Chapter 209: Is this really what I want?
Amaris's POV
He kept looking at the image and I felt disgusted by the lustful look on his face.
She isn't that pretty, why do all the guys want her. I adjusted my coat and then grabbed my mug with my both hands.
Here I am, staring at the hitman I had placed a call to for a meeting. We were at a cafe close to my apartment.
I felt Flynn was delaying on purpose, he didn't want to hurt her after claiming he could burn the world for me.
"Consider it done" he muttered in a deep tone and I squeezed my lips.
I'd be present when she's hit. The excitement in my face was unmeasurable and this was the best moment.
The moment I have been waiting for. I swallowed hard and then tightened my grip on the mug.
"Just don't make it bloody" i reprimanded and then eyed him. He nodded still staring at her image.
After a few discussions, and handing half of his payment in a briefcase, he left. The completion would be made after the job is done.
I felt lonely in this place, wearing a face cap to conceal my face and basking in the aura of this place.
Somehow, I didn't want to go home but stalk Caleb. It's been three days now since I visited his hospital.
I left the cafe and in a few minutes, I was in Caleb's villa, staring at him as he waters the garden with Mia.

He doesn't even care about his son! Well, although he has been trying to come to agreement with me through a representative but he doesn't even have regards for poor Aaron.
He is a despicable father. He can't even come himself to see Aaron! They're too happy, probably mocking me for being stupid.
You'd pay for this Mia. I didn't even want to see them again and left for Aaron's school.
Fortunately, I arrived when it was his closure time and I saw him standing at the pavement with a large toy in his hand.
He wasn't waving at me, but someone. I turned around to take a glimpse at who it was.
"Dad!" He screamed and I paused where I stood. It was Flynn with open arms, running to embrace him, excited and showering him with kisses.
I fluttered my eyes watching how he went in circles with Aaron in his arms.
I smirked and then closed my eyes briefly. He shouldn't be here. He can't come close until Mia is dead at least.
"Hey, did mom come around? Did she get this for you?" He suddenly asked and I spur my eyes opened.
He was definitely referring to the bear in his hand and I grunt. Isn't he the one who got it.
"It's a stranger, he says you sent him" Aaron whispered as the bear was in between him and Flynn.
Flynn scrolled his eyes around, suddenly feeling insecure but he didn't tell Aaron anything.
I know Flynn. He would definitely file a complaint to the principal about the safety of Aaron.
I have a feeling it's Caleb, probably watching over him but doesn't want to break the shocking news to him.
I heaved a sigh and stepped out of my hiding place to meet Flynn just not to start a drama.
"You're here" i muttered and quickly Aaron covered his face on Flynn.
He seems to understand that I was here to take him away from Flynn but he didn't want to leave.
Flynn's face grew sober as he let out a soft sigh, slowly dropped Aaron.
"Hey" he whispers and then rubbed his hair, uncomfortable.
Aaron slowly waved at Flynn who smile broadly at him. He squat low and tickled him.
"I love you bunny"
"I love you superman, I hope you both get back together, I'm dying from waiting for you to come back" Aaron confesses as he placed his palm on Flynn's chest.
Flynn let out a sad smile as tears clouded his eyes. He shifted his gaze at me and I was becoming emotional.
"Don't waste my time Aaron, the car" I reminded and he pulled a frown while racing to the car.
"You had one job Flynn!" I began as he gently rose up, standing straight and staring into my eyes.
"This isn't you amaris, don't become a villain just because you want to get back at Caleb, he has made his decision" he pointed out and I licked my lower lips, stunned by his words.
"What? Now I see, you also liked her, so you think I was joking after we fucked?"
"You're letting your emotional take control amaris, please listen to me, you're best friends and it's my fault in all this, I just got carried away to have sex with her but it means nothing" he whispers trying to hold me but I pushed him back, glaring at him.
Flynn licked his lower lips, he was nervous, his eyes gazed to and fro. Luckily there weren't parents and wards around this area.
I was mad at him that he was taking sides and what has Mia done to him?
"I hate you for real this time" I confessed with tears in my eyes. Mia is at fault and I won't be needing him again.
"Amaris, please don't keep pushing me away, Aaron needs us together..."
"Oh should I tell him that you're a womanizer fucking anyone that has a pussy!"
He was quiet as guilt eats him up.
"Stay away from my son and I, you can't kill her because she has taken over you!"
"It's you I love, I admit I am wrong, just give me a chance please amaris" he pleaded in a sober tone, his eyes peered into mine.
For a moment, I thought he was going to cry but then he was holding himself.
"You missed it Flynn and I definitely don't deserve a worthless cheat like you..."
"What? Really? Would you hide the fact that cheated too on Caleb while he was alive?" He suddenly cuts in as though geared up to challenge me.
