Chapter 188: How we fell apart
Amaris’s POV
This is insane. I tried not to believe it was him but I saw Caleb! How could she hide this from me?
To worsen it, she's having sex with him. This is the worst betray ever. I never expected she'd stop so low.
Properly, this was the chance she has been waiting for, to steal him away.
I paced to and fro the balcony wanting to throw her off the balcony if I set my eyes on her.
"It's not what you're thinking" her voice eluded my thoughts and I stopped walking.
My eyes furrowed on her as I sucked my breath and then fluttered my lashes.
"That's what it looks like" I retorts as she paced closer to me.
"Look he lost his memory and he knows nothing, I was just trying to keep him away from you at first because you have Flynn..."
"Really? By seducing him to fall for you?"
"I thought you were over him"
"Even if I was, you know my heart still belongs to him even Flynn has sacrificed a lot" I barked getting annoyed and confused.
The truth is, it's always Caleb even though I cheat, it's still him and no one would take him away.
Even though it means cheating on Flynn with him, I don't really mind but then mia, she was really a sly.
"It's five years since he is away so are you going to wake up and tell Aaron that Flynn isn't his father but Caleb who on your first day in a five years scolded you?" She narrates that got me worked up as I scoffed at her.
"He wouldn't have acted that way if you haven't ruined my name in his presence, he was everywhere, at the hospital, that delivery guy...oh now I know even the cafe, that's why you don't want me there"
She heaved a sigh and threw her head to the back as though she was fed up with me already.
My eyes were blaring at her even though we were just a distance away, my loathe for her was already making her flinch.
She should have told me rather than keeping him away or maybe I was exaggerating again.
I don't even know what to think of because if I were to look at it from a brighter side, she wants me and Flynn together but to be sincere, I want both men to myself.
"Yes! That's because I thought Flynn was the one for you but not now, he isn't and I just realized it"
"What?" I brawl fuming at her. The way her eyes dance in their sockets were obvious she had more in stock for me.
"Now you know about the men in my life... awesome" I added nodding my head at her and pacing towards the sitting room to calm my nerves.
"Look I know you won't believe me and that's why I'm gathering evidence to show to you that..."
I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch, my legs vibrates as it seems the words were difficult for her to roll out.
"He is a cheat"
"Liar!" I barked, jumping up from the couch and glaring at her.
"That's the truth"
"Oh you think I don't know? He told me you tried to seduce him" I barked staring at her in the eyes.
She looked taken aback, her eyes widened in disbelief as she exhaled softly and then fluttered her eyes.
"What?" Her lips uttered as she shook her head and then scoffed.
"Yes and I know he wouldn't lie, why mia, why are you bent on ruining my happiness? All I ever wanted was a friend who cares and share my problems but you're the opposite" I cried really broken that mia would treat me this way.
Her jaw dropped as she stared at me speechless.
"That's a lie, he...no, this isn't true, he just manipulated you into believing I seduced him!" She fired pacing to and fro throwing objects in the sitting room.
"Stop that! I have prove, I tried not to believe it but he showed me a video and told me to send you out"
"Wow! And you believe that? What damn video?" She mutters squints her eyes and ducking her head.
It was a good thing Flynn warned me about her before it escalates. I just couldn't believe this but then I guess because Flynn refused to make her his, she moved on to Caleb.
Nice play by her. I growl at her and moved to search for where I left my phone in the sitting room.
I wish Flynn was here then she'd be embarrassed by herself.
This isn't the first time she had tried seducing him and ceased the opportunity to make a video just so I'd believe because telling me would definitely make me doubt him which of course I really doubted and this was more devastating than it looks.
"Why don't you believe me! All the time you keep hurting my feelings! All I ever want is your happiness yet you think I'm jealous of you" she yelled on top of her lungs but I wasn't willing to give her a break.
Found my phone. It was just laying on the dining table.
"I will never!" I barked dragging my phone and quickly scrolling through to the videos I have on it.
Found it. The video of she on her knees begging Flynn to be fucked but he refused her because he loves me.
I pointed the video to her face and she widened her eyes at me.
"That isn't me!"
"Oh he is lying now because that's the same dress I got you as a birthday gift!" I buttressed getting exhausted and staring at her in the eyes.
"This doesn't make sense, I wouldn't want to do that for the sake of our friendship"
"I doubt that, you fucked him didn't you?" I muttered drawing in my breath and letting the cat out of the bag.
Her crescent fell as she looked confused, speechless and even panting as though she was suffocating but her eyes were still fixed on me.
"you did!" I roared and then pushed her.
"Yes amaris I did better off than keeping a secret from Caleb that you didn't fuck Flynn then, was it willingly? Did he seduce you huh?"
