Chapter 59

The sun ray from the window slipped through the curtains and that woke Jasmine up from her slumber.She sits up and stretched her body lazily.She saw Cara was still asleep and her snores were loud enough to damage one’s ear.Just then,she heard someone knock on the door.She glance at Cara once again and sees the knock hadn’t waken her.She shook her head and sighs before sauntering off the bed to open the door.It was the room service.

“Good morning ma’am,hope you had a wonderful night”a young man that seems to be in his early twenties said with a bright smile,his thick dark hair reminded Jasmine of how young Matt had looked when they had first met.

“Yes I did,thank you”Jasmine said while also flashing him a smile.

“Mr Reed from the 2nd floor said to hand this over to you ma’am”The young man said and handed over two shopping bags to Jasmine.Jasmine wondered what was in the bag.She took it and thanked the young man before closing the door.When she turned back,she saw Cara yearning and stretching her body while she had sitted up.

“Good morning your highness”Cara said with her eyes still blinking like she couldn’t see well.

“Morning Cara”Jasmine said and walks over to her own bed.She sits at the edge and begins to take out what was in the bag as she stared curiously.

“What is that”Cara asked while standing up from the bed to come stand by where Jasmine sat.Jasmine didn’t answer right away,she brought out a floral peach colored dress with black underwear out of the bag.Her cheeks flushed when she sees how sexy the underwear looked and she wondered if Jace had picked out the clothes himself.She also wondered how Jace had known her favorite color if it was him who picked the dress for her but immediately assumed it to be a coincidence.The second bag had just casual t-shirt and a pair of jeans inside so she knew that must be Cara’s.

“Alpha Jace bought it for us to change into”Jasmine said and hands over the bag with the casual T-shirt and Jeans to Cara.

“He’s such a gentleman”Cara said while beaming.That made Jasmine flashed back to the time when Matt bought her a peach dress.She recalls how lovely and happy the moment was.He had sneaked into her room in the middle of the night to specifically give it her.She misses him,even though he hadn’t show her love anymore since few years ago but she knew he had actually loved and cared for her.Cara sees how sad Jasmine looked and immediately take a seat beside her.

“Your highness,I promise you everything will be alright”Cara said quietly to Jasmine.Jasmine hadn’t known when a tear had fallen from her face.She sniffs and wipe the tear off.

“Thank you Cara”Jasmine said while caressing Cara’s hands.

“I will go prepare your bath your highness”Cara said completely forgetting they weren’t in the mansion anymore.Jasmine chuckles and stands up.

“There’s no bath to prepare for Cara,here has no bathtub”Jasmine said and Cara nods in realization.

“I will go shower first”Jasmine said and begins to undress.Cara went over to the bathroom to grab the towel and hands it over to Jasmine.After undressing,Jasmine wraps the towel around her naked body and saunter to the bathroom.

After she had a nice refreshing bath,she came out and sees Cara had arranged her clothes alongside the body lotion she usually uses.

“Where did you get this”Jasmine motioned her hand to the body lotion.

“I figured you would need it so I ordered it along with your favorite perfume”Cara said while holding up the small canned perfume.

“You can’t order things unnecessarily Cara,it’s not in our place to”Jasmine said with furrowed brows.She doesn’t want to be shameless enough to spend Jace’s money lavishly.

“I’m sorry your highness”Cara said with her head bowed.She hadn’t thought of that and only thinks of the way her Queen would be comfortable.Jasmine doesn’t reply instead she walks over to the bed and picks up the body lotion.Since Cara had ordered already,she doesn’t see any reason not to use it.Cara stands up and wanted to assist Jasmine but she declined.

“I’m no longer the queen Cara,I can do this things myself and stop calling me your queen”Jasmine said and Cara only nods in understanding even though she would never listen to what Jasmine said.

Jasmine wore the underwear and then puts on the peach dress after.Cara smiled as she sees how beautiful her queen looked.She also gets up so she could go take her bath.

“Have ordered breakfast your highness”Cara said and Jasmine glared at her.

“Alpha Jace had told us to order anything you might need and I can’t let you starve your highness”Cara said and quickly go into the bathroom to avoid Jasmine’s cold gaze.

Shortly after,Jasmine heard a knock on the door and went to open it.It was a waiter who had come to deliver the food.Jasmine thanked him and close back the door when he left.Cara came out few minutes after with clothes on.She had taken the clothes along her to the bathroom and changed into it after taking her bath.Cara excitedly walks over to the tray of food that Jasmine had left as her own.

They both begin to eat as each of them were filled with thoughts.Jasmine had been thinking of how the mansion had been in her absence while Cara was thinking of the promise she made to Jasmine.The situation seems so bad and she wonders if she would ever get to fulfill that promise,if Jasmine will ever get to prove her innocence.
