Chapter 71

He had a look of displeasure on when he had gotten the pleasure he wanted.Maybe if it was with another woman,he would have at least took her in a decent way but he could never bring himself to do that when it was just a lowlife witch.He got off her and draws up his trousers.He moved towards the side of the room where he had kept his wines,different ones for the mood he was in.He wanted to chose a wine but then stopped when he saw a whiskey can.He took it and turns to face Mina who was adjusting her clothes back to the way they were.Mina looked up and sees the whiskey can she had sipped from when he was away.

“You drink now”Jace said while holding up the can.

“I….You don’t expect me not to come up with a new habit when all you do is keep me locked here”Mina said confidently.She knew he would hurt her either way so she doesn’t give a care anymore.Jace let out a short laugh and lay the Can down on where he took it.

“You know Mina,I have a guest and I’m sure you know who it is,I’m gonna need you to be on your best behavior throughout her stay which is forever”Jace said and walks closer to her.

“I don’t want you sneaking in to her room like a little rat and I swear Mina,if I get to find out you have been using your little wand casting spells,I’m gonna end this…you know what I mean”he whispered to her while looking intently into her lucid eyes which is now breaming with tears on the corners threatening to fall.

“Oh don’t cry Mina,I thought you would have gotten used to us by now”Jace said and uses the tip of his finger to wipe the tears off.He turns away from her and goes back to where the wine was.He pours himself a glass and gulps down the content in a swift.He could feel Mina’s eyes boring into him from the back as he lay back the wine glass on the table.

Mina clenched her fist as she watches his back.She knows she should hate him but her heart isn’t agreeing with that.With how much he maltreated her,she had never for once thought of running away.She thought she could change him at first but then she found out the only way was to get his obsession out of the way.Mina takes slow steps back to her usual spot beside Jace’s bed.She bends and sits on the cold floor.

Jace takes a glance at her and a smile formed on his lips.

“Good girl”he said and shortly after,he left the room to sort some of his affairs.


Night came earlier than predicted.Jace had informed the kitchen to make the dinner that night elaborately.Since he had finally gotten to have Jasmine back into his abode,he thought of the dinner as celebration.

“Would you get me my trousers Mina,I’m growing lazy”Jace said while sitting up on the bed.He had just woken up from an evening nap and he wants to get ready for dinner.Mina stands up and goes to open the clothe rack.She picks out black jeans.

“No,I want the loose ones”Jace said pointing to the black loose trousers hung in the clothes rack.Mina did as he said and brought out the ones he wanted.Jace stands up from the bed and takes the trousers from her.He wears it and goes over to pick out a casual T-shirt.Mina had crossed her arms,watching him intently.

“Are you hungry for me yet again”Jace said while he puts on the T-shirt which hung tightly on his firm body.He turns to face her and raises his brows questioningly at her.Mina looks away and moves to sit back at her usual spot.Jace watches her for a while before leaving the room,locking the door behind him.

Mina waited for a while and after she sees that he had completely gone,she begins to cast a spell.She whispers spell words beneath her breath and within minutes,she vanished into thin air.

Jace hadn’t gotten to the dinning room before he remembered he had forgotten his little gift for Jasmine in his room.He walks back briskly and on getting there,he saw no sign of Mina in the room.His brows furrowed as he wonders where she had ran off to again.He goes over to the drawer of the cabinet beside his bed and draws it out.He saw the diamond earrings he had wanted Jasmine to have as to make it a first step of making her his Luna.

His mother had given him the earrings and she had told him to give them to the woman he finds suitable and he’s planning to hand it over to Jasmine that very night.He smiles satisfyingly as he takes it in it pouch.When he looks around the room again,he clenched his fists and plans a lot he would do to Mina when she comes back from her little trip.He wouldn’t let her escape the punishment he was planning.

He goes out of the room and stride towards the dinning room.When he got to the table,he sees Jasmine had not yet come out and he was the only one at the table.The maids wanted to start dishing out his food but he motioned for them to stop with his hand and a glare.He wanted the meals served after Jasmine had been sitted.He waited patiently as he kept his gaze on the entrance where he expected Jasmine to come from.

After almost an hour,he sees Jasmine coming towards the dinning,in all her glory.Cara stood firmly beside her like she was protecting her from the harm that is yet to open to her.Jace watches with interest as Jasmine passes him a smile.

“I’m sorry I kept you waiting”Jasmine said and took a seat.Cara takes a sit beside her while looking around the room to spot her new found lover.

“It’s okay,shall we dine”Jace said while flashing her the sweetest smile.While looking at Jasmine,he knew he wanted to keep her forever and he plans to.
