Chapter 194: Just what I want
Mia's POV
He stopped walking and then heaved a sigh while staring at me in the eyes.
"I'm sorry about that" he apologized and I thinned my lips.
"Hey, don't, I'm fine, I've moved on with it mr stalker" I assured and he chuckled while walking me to my room.
"Hey, Cinderella, don't keep me waiting" he requested as soon as we got to my door and I shrugged.
"Depends on how hot I want to look for you" i replied in a seductive tone and he crossed his palm on his chest like a panic attack and then gasp.
"I can't wait" he confessed as he step forward but I quickly opened my door and ran inside.
"Wait Mr stalker" I snapped and he lean forward at me.
"Are you sure about that?" He whispers deeply, his voice echoes in my head and I gasped softly.
My response was closing the door at his face and I chuckled naughtily for my act.
I placed my palms on my chest really excited and jittery at the same time. I don't know what surprise he has for me but I knew it would be amazing.
It took a while for me to wash up and get dressed. I joined him outside and damn, he was gorgeous.
Caleb was waiting for me at my door after freshening up too, I love his fragrance.
"Am I late?" I asked in an innocent tone but he seems speechless, his eyes lurching at me and his eyes sparkles.
"Is something wrong with my dress?" I asked and he placed his fingers around my waist, then gestured to me with his other hand to turn around.
I did so, feeling his fingers twirl with my waist and then he used that hand to pull me closer.
"Your beauty just saved you" he muttered and kissed me.
"You'd be the one making us late" I muffled in his mouth as he nippled my lips.
"Yeah, I wish so but then we got to go" he replied and then locked his arm with mine.
"I am thrilled" i responded leaning my head on his arm as we walked outside.

The cool air bath my skin as I sucked my breath with tears in my eyes. We were sitting at the balcony, my eyes gazing at the kids who play around, screaming a name, Karl.
"How did you know?" I asked trying to control my tears as my emotions were building up inside me.
He held my trembling hands as I haven't taken off my eyes from the child who raced until he got to the finished line.
"The night after the date with my parents, you were tipsy though and sobbing over a kid..." He paused while staring at me with worries.
His eyes were diluted as he kissed my palm.
"I tried looking up at the kid and turns out he was abducted by a friend of mine years ago"
It took us like two months to find him which we still haven't but only few days were enough for him.
I gasped with tears in my eyes.
"He isn't going to accept me neither do I want him to be close to Durrell, I just don't know what to do"
"Hey, we'd handle it together, you want to be with your son right"
I nodded and then a strand of tear flow from my eyes. I chuckled in pain and he wiped the tears while smiling at me.
"Just trust me Mia, I got everything under control, let's just hope they're willing to give him up"
I licked my lower lips and then rubbed my forehead. He was assuring me and I had this faith in him that indeed, it would work as planned.
"Why don't we say hi to him first, I mean he is a champion" he whispers and grinned at me.
I flushes and then sniffed.
"I don't even know what to say to him, it's been a while and I just want to embrace him and keep him in my arms" I expressed almost freaking out.
"Hey, hey Mia look at me, everything would be fine, relax" he said trying to keep me calm.
He rose up and then paced closer to me. He stretched his hand forward for me to grab and I stared at it.
I won't be leaning on this hand again after now and i'd miss him so much. The little while I spent with him was beautiful, wonderful and the best.
I fluttered my eyes at him and then grabbed his hand while rising slowly.
My feet tailed along with him as we approached Karl, my son. I had no right to abandon him, but then if I have a chance, I'd grab it.
"Hey Shawn!" Caleb called interrupting my thoughts. I was staring at his friend now and his wife was cheering Karl like never.
She kept cuddling him in her arms, showering him with kisses while he chuckles.
She loves him and I doubt if she'd be willing to let go.
"Hey, Bryan" Shawn replied and then waved at me. They had a handshake and where exchanging pleasantries but my eyes were on Karl.
"It's weird seeing your face around, I hope I'm safe" Shawn says and then Caleb smirked at him.
"That depends" Caleb replied and we exchanged glances.
"Dad" Karl called running to his father with a medal on his neck and jumping.
Shawn carried him in his arms and then ruffled his hair.
"That's my boy!" He exclaimed and then made him hop over his shoulder. My heart thuds and I couldn't breath watching how happy he was with Shawn and his wife.
I don't even stand a chance. I was shivering where I stood but then Caleb held my hand, his eyes were reassuring me that he has everything under control.
Karl's eyes settled on us and I almost burst into tears.
"Hey Bryan" Karl salutes and Caleb raised a thumb up for him then he glanced at me.
"My fiancee, we are getting married soon"
