Chapter 15: Don't Do This
Hearing Lendon's loud voice, she wanted to disappear. Kendra saw Lendon being mad and felt a little scared. She decided not to get close to him for now. So, Kendra walked to the door quietly and wanted to run back to her room.
"What time is it now? Where is Kendra?" Lendon shouted in anger.
Kendra suddenly stopped moving, and it seems her own feet were rooted to the ground.
"My Lord, there she is." Curtis betrayed Kendra immediately, which made her felt a bit annoyed.
Lendon looked to Kendra, who was standing there still, back facing him.
"Kendra! Come here!" Lendon called her, voice was cold as ice.
Hell no! What should she do? Lendon seemed to be the death goblin right now. Kendra really didn't want to move a bit nor come near him.
"Are you deaf?" Lendon shouted impatiently. Why didn't she walk to him?
Never mind! Anyway, Lendon was her boss. Kendra had to give in and turned around. She walked to Lendon and asked, "How can I help you, Lendon?"
Looking at Kendra's pretty face and thin luscious lips, Lendon wanted to kiss it so much, but he remembered what Alexis told him. Lendon got even more annoyed and shortly said, "Have dinner with me."
"Yes." Like a scared little rabbit, Kendra walked to him. It was easy just to eat with him as long as Lendon wouldn't ask for more. But obviously, Kendra was wrong.
"I don't like it. It's not good." His voice came again. He almost tasted every dish and disliked them all.
Kendra felt so awkward. She looked at Curtis and wanted him to say something. However, Curtis just shrugged. There was nothing he could do to appease Lendon's sudden throw of tantrums.
"Why don't you eat?" Looking at her, Lendon asked.
"What?! I..." Startled, she hesitantly lifted her spoon and fork.
"You don't like them, too?" Lendon narrowed his eyes towards her, thinking that she disliked what has been served.
"No, they are delicious." Kendra shook her head as she began tasting the food. She ate some salad, trying to put a curved smile on her lips.
The dining hall was so quiet that only Kendra's sound of eating could be heard.
Lendon wasn't in the mood to eat. Curtis finally walked to him and said, "My Lord, do you want the chef to cook new food for you?"
"No," Lendon said and glanced at Kendra. He soon picked his knife and fork to eat, just like Kendra.
Curtis was so surprised. What did Mr. Martin say just now?
Kendra didn't care about Lendon's changing attitude. She just wanted to go back to her room as soon as she finished this tormenting dinner. It was not her shift tonight, and she could spend some time reading.
Soon, Kendra stood up and said, "I am full."
"Wait!" Lendon stared at Kendra and said, "Did I let you go?"
"But I am full," she argued.
"Curtis, what does the contract say?" Lendon leaned against his chair and asked arrogantly.
"When Mr. Martin has dinner, Kendra should stay with him. If Kendra can't do it, she will be fined 1000 dollars." Curtis smiled while narrating one of the contract clauses.
"What?" Kendra's voice upheaved a bit. It was so ridiculous! Lendon only paid her 200 dollars every day, but his punishment was so expensive. How could she afford to pay such a huge penalty?
Kendra sat down again and glared at Lendon. She tried her best to calm down. Lendon deliberately ignored her behavior, enjoying his food.
After a while, Lendon finally stopped eating, and Kendra thought she could be free.
"Kendra, I need to bathe. Go, prepare for it." Lendon was casually ordering her.
"It's not my shift," Kendra retorted.
"Pardon?" Lendon threatened, looking at her annoyed expression.
Giving a sarcastic smile and smirking, she unwillingly stood, "Yes, sir."
Kendra went to Lendon's bathroom and prepared everything for him. She thought she could leave after doing her tasks, but Lendon followed her and gave another order.
"Kendra, take my clothes off," Lendon lazily said.
What did he say? Kendra frowned and stood still.
"Quickly." Lendon urged impatiently. He stretched his arms and waited for Kendra's service.
Kendra hesitated. After a few seconds, she made up her mind and said, "Mr. Martin, you should do your own thing."
When he heard her words, Lendon sarcastically asked, "What did you say?" He stared at Kendra and frowned.
Was he deaf? Kendra took a deep breath and roared, "I said, you should do your own thing." Then, she turned around and wanted to leave.
"Stop! Woman, are you unwilling to serve me?" Lendon was outraged this time.
Kendra quickened her step, but before she walked out of the bathroom, she was lifted up and thrown to the tub.
Kendra screamed and couldn't believe Lendon would make such a sudden attack.
"You don't want to take my clothes off? Then you should take a bath with me." Lendon looked at Kendra, who was totally wet, and sneered.
Kendra stood up quickly and saw Lendon also walking into the tub. They were both still dressed up.
Kendra held herself and said, "Don't come here." She wanted to retreat a few steps, but there was not much space left, her thin body touched the wall.
"Why? Are you scared? I've seen and tasted all parts of your body. Tell me why you act like this?" Lendon began to tease her, and a naughty smile formed at the corner of his lips. He moved to Kendra slowly, grabbed her, and pinned her to the wall.
Though they had done everything, Kendra was still afraid of Lendon. She didn't want to have sex with Lendon at all. Lendon left her huge shadow for the first time.
"Lendon, don't come here, please," Kendra begged.
"You like me. Just admit it." Lendon smiled and rubbed Kendra's skin.
"Don't do this." Kendra trembled and said. She could only use her hands to stop Lendon.
Lendon ignored Kendra's rejection, lowered his head, and claimed her lips. He rubbed Kendra's waist slowly and seemed to enjoy what he's doing.
Kendra couldn't struggle, and she felt so nervous.
The bathroom was full of mists and looked so ambiguous.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door and said, "My Lord,"
Lendon had to stop kissing and howled, "Curtis! Are you looking for death?"
"My Lord, Alexis said that you couldn't stay alone with Miss Miller," Curtis said worriedly and kept knocking on the door.
Hearing Curtis's words, Kendra felt so confused.
Lendon frowned and stared at Kendra anxiously.
"What does he mean?" Kendra asked in a low voice, frowning.
"Fuck!" Lendon shouted and punched the wall. He didn't answer Kendra's question.
Kendra felt so scared.
"Get out," Lendon said coldly.
Kendra stood up immediately and walked out of the tub.
"Wait." Lendon suddenly said.
God damn! What did he want to do now? Kendra felt so annoyed again.
Lendon stood up and gave a towel to Kendra. "Take a shower and change your clothes. It's not good to soak wet. I don't want you to get sick," He said and left the bathroom.
Lendon slammed the door and left Kendra alone. She stared blankly at the door where Lendon walked out, wondering what's going on.
After Kendra took a shower and walked out of the bathroom, Lendon was not there anymore.
On her way back to her room, Kendra heard Lendon shouting and smashing. What was happening? She wanted to know the reason why Lendon was throwing tantrums the whole day.
Kendra walked to Alexis's lab quietly and saw Lendon smashing the apparatus in anger.
"Mr. Martin, there is nothing I can do now. It would be best if you stayed away from Miss Miller, or…" Alexis said helplessly.
