Chapter 67: How Shameless
On their way back to the castle, Kendra's eyes flew to the window. She was drowning in her thoughts and felt depressed.
The beautiful neon lights on the street couldn't alter her sadness. It was almost dark, and the street was crowded, yet her mind was wandering.
Kendra glanced at Lendon and saw him tapping something seriously on his laptop. People said that men were most attractive when they worked devotedly. But Lendon was attractive all the time.
"Do I look good?" Lendon asked suddenly after sensing her deep gaze.
"What?" Kendra takes back her gaze.
"Do you think I look good?" Lendon looked at her and asked with a big smile, obviously, he's teasing her.
How shameless!
"You must think I am shameless." Lendon frowned. He guessed her thought.
How did he know? Kendra thought in silence and shook her head, "No. You do look good."
"Such a perfect man sits next to you. Do you feel touched?" Lendon continued teasing her, grinning. Kendra felt helpless. Why was Lendon so overconfident and arrogant?
"No!" She denied it immediately, snorted.
"You are lying." Lendon shook his head.
Fine. Kendra didn't want to explain anymore. It's useless to argue with him.
Lendon held Kendra's waist and rubbed it.
"Go back to what you're doing." Kendra struggled, trying to break free from him.
"Let me hug you for a while." Lendon stared at her and closed his laptop. He smelled Kendra's scent and somehow felt relaxed. Later, he rubbed Kendra's body softly and kissed her neck. Then, his arms gradually pulled her to his embrace, and he kissed her lips.
Kendra wanted to push Lendon away but failed to do it as he tightly hugged her.
Lendon was so good at kissing. Every time he kissed her, she almost ended up breathless. Finally, Lendon lifted Kendra's chin again and sucked her lips, inviting her to respond.
Kendra grabbed Lendon's shirt when she felt her breathing seemed difficult.
"You need to breathe," Lendon mumbled over their kiss.
Kendra felt shy and blushed. After a while, Lendon finally let go of her and asked, "Do you feel hungry?"
"Yes." Kendra nodded and said faintly.
"We will be home soon." Lendon patted Kendra's head like a tiny pet.
"I want to go to the supermarket. You can go back home first." She suddenly told him. She just wanted to get some fresh air, away from his suffocating control.
"We have everything in the castle." Lendon stared at her, brows furrowed.
"I want to go shopping," Kendra said faintly, and her eyes flew to the window again.
"I can go with you." Lendon's voice rang. He didn't want to leave Kendra even for a second.
She knew that Lendon wouldn't let her run away again, so she could only give in.
The driver stopped in front of a supermarket. As Lendon got out of the car, he drew much attention. Kendra lowered her head and walked quickly to the supermarket.
There were fewer people inside. Kendra went directly to the personal care section and looked for things she wanted to buy. She needed to change her toothbrush, towel, and shower cap.
She picked up a few products, compared them with each other carefully, and put some into her shopping cart after picking those items that suited her taste.
"Okay. I am done." Kendra said and turned around.
Lendon was also pushing a shopping cart and followed Kendra. He also took the same products that Kendra had chosen but picked up a different color.
"What are these?" Kendra was shocked, seeing all the products on his cart.
"They are mine." Lendon casually said, ignoring her reaction.
"Do you need them?" Kendra asked confusedly.
"I want to use the same products like yours." Lendon glanced at her, smiling.
She wanted to react but choke back her words. Kendra turned around and wanted to leave.
"There is one more thing we need to buy." Lendon grabbed Kendra's hand and dragged her to another section.
"What?" Kendra pulled her hand and halted her pace, yet Lendon's grip was too tight and managed to pull her toward the display section.
"This!" Lendon picked one box of condoms and waved in front of her, "Which one do you prefer?"
Kendra blushed immediately, gritted her teeth, "What are you doing?" She felt so embarrassed. How could Lendon ask her such a question in public?
"What? Are you shy?" Lendon smiled evilly, "We are adults. We slept together, and I knew you don't want to have a baby sooner. So there is no need to be shy."
"Stop it!" Kendra glared at him and secretly pinched his waist.
Lendon laughed louder and hugged her. Then, he whispered, "Tell me, which one do you prefer?"
"Lendon!" Kendra pushed him in anger.
"Don't be shy. Do you like the smell of strawberries? Or I will just buy what I like?" Lendon said casually and let go of her.
For god's sake! Kendra rubbed her forehead and tried to calm down. She felt one day she would either kill Lendon or herself.
When they went to pay the bill, the cashier glanced at them weirdly after seeing several boxes of condoms.
Kendra lowered her head embarrassingly while Lendon acted so normal.
