Chapter 67

Aurora's POV
As we all left the restaurant, I knew that all the challenges we had faced—and the memories that continued to follow me—had brought us here: an opportunity to create a new life full of love and hope. In my beating heart, I could only be grateful and hopeful that our journey ahead would be even more beautiful, while holding onto the hope of a bright future for my entire family.
After leaving the restaurant, we walked home with a warm feeling of happiness, even though we were also starting to feel tired after a day of activities. The sound of children's laughter still echoed in my mind, and the beautiful memories of this night will always be stored in my heart.
When we arrived home, Roland, Ronald and Roline had fallen asleep on the way to the door. Dante and I gently carried them one by one and carried them to their rooms. Seeing their peaceful faces as they slept made me feel a deep sense of gratitude again. They had been through so much, and seeing them rest peacefully was the best thing I could have ever seen.
However, as we headed to the bedroom, I realized that Cherry was still awake. The little baby watched with bright eyes, looking excited even though she should have been ready for bed. “Hi, Cherry! Have you been waiting long?” I said softly, already sensing that she wanted to feel cared for.
I carried Cherry to the room, trying to make her feel comfortable. It turned out that Dante was still awake. He sat on the edge of the bed, looking at me with a warm smile as he watched me carry Cherry. “She looks like she still wants to have fun,” Dante said, directing his gaze to our little girl’s face.
“Looks like we’ll be playing together tonight,” I replied with a smile. I then placed Cherry on a large pillow near me and began to tease her with my game. Cherry chuckled, a twinkle in her eye.
The night was filled with laughter and little games. I wiggled my fingers and made funny noises, and Cherry looked so happy. Dante joined us, sometimes making silly faces and forcing me to laugh. Moments like this made me feel grateful for our little family.
Seeing Cherry smiling and laughing, it felt like all the hardships and challenges we had faced in our life journey had paid off. A night filled with happiness and heartwarming hugs.
“Cherry, you are so loved, you know that?” I said softly, touching her cheek. “We will all always be here for you.”
Cherry gave me a priceless, cute smile, and I felt connected to our little girl so strongly. Even though my day had been long and challenging, it was the simple moments like these that were the most important and I will always remember.
Finally, when the games were over and Cherry started to show signs of sleepiness, I lay down beside her and rocked her gently, helping her close her eyes. With Dante beside me, I felt the love and happiness flowing through our family. We were a strong team, ready for whatever came, and that night was a perfect reminder of the richness of love we have.
After much consideration, I finally decided that it was time to send my triplets to school. I felt that they needed to socialize and learn with their peers. Education is an important part of childhood, and I wanted to give them the same opportunities as other children.
I looked for the right school, one that had a comfortable and safe environment, and good teaching. After doing research and visiting several schools, I finally found a school that matched the values I wanted—a school that gave attention and love to each of its students.
When the first day of school arrived, there was a mixture of happiness and anxiety in my heart. When I explained about their new school, Roline seemed hesitant and a little scared. “Mom, what if I don’t have any friends?” she asked in a low voice, her eyes looking at me with concern.
Seeing her fear, I tried to encourage her. “Roline, you will find new friends there, and you feel very excited. Remember, you are not alone, there are Roland and Ronald who will take care of you too,” I replied, trying to calm her down.
Roline still looked worried, but when she saw her two older brothers, Roland and Ronald, they assured her enthusiastically, “We will be together, Roline! We promise to take care of you and accompany you,” they said. Hearing the encouraging words from her brothers made her a little more relaxed, as if she felt strong support around her.
Finally, I took them to their new school. When they stepped inside, I could see the excitement in them. I hoped that they would be able to adapt quickly to the new environment. After a while apart, I felt a calm heartbeat when I saw them playing happily in the playground, interacting with other children.
I knew that this step would be an important part of their development. Although anxiety was always there, I was sure that they were surrounded by love and attention from the people around them. On the other hand, I also promised to always accompany them and listen to every story they shared.
A few weeks passed, and I saw how well they adapted. Roline began to feel more confident thanks to the support from Roland and Ronald. My three children brought back many new stories, recounting fun moments at school, and the smiles on their faces made me feel proud.
“Thank you, Mom, for sending us to school!” they exclaimed in unison one afternoon when they came home. A sense of pride and happiness filled my heart, strengthening my belief that this was the right decision.
Seeing them grow into confident and happy individuals reminded me that despite the challenges, as long as we are together, we can face everything better. And most importantly, I was happy to see them find their place in a new and exciting world.
