Chapter 64: I Want You To Be Mine Forever
During their way to the Garden Hotel, Kendra was so nervous that she even got sweaty. Curtis also felt worried and frowned.
Lendon didn't notice their weird behavior. He just expected what surprise Kendra prepared for him.
They would arrive at the hotel soon. Kendra almost couldn't breathe.
"You seemed to be sweating a lot," Lendon teased her.
Kendra nodded and said nothing.
"Are you nervous?" Lendon stared at her then asked curiously.
"Lendon," Kendra asked carefully, "What if there is another one who will join our dinner?"
"What do you mean?" Lendon's eyebrows cocked, hearing her last words.
"When we have dinner in the castle, there will be many maids around you. Do you feel strange?" Kendra asked.
"I am used to it," Lendon thought for a second and answered. He was born into a royal family. Maids were the most normal thing for him. It was not a big deal, and everyone tended to serve him as they were hired to do it.
"That's good," Kendra felt relieved and said.
"Do you have a surprise for me?" Lendon stared at Kendra and asked. He was looking forward to Kendra confessing her real feelings for him.
"What?"
"Kendra, I like the way you are." Lendon rubbed Kendra's head and said gently. Kendra knew to prepare a surprise for him, and she thought about him all the time.
Kendra felt embarrassed. When Lendon found the truth, would he be angry?
"We are here," Curtis said and got off. The Garden Hotel was famous. Only rich or powerful people would come here.
Lendon and Kendra got off. Lendon held Kendra's hand and walked into the hotel lobby. Kendra led Lendon to a private dining lounge. Joyce had told her about the private dining lounge before they arrived here.
When Lendon was about to open the door, Kendra stopped him and said, "Lendon, promise me. Whatever you see, don't be too excited." She wanted to warn him first.
Lendon nodded without hesitation. He opened and door and walked in.
"Long time no see, Mr. Martin." Joyce stood up and greeted him.
Lendon's smile disappeared, and he tightened his grasp at Kendra's hand.
Kendra frowned. Surely, Lendon was angry right now.
"Lendon, this is Joyce. You met her before." Kendra grabbed Lendon's arm and introduced.
"Shut up!" Lendon glared at Kendra and asked, "This is the surprise you wanna give me?"
"I..." Kendra didn't know what to say.
"Kendra, you are challenging my patience," Lendon said deeply and increased his strength.
Kendra bore the pain and kept her smile. "I asked Joyce out to have dinner with us." She explained.
"So it is not for me, and there is no surprise?" Lendon's gaze fell at her, face darkened.
Kendra looked at Lendon nervously. He looked so horrible. Kendra knew he was going to break out.
Joyce didn't know what was happening.
She coughed and said, "Lendon, we didn't talk last time. I..."
"Shut up!" Lendon shouted loudly.
Joyce felt embarrassed.
"It hurts." Kendra looked at her hand and said.
Lendon didn't let her go.
"You are hurt?" Lendon sneered and asked.
She was lost for words, and the pain was unbearable as Lendon clasped her wrist tightly.
"Kendra, did you take me here on purpose?" Lendon stared at Kendra and asked.
Kendra felt afraid and hesitated. Then, after a while, she finally nodded, "Yes."
Lendon suddenly kicked the table and threw a chair away. He was furious as Kendra lured him into a dinner date for someone.
Joyce never saw Lendon being angry before. Her face turned pale immediately.
Kendra also felt scared and lowered her head.
The security personnel of the hotel heard the noise and rushed into the private dining lounge.
"Get out all of you!" Lendon shouted, enraged.
Curtis saw it coming, so he told the security personnel to leave immediately.
"Kendra, what am I to you?" Lendon stared at Kendra and asked coldly.
"I can explain," Kendra stepped back, trying to explain.
"Can you? What can you explain right now?" Lendon looked at Kendra gravely. He was betrayed, "Did she force you to take me here? Or did she lie to you?"
"I..."
"Say it!
"I am so sorry." Kendra wanted to cry. Her face turned pale.
"I don't need your apology." Lendon grabbed Kendra's wrist and said, "I thought you liked me, and you want to give me a surprise. But, of course, I never imagine that she will be my surprise." He glanced at Joyce shortly.
