Chapter 212: The ending we want

Mia's POV

We'd been through our ups and downs, made mistakes and just as someone always says, we learn from it.

We all need each other and forgiveness might not to be easy but then if we'd just look on the brighter side, we could close our eyes to some faults and become stronger each day.

I took a glimpse at Aaron in a dark suit in front of me.

Everyone wore white, just I had wanted it to be. Aaron and Caleb were still at a distance and I exhaled softly.

She was a friend, quite crazy but my encouragement. Fortunately, we've got everything settled or else I'd be dead.

She was the best, I'd always say even if she had hurt my feelings a thousand times.

I let a sad smile. My flowers tightens around my red roses.

I catwalk slowly on the aisle and all eyes were fixed on me. I shifted my gaze to stare beside me.

There she was, in a white ball dress covered with a veil just like me.

We are getting married, she's doing that again with Flynn and I to Aaron.

She survived the surgery and was just being too dramatic. We giggled at each other.

My eyes settled on Karl in front of me too. Our kids now know who their real families are.

We chose to respect their decisions, Aaron of course would chose Flynn over Caleb a million times and Karl being a lovely soul, still stays with the Shawns.

I could see them waving at us from the pew and my eyes were teary. They gave me every right to my child but I'm not taking him away from them.

Likewise Caleb and we are all cool. I could see Davis and all of Caleb's real family.

We've united with them and the excitement to see their son again couldn't be measured.

They were on cool terms too with his illegitimate parents. I'm overwhelmed to witness such happy moments.

Fortunately, Aaron's heart was fixed and he can live freely, run around and never get limited to anything.

Amaris held my hand. She looked so nervous even though this isn't her first time getting married.

We were getting so emotional and couldn't control our tears. We had to pause, having difficulties to move.

The excitement and the happy ever after filled us up.

I could see Flynn and Caleb running towards us to continue the walk to the altar.

They looked confused as we weren't moving but just crying loud. Some of the guests blushed at us, while some shy on our behalf.

Others laughed cutely at us. Amaris and I didn't let go of our hands as our grooms stood side by side with us.

"Hey Mia, is anything wrong?" Caleb asked, concerned and I burst into more tears.

He had to wipe my tears underneath the vein. Amaris had let go of my hand as Flynn had walked her away to meet the priest.

"If you're nervous, we can shift the wedding"

I shook my head and hit his shoulder with the bunches of roses in my hand. He shouldn't say that.

It's been a moment I've been waiting for and this can't be changed.

"I can't believe,... I'm ending up with you" I whispered in a tiny tone and he scoffed.

"Oh I see, I fell in love but you fell harder" he teased and I threw my arms around his neck, not concerned that everyone's waiting for us.

"Nice try Bryan, but I won" i replied and he carried me in his arms like a princess.

"I'm glad, it's you Mia and we'd make it perfect" he says in a passionate tone. I lean my head on his chest as he walked me closer to the altar.

He gently placed me down and amaris grinned at me mischievously while I winked at her.

I'm very such I didn't listen to what the Priest was singing in our ears or vows because I want to be devoured.

"You may kiss the bride"

Yes, that moment, I heard it loud and clear. It's our moment and we're glowing.

We stared at each other passionately with tears in our eyes and his arms went around my waist as he captured my lips.

It's not like we never had our disagreements, marriages aren't perfect but we just worked towards making it perfect.

I must say, I never had any dull moments or regret being with the new Caleb. We were family friends with Flynn and amaris.

"I love you" he whispers drawing me back to reality. Here I was at the balcony, feeling the cool breeze on my skin.

His arms around my waist as I inhaled softly leaning my head on his chest.

We were staring at the nightsky just like the first time we met here and this was beautiful.

I'm never tired of hearing that. He sings it to me like a lullaby.

"Okay if you're here, where's Tasha?" I muttered and he kissed my cheek.

"With her grandma of course, she's a teenager now" he mutters and I spun myself around to face him.

We have a daughter now, and she's 12. That's still a baby to me.

"And the twins?"

He fluttered his eyes and swallowed hard.

"Well...the boys, I locked them up"

"What!" I panicked and he let go of me while placing a pitous look.

"Did I do anything wrong? They're in their room watching movies of course"

"No way, Caleb, you're meant to take them to camp" i pointed out slapping my forehead.

This is what happens when I leave Caleb with them.

"Well, my boys would be camping with their dad and mom" he pointed out with a proud look and I grabbed his ear.

"Get ready, we are taking them to camp"

"Argh!" He wailed as I release his ears.

"But I have planned the evening with them" he tried to explain and I narrowed his eyes at him.

"Now!"

He quickly threw his hands in the air and then smiled naughtily at me.

"Yes your majesty"

I blushed and then shook my head at him. I watch him leave and then heaved a sigh.

I love you Caleb.
