Chapter 62

Jasmine boarded the elevator back to the 5th floor.Her mind still occupied with Jace’s words.She sighs and goes out of the elevator.Just when she was about to enter her room,she saw Rose,one of her in-ladies standing at the front of a room in the 5th not far from hers.She was going to quickly dash in but Rose saw her.

“Your highness”Rose called and Jasmine halted while holding the doorknob.She turned to face Rose who was walking briskly towards her.

“I’m not the queen anymore so please call me Jasmine”Jasmine said while forcing a smile on her lips.It’s quite embarrassing to meet with people she would rather not have anything to do with though Rose is different from the others.

“It’s surprising to meet you here,I mean I wasn’t expecting to see you here”Rose said while looking pitifully at Jasmine.

“Oh right,I have no right to stay in Nighthawk but don’t worry much about it,I’m leaving soon”Jasmine said.She was angry Rose had said that to her.

“No,please I didn’t mean it that way,I’m sorry”Rose said and Jasmine only nods.She was about to head inside when she heard Rose speak.

“I believe you”Rose said and Jasmine looks back at her.

“I don’t believe all the things every other people believe you to have done and I will like to help”Rose said.She had known everything to be a lie because she knew how soft Jasmine is to commite all the atrocities everyone believed she did.Jasmine only stared at her while thinking of what to say.

“Please let me help you”Rose said again while looking intently at Jasmine.

“Alright”Jasmine said and turns the doorknob.She goes inside and opens the door to allow Rose of entry.Rose follows Jasmine in and she closes the door behind her.She looks around the room while she walks slowly.

“You can sit here”Jasmine motioned to Cara’s bed.

“Oh,thank you”Rose flashed her a smile and went over to sit on Cara’s bed.

“Why do you want to help me”Jasmine said after she had sitted on the bed too.

“I couldn’t watch Alpha Matt going astray without him even realizing it and I know much you loved and cared for him so you would never do all those….things”She twist her mouth in distaste when she said that.Jasmine watched for a while before deciding to speak.

“How can I trust you”Jasmine asked,finding it hard to believe what Rose just said.

“How can I prove that to you your highness”Rose and Jasmine becomes speechless.She wonders if Rose could truly help her.Though Jasmine had known her as a reserved person but she hadn’t thought she will be of any help to her.When Rose sees Jasmine wasn’t saying anything,she tries to convince her more.

“I could go to the mansion every time to gather informations for you”Rose said.Jasmine reasons with it and nods.

“Okay I will try to believe you”Jasmine said and Rose smiles in return.

“So your highness,can you please chip me in on what actually happened”Rose said.Jasmine begins to explain everything to her.From what really happened seven years ago unlike the rumors the other have heard.

“Oh your highness,you must have been so hurt”Rose looks pitifully at Jasmine.

“I could only find a way out of all this,that is what I need to do and I will really appreciate it if you truly going to help out”Jasmine said.

“Count me in your highness”Rose and smiles reassuringly to Jasmine.

“What is your plan now”Rose asked.

“Well right now,the only reason you get to meet me here is because of someone and I know it’s crazy to trust that person but I have no one else”Jasmine said while thinking about it herself.Has she been out of her mind to require Jace’s help? Was it a bad decision?

“Who is that if I may ask”Rose said and wondered why Jasmine had talked about the person with furrowed brows.Was it someone she hated?

“It’s Alpha Jace of the Moon rising pack”Jasmine said and Rose’s mouth wildens.

“Yeah,I know it’s crazy but I could only try,have got not much choices at the moment and he seems to have repent”Jasmine explained,not that it was necessary.

“Well,if you trust him then I won’t question your instincts your highness”Rose said.

“Okay…”Jasmine said still with her brows furrowed.

“So I will go with him to the Moon rising pack with Cara and stay low for a while,I need to know what each of them is planning and I will need your help with that”Jasmine said Rose nods understandingly.

“Okay your highness,I will help with anything”Rose said.Just then,the door opens and Cara strides in.After realizing they had a guest,the smile she had plastered on her face fades.She wondered why Rose would be in the room with her queen.

“Miss…”Cara trails off.She was a little relieved it was Rose she knew her as gentle natured unlike other in-ladies.

“She’s here to help”Jasmine told the dumbfounded Cara who blinks twice in surprise.She wondered why Rose would chose to help them after all queen Jasmine had been tagged as.

“Oh…”she trails off again as she looks from Jasmine to Rose severally.She later goes to sit at the other end of her bed close to where Rose sat.

“I’m sorry I had to be named as that of your vile stepsister,it must be disturbing to you”Rose said apologetically.Jasmine had truly thought of it before.Why would such a good person also be named as of her sister’s.It’s very contradictory.

“Why would you apologize to that”Jasmine laughs it off.

“I’m really thankful to have met you here your highness”Rose said.

“Oh yes,I forgot to ask,what brought you here”Jasmine asked.

“You know,the garrulous attitude of my mother’s could push a man to their death and I had come here to have some peace,I booked a room and it’s on the 5th floor which led me to you”Rose said.She had chuckled when she talked about her mother.Jasmine understand how well how much hurtful Rose’s mother’s words could be.The conversation goes on till Rose asked to be excused while Cara on the other hand questions Jasmine on what she had missed before she came into the room.