Lendon finally realized that Kendra didn't fall into him. Instead, she wanted to push him away. It never happened to him before. Kendra really hurt him. He wanted to punish her, but he chose to control his anger.
"I am so sorry." Kendra apologized again. She did lie to Lendon.
"Shut up!" Lendon's voice was full of disappointment. He hated when she often apologized.
Kendra stared at Lendon and almost cried. She forced herself to choke back her tears.
Lendon looked at Kendra's necklace and mocked, "How ridiculous I am! I thought you knew how I felt." He gave the necklace to Kendra and hoped that she could understand its meaning. But it seemed impossible.
"The heart of the ocean never dies." Lendon smiled coldly and said, "Kendra, do you think you can get rid of me?"
Hearing Lendon's words, Kendra felt horrible and asked, "What do you mean?"
"You don't understand?" Lendon forced Kendra to look at him and said, "I want you to be mine forever. Did I make myself clear now? Look what you've done? You hurt me this time. How could you do this to me? Why?" He wanted to yell at her, but he was in pain to even hurt her this time. It was the first time that Lendon talked sincerely to Kendra.
Kendra looked at Lendon with horror as if he was like a dark goblin taking her very soul. Then, she clenched her fists to calm down and asked, "Can't I leave if the contract ends or you are healed?"
"The contract is a piece of waste paper from the beginning," Lendon told her the truth cruelly. For Lendon, he didn't care about the contract at all, and nothing could restrict him. It was a lie to make Kendra become his maid and pay her bill. All he just wanted is to make her his woman.
"You lied to me?" Kendra was stunned.
"Do you still want to leave me? Since you accepted my necklace, it is impossible." Lendon sneered and said. He was a wolf, the most loyal animal in the world. Since he had feelings for Kendra, he had made sure that Kendra would be his only one. He gave her a chance to say no, but she accepted his necklace.
"No." Kendra shook her head and said, "I don't know its meaning. I don't know if it's the heart of the ocean." She broke down and finally cried. If she knew the meaning, she wouldn't have accepted it. How would she choose to stay with Lendon forever?
Seeing Kendra crying, Lendon felt annoyed.
He tightened his hand as if he wanted to break Kendra's wrist. "Do you regret it? It's too late." Lendon loomed at Kendra coldly and said, "In my world, if I make up my mind, I won't change it. But, Kendra, since the moment I loved you, you can't get rid of me."
Kendra looked into Lendon's eyes and found his eyes turned green suddenly. They are the eyes of a wolf! What was going on?
Joyce saw everything and got too shocked to speak. She managed to walk out of the private dining lounge, but someone knocked her out immediately.
"You are mine! You are mine forever!" Lendon said excitedly. The next second, he walked to Kendra and kissed her. He would never let her go. This woman belonged to him.
Kendra tried to push Lendon away. However, the harder she struggled, the crazier Lendon became. Finally, he grabbed her hands tightly and pressed her against the wall.
Kendra could do nothing to stop Lendon.
Finally, Lendon loosened Kendra's hands, but he lifted her up and opened another door in this private lounge.
Garden Hotel was famous for the secret room in every private lounge. There were available rooms exclusively for every guest.
Lendon knew it clearly, so when Kendra mentioned Garden Hotel, he thought she was giving him a hint.
Lendon threw Kendra to the bed. Before Kendra could get up, Lendon climbed to the bed, pinning her down.
"Don't come here," Kendra begged poorly.
Lendon smiled horribly and tied Kendra's hands with his necktie. "What are you afraid of? Don't worry. I will be gentle." He said.
"No!" Kendra shook her head and cried out.
"No!"
Lendon rubbed Kendra's cheek and said, "I don't care about my poison. I will fuck you tonight."
"No. Please don't." Kendra begged again. She really didn't want to have sex tonight.
"Are you worried about yourself or me?" Lendon mocked.
Kendra cried out loudly and didn't answer Lendon.
Lendon smiled and kissed Kendra again.
Though Kendra struggled a lot, he still forced her. He hugged Kendra with all his strength and shifted into a wolf. He liked the feeling that he could control everything about her. However, Lendon knew clearly that Kendra didn't belong to him... heart didn't belong to him anymore.
Kendra had run out of tears and lost all her strength. She lay on the bed and kept trembling.
