Chapter 18: What Did You Do To Her?

Curling on the ground, Kendra screamed immediately. She was kicked to the swimming pool. She struggled and shouted, "Help! Help!" Though the swimming pool was not deep, Kendra couldn't stand up because she suffered a stomach ache at this moment. She was drowning.
Fiona crossed her arms on her breast and sternly stared at Kendra. "You deserve it! You have ruined my dress earlier, I can't forgive what you've done," She even cursed.
Other maidservants saw Kendra struggling and rushed to her right away.
"Miss Miller, are you okay?" They asked.
"Miss Miller?" Fiona felt confused. Why did they call this maidservant Miss Miller?
Soon, Curtis arrived. When he noticed what happened, he was so worried. "Save her now." He ordered quickly.
"Wait! Why did you save her?" Fiona stopped Curtis and asked.
Curtis thought Fiona was annoyed, but he still said politely, "Miss Fiona, if someone dies here, Mr. Martin won't like it. I'm sure you knew his temperament, right?"
"You…" Fiona was surprised because she noticed Curtis's impatience. It was not his style. Who was this woman? And why did Curtis rush to protect her?
Kendra was pulled out of the swimming pool soon. Curtis walked to her nervously and said, "Send Miss Miller back to her room, quickly."
"What happened?"
At that time, Lendon suddenly appeared and asked. Hearing his voice, everyone got afraid. Nobody dared to speak.
Lendon came with a sexy woman curled on his arm. He glanced at everyone and asked, "What's happening?"
"It…" Curtis said. However, Fiona interrupted him and said, "Lendon, your maidservant was so rude. I just told her to behave, and she didn't even listen to me!"
Fiona walked to Lendon and held his waist.
"Really?" Lendon lifted Fiona's chin and said, "Who dares to piss you off?" He rubbed Fiona's waist softly.
"It's her." Fiona pointed at Kendra, who's now soaking wet, curled herself on the ground.
Lendon looked to the ground and finally saw Kendra's face, soaked and wet, looking like a helpless kitten. Lendon's smile was gone, and his face turned gloomy.
"Lendon, she ruined my dress. I just kicked…" Fiona said.
Before Fiona finished her words, Lendon hardly slapped her face and shouted, "Say it again! What did you do to her?"
Fiona fell down and looked at Lendon horribly. Her mouth was bleeding.
"Answer my question!" Lendon bent down and grasped Fiona's neck, making her struggle to breathe. His eyes were full of hatred while staring at her.
"I, I just kicked her," Fiona said nervously.
Lendon kicked Fiona's belly heavily. Fiona almost passed out.
Everyone looked at Lendon and didn't dare to breathe.
"Damn you! How dare you hurt my woman. You're seeking your death," Lendon said, "Curtis, send Kendra back to her room." He was so angry that he looked like Death goblin this time.
"Yes, my Lord." Curtis said, "How should we deal with Fiona?"
Lendon glared at Fiona and said, "Let her drink up all the water in this swimming pool."
Fiona climbed up and held Lendon's leg. She cried and begged, "I am sorry. I don't know…."
"Get off your hands!" Lendon held Fiona's chin and said, "Who are you to teach my servants here?"
"Mr. Martin, I am sorry. Please forgive me." Fiona kept begging.
Lendon raised his eyebrows and sneered. He pushed Fiona away and said, "You have two choices now. You drink up the water. Or, your family's company will go broke."
Lendon left right away.
"Lendon, don't do this to me!" Fiona screamed.
"Curtis, keep an eye on her," Lendon shouted.
"Yes." Curtis smiled and said, "It's time to make your choice, Miss Fiona."
Fiona lay on the ground so desperately. She knew Lendon would not take back his decision.
Alexis went to Kendra's room and checked her body.
Lendon also went to Kendra's room immediately. "What's wrong with her?" He asked and stared at Kendra, frowning.
"It's not a big deal. Miss Miller is on her period, and she fell down to the swimming pool, so she may catch a cold or have severe dysmenorrhea."
"Dysmenorrhea?" Lendon asked curiously. He knew women might suffer when their period came, but he never really met this situation before.
At that time, Kendra groaned.
Lendon looked at Kendra and saw her covering her belly and curling her body up. Besides, her forehead was sweaty. She seemed extremely to have suffered so much pain. Lendon suddenly felt pity for her. He wanted to comfort her.
"What's happening to her?" Lendon worriedly asked.
"It's dysmenorrhea," Alexis said again.
"Help her! Damn it, Alexis find ways to cure her pain," Lendon roared and threw a threatening glance at Alexis, "Can't you see her pain?"
"I can do nothing. It's normal for women who have their period," Alexis answered.
"What?" Lendon looked at Alexis and asked unbelievably, "Give her some pills or a sedative. You have to do something, or else, I will blow up your lab."
"I can't give her any sedatives. It will be bad for her health." Alexis noted.
"Can you at least ease her pain?" Lendon said, his eyes flew to Kendra's face.
"We can give her a hot compress to alleviate her pain. She will feel better if her belly gets warmer," Alexis answered.
"What are you waiting for? Go! Give her a hot compress then!" Lendon shouted.
Alexis walked out of Kendra's room and felt surprised. Lendon was getting more and more strange recently. He even punished a woman for Kendra's sake, now. Lendon never did such a thing before. Did he… Alexis stood out of Kendra's room and smiled.
Lendon saw Alexis still standing there and shouted in anger, "Alexis, fuck you! Move quickly!"
"I'm going to do it. Be patient, okay?" Alexis shook his head while heading back to his lab to make a hot compress for Kendra.
Kendra woke up after a while. However, she couldn't open her eyes because the pain still remains.
"Why is she still in pain?" Lendon's voice rang again.
"It will work soon. I will go get some hot water again." Alexis said.
Kendra could hear that Lendon was walking around the room.
"Get out." Lendon waved his hands and told everyone to leave.
Soon, it became quiet.
Kendra thought she could have a night of good sleep now, but Lendon lay next to her suddenly and held her.
"How do you feel?" Lendon asked. He looked at Kendra and saw her frowning and biting her lips. Kendra seemed so helpless and poor.
Lendon somehow felt heartbroken and put his hands into Kendra's bully, rubbing it gently.
Kendra tried to avoid it, and she felt awkward with what he did.
"Don't move. I need to warm your belly up." Lendon said and rubbed Kendra's belly lightly over and over again.
Kendra woke up totally this time because she felt so comfortable. Was it really Lendon who lay beside her?
"Do you feel better?" Lendon asked.
Kendra couldn't believe her ears. She never saw Lendon being so mild.
"Have a good sleep. You will be fine when you wake up." Lendon coaxed Kendra as if she were a baby.
Kendra wanted to get away from Lendon's arms, but his hug was too comfortable. Finally, she gave up struggling and fell asleep in Lendon's arms.
The moon shone up in the sky, and no one dared to disturb this couple.
After some time, Kendra woke up and found it was night. How long did she sleep? She wanted to get up, but she soon found that Lendon was still next to her. He didn't leave?