Suddenly, they heard that a couple in front of them were talking.
"Should we watch a film tonight?" The husband asked.
"Which film?" The wife asked back.
"Love action movies from Japan." The husband said excitedly.
"What's that?" The wife asked curiously. "Something horrible. The leading lady will keep roaring." The husband explained.
"Okay, but I may be afraid." The wife responded.
"It's fine. I will be there with you. I will protect you." The husband answered back cheerfully.
"Okay." The wife agreed.
Soon, it was Lendon and Kendra's turn.
"Sir, you need to pay 1007 Euro." The cashier said.
Lendon stood still and didn't say anything.
"What's up?" Kendra pushed Lendon and asked.
"I want to watch a film, too." Lendon stared at Kendra and said.
"Let's pay the bill first. Where is your credit card?" Kendra changed the topic.
Lendon took his card out and paid the bill quickly. Then, they went back to the castle. After dinner, Lendon led Kendra to a film room inside the castle. It was a huge room with a big screen and two seats.
"Wait for a moment. I have told Curtis to prepare us a horrible film."
She heard his voice while following his every move.
"Horrible film?" Kendra was confused about what he said a while ago.
Lendon nodded, looking for the film he's mentioning.
Soon, all lights were turned off, and the movie was on. This film had horrible background music and bloody scenes. Kendra stared at the screen while eating chips.
As time passed by, the scenes became more and more morbid. Then, suddenly, a woman with a bloody face appeared.
"Ah!" Lendon screamed as he saw the terrible face appear on the screen.
"What are you doing? You scare me!" Kendra glared at him.
Lendon was frightened. He tried to calm down and snorted, "You shouted first."
She was speechless cause she didn't even scream, yet Lendon accused her. Staring at him, Kendra noticed that Lendon's face got pale. She pulled him into her embrace and asked confusedly, "Are you afraid?"
"You are not?" Shaking, Lendon glared at Kendra and asked loudly. Why did she look so calm watching the terrible scene?
"I am not afraid of it," Kendra said casually, smiling. She wanted to provoke him.
"Are you even a woman?" Lendon asked in anger.
"Why are you afraid? You are a man, but you suddenly scream like a baby," Kendra suddenly laughing hard at him.
"Shut up!" Lendon looked away, annoyed.
"Lendon, if you are afraid, you can lean on my shoulder." Kendra teased him.
"Kendra Miller!" Lendon shouted.
"If you were afraid, we shouldn't choose this film." Kendra was still laughing in tears as she looked at him.
"C'mon, admit it. I will be happy to embrace you," Kendra's laugh came even louder.
Suddenly, Lendon grabbed the back of Kendra's head and kissed her lips fiercely. The film was still on, but they kissed each other passionately.
Lendon caressed Kendra's body and kissed every inch of it.
"Lendon, wait!" Kendra struggled as she felt Lendon push her to the couch.
"Don't laugh at me." Lendon looked at Kendra and warned her. Then, he quickly picked Kendra and went to her room.
During the whole night, Kendra really regretted teasing him. She shouldn't have pissed him off.
"Say you are wrong," Lendon commanded her.
"My sincere apology," Kendra said as their body entangled, naked.
"Say you won't laugh at me anymore." Lendon rained tiny kisses on her body, leaving red marks on it.
"I won't laugh at you anymore." Kendra felt a sudden desire awakening on her body again.
Lendon stared at Kendra and smiled evilly, "Say you love me."
A pinch of hesitation was written on her face. Did she really fall in love with him?
"Say it!" Lendon pinched Kendra's cheek and insisted.
"I love you." Kendra cried out while uttering these magic words.
"Good girl." Lendon kissed Kendra's tears and gradually penetrated her body again. She let out a loud moan, and her legs snaked around his waist. They made love several times.
When everything was over, Kendra was so tired that she fell asleep immediately.

On the other end, Michael finally dealt with all the files and rubbed his eyes. Since the engagement party, he had been busy with work.
Someone knocked on the door and came in. It was Jane.
"Michael, it's been late. Why are you still up?" Jane asked and gave Michael a glass of water. Michael drank it and said nothing. "Take care of yourself, son," Jane said worriedly.
"I will take a break later once I'm done," Michael answered without looking at his mother.
"And as for your engagement, I will tell them that we will…."
Michael interrupted his mom and said, "I won't marry Bianca."
"It's my fault. I shouldn't have forced you." Jane was embarrassed and lowered her head.
"It's okay. Anyway, it was ruined, and you knew I never loved that woman," Michael's voice came with a pinch of sarcasm.
