Chapter 25

Aurora's POV
“Thank you, Dante,” I said softly as we sat side by side on the couch, enjoying a quiet moment at home. Gratitude filled my heart, and I wanted him to know how much he meant to me.
Dante turned to me with a warm smile. “No need to thank me. I just did what I had to do for you,” he replied, his voice full of warmth. “I wanted you to feel happy and safe, especially now that we’re expecting our babies.”
I smiled, feeling the love and intimacy between us. “You went above and beyond, Dante. You gave me hope and a feeling I’ve never felt before. In every look at you, I felt the certainty that I wasn’t alone.”
Hearing my words, his eyes lit up, as if they understood my depths completely. “I promise to always be by your side, Aurora. For every step, every hardship, and every joy that we will go through together.”
Warmth filled my heart. This journey may not have gone according to plan, but everything that happened led me to unexpected beauty. With each passing second, I fell more in love with him—not just for who he was, but for the way he valued me and our journey.
With renewed determination, I felt confident about the future we would face together, looking forward to every beautiful moment that lay ahead—with Dante by my side, living a new life full of hope.
When I got home, I noticed the silence. The silence of the house made me think, and I couldn’t help but think about what would happen when my children were born. Of course, the house would be full of cries, laughter, and joy—three babies at once! It would be colorful.
“Why are you smiling to yourself?” Dante asked, his soft voice breaking my reverie.
“Oh, no,” I answered quickly, trying to hide the joy that filled my heart. “I was just wondering when our children would come, how would I take care of them?”
Dante smiled widely, looking at me lovingly. “It would be such an adventure. We would learn to take care of them together. Three babies would be so much fun,” he said, his smile growing heavier.
I nodded, feeling the excitement and support radiating from him. “Right. I’m imagining all the wonderful moments, but also a little bit panicked about how we’re going to manage it all. Three babies! There might be some tough times.”
“And that’s okay,” Dante replied, trying to reassure me. “We might not have all the answers, but we can share the tasks and support each other. And of course, we can seek help from family and friends when needed.”
Hearing his words gave me a sense of reassurance. He always made me feel better when I was worried. “You’re right, Dante. I can definitely count on you on this journey.”
“Always,” she said firmly. “And don’t forget, we can make it fun, too—play games, give them cute nicknames, and spend quality time together as a family. We’ll create beautiful memories.”
I smiled broadly at her eagerness to talk about our future. “Yes, I want all of that.” The thought of the life to come—love and happiness spread throughout our home—made me feel warm inside.
With each step we took together, I felt more and more ready to face this challenge. Now, in this quiet moment, I knew that our love would make it all possible, transforming this house into a home filled with happiness and the warm embrace of our three children.
Dante's POV
“Excuse me, sir. I think there’s a problem with our investor. He asked us to meet today,” my secretary said in a serious tone.
I frowned, feeling a wave of anxiety run through me. “What exactly happened?” I asked, trying to keep my voice calm. “There’s nothing wrong with our company, right?”
The secretary took a deep breath before continuing, “Most of the information I’ve gathered from the latest reports indicates that there are concerns from the investors regarding our company’s expansion plans. They may need a direct explanation to feel more confident about their investment prospects.”
A sense of tension crept up inside me. “Are there any further details we can prepare before the meeting?” I tried to remain focused and professional, even as anxiety began to gnaw at my mind.
“Yes, I’ve gathered some of the latest data and analysis on our expansion plans to present. But I think they may also need some confidence from us as a management team.”
“Okay, let’s get ready. I want to have all the best information ready before we meet them,” I replied, taking a deep breath. “We need to show that we are on the right track and that their investment is the right decision.”
After directing the secretary to prepare all the necessary materials, I felt a little calmer, although the coming moments would still be challenging. This meeting was not only about business but also about maintaining investor trust and ensuring the sustainability of the company.
In my mind, I began to design strategies and important points that needed to be conveyed in the meeting. Of course, this responsibility must be taken seriously, but I knew that we could work together as a team and face this challenge with confidence.
With new determination, I stepped into my office, ready to face whatever would happen in the meeting with the investors.
“Welcome to our company, Mr. Rey. Nice to meet you again,” I said, trying to greet his arrival with a friendly attitude even though my heart was filled with anxiety.
“Yes, I will not say much. I just want to say that I want to withdraw my shares because my profits have decreased,” replied Mr. Rey in a firm tone.
His words hit me like a thunderbolt in broad daylight. Panic and helplessness immediately clouded my mind. “Mr. Rey, I understand your concerns, but let me explain the current state of the company and the steps we are taking to restore profitability,” I said, trying to stay calm.
