't reciprocate that, yet he doesn't want to let go.

I'm proud of amaris, at least she isn't a shy queen anymore who freaks out at the sound of sex.

I stretched my hand, my head still bangs and it was a good thing I tried to shower before struggling to get out of the room.

A little walk will do, by the time I'm back, they should have been done. I followed the back door to get myself a cardigan because it was cold.

I don't want to be freezing in a t_shirt and shorts this early. Once I was done fitting into in, I stepped out, blocking my ears from their moans.

Whatever they were doing, I doubt if it would end soon.

I shook my head off the thought and then faked a smile. At least before I leave here, I should get to have some places to visit.

I twirl my body to and fro then dash out from the suit.

While I paced about, I found myself at the cafe threw blocks away and the sweet scent hits my nose while was enchanting.

I would have taken more soup before those two started their madness.

Curiously, I stopped by with a peep through the sleek door to see for myself.

Inside was quite enchanting and anyone would want to stop by if not for the coffee, definitely for the coffee.

I opened the door and the sound of bells ring that it was beckoning on me. Impressive.

I just realized these little bells were outside, stuck on the door frame. Eagerly, I scrolled my eyes around and creeped towards a barista who seems to be reading a book or some sort.

My eyes peeped at him but his face wasn't visible. However, his eyes, they seem familiar like someone I knew.

He was giving me an aura of...

"How many I help pretty lady?" A young guy said approaching me.  He was behind the counter too, smiling warmly at me.

I won't fall for that.

"Umm, three espresso coffee" I muttered. Those two slys should be grateful I have them at heart.

If I return and meet them still fucking, I'd bath them with the espresso.

"Alright Ms" he responded, his smile not fading and he left that spot.

My eyes settled back on the guy still immersed in his book, his legs crossed like he wasn't a part of the working staff here.

His legs were crossed as his one arm was across the back of his head. I just didn't know why I was anxious but I wanted to engage in a talk with him.

"Hi?" I began but I was totally ignored.

"Hello?" I pressed on, but he was wasn't listening. I suddenly wanted his attention. Was he even human if he wasn't listening to me?

He didn't even wink, I saw him drop his hand and used his fingers to turn over the next passage while heaving a sigh.

Some customers kept coming in and out, no one noticed him except me. For a moment, I thought I was staring at a ghost or I was lusting after him.

However, if I was this tensed about someone, I definitely want to find out.

The guy who took my order came back in a minute with it and I fluttered my eyes at him.

I chuckled while smiling broadly.

"That's quick" I commented taking out my ATM card to pay for the beverages. I took out a cup of coffee to have a taste.

Although I poured in table water just so it would simmer the steam.

"You're weird" the server said. Even though I could see his name was Joe, I still preferred referring him as a server.

"Yeah, I like it that way" I whispered, pretending to take a sip while I still had my eyes on the first barista who was busy with that damn book.

When I noticed my server had moved a bit from where the random guy sat, I purposely threw my coffee cup on him.

At last, he dropped that book but didn't flinch, properly because it was cold or he figured out?

The only person that panicked was my server as he quickly rushes to get a napkin to wipe off the stain.

I fluttered my eyes to look at him and when our eyes locked I froze. My hands accidentally pushed the two in front of me.

My server gasped but everything faded, time stood still as I couldn't breath. My body vibrates at the man I was staring at.

It can't be real, no!

"Caleb?"
