Chapter 77
Aurora's POV
“Are you ready to enter a new adventure at home?” I asked, smiling widely. Roland and Roline nodded enthusiastically. Their smiles gave me new energy and hope.
Facing this challenge is not easy, but amidst all the difficulties, I know that family love is the greatest strength we can have. And with these small steps, I hope to give them the best and protect them from the pain they have experienced.
When Dante came home from work, the atmosphere at home was immediately filled with joy. “What are you doing?” he asked, a wide smile on his face as he saw the children running towards him. They immediately jumped up to hug their father enthusiastically.
I felt touched by the moment. “We are having a great time at home. I have decided not to send them to school for a while until we find a better place,” I said to Dante. “The children need to feel safe and happy after everything that has happened.”
Dante nodded understandingly. “That is a wise decision, honey. The most important thing is that you all feel comfortable. We will find the best way to move forward,” he replied softly, making me feel supported.
With the atmosphere calmer, the children returned to play, while Dante and I had the opportunity to share stories about our respective days. It felt like a much-needed relief after the various problems that had pressed before.
That night, when the children finally went to bed, Dante and I went through a quiet night. It had been a long time since we had had time to make love and make love to each other due to the various busyness and problems we had faced. Now, I felt a new sense of hope.
“Tonight seems like the right time for the two of us,” I said with a smile, looking at him lovingly.
As we designed a romantic atmosphere in the house, a sense of closeness emerged again. We began to talk softly, laugh, and reminisce about the beautiful moments we had been through. Christmas, which we had to go through and other celebrations became the background of memories in my prayers.
Dante took my hand, rubbing the back of it gently. “We’ve been through a lot, and I’m so grateful to have you,” he said, looking into my eyes with love.
We moved closer to each other, warm hugs and soft kisses flowing with each passing second. It felt like all the problems we had receded, replaced by a feeling of genuine love.
“Thank you for being strong and never giving up,” I whispered, realizing how important our roles were to each other in maintaining this household.
That night was a precious moment for us, when we could feel close again, sharing love and intimacy that may have faded due to the challenges that came alternately. In each other’s arms, we felt we found strength to face all that was to come. And with genuine love, we ensured that our family would continue to support and love each other endlessly.

When the phone rang and my father’s voice sounded panicked, “Aurora, come here quickly!” my heart immediately started beating faster. “What’s wrong, Dad?” I asked, with anxiety starting to fill my mind.
“There’s something important. Come here with your children immediately!” Hearing my father’s stuttering voice, I felt tension that made my whole body tremble. Without thinking, I immediately told Dante about the situation.
“Dante, we have to go to my parents’ house now. Dad sounds panicked!” I said, trying to calm myself even though I was worried.
He responded immediately, and within minutes we were in the car, driving towards my parents’ house. The tension in the car felt heavy; I kept wondering what could have happened. Was something wrong with my mother? Or maybe something worse?
Every second felt so slow as we drove. The children in the back seemed to sense this tension, and I tried to stay calm in front of them, praying that everything would be okay.
When we arrived at my parents’ house, the atmosphere inside was tense. Several family members had gathered, and my mood was getting more and more uncertain. I quickly stepped inside and looked for my father. “Dad! What happened?” I asked, my voice full of worry.
“Here, Aurora. There’s something we need to talk about…” Dad explained, looking at me seriously. My heart started to beat faster, and as everyone gathered, I felt the atmosphere grow tense.
“There’s news from the doctor about Mom,” my dad continued, my heart skipping a beat. “Her condition has worsened, and we’re racing to get her the best treatment.”
Tears began to well up in my eyes, and I felt weak. “What do you mean, Dad? What happened to Mom?” I asked, my voice shaking.
“Mom needs more intensive care, but we don’t know if she’ll get better therapy yet,” my dad replied, his voice strong even though I could see the worry in his eyes.
Hearing this news, I felt like I was thrown into a whirlwind of emotions. All the fears and losses that had haunted me came flooding back. In a situation like this, I just wanted my mother to get better, and for all the bad things that happened to stop for a moment.
Amidst the turmoil of feelings, I tried to be there for my family. “We will face this together,” I said, trying to make sure that the children understood the situation well even though my heart was in turmoil. They should know that they are not alone in all of this.
With my hands tightly clasped, I tried to calm myself down. Once again thinking about each other’s strength and support during these difficult times. I hope that, in the midst of all this, we can find a path to hope and courage to keep moving forward—for my mother, for each other, and for our family.
As the atmosphere in the living room became increasingly tense, suddenly I heard my mother’s soft voice calling me. “Aurora, honey…” A warm and affectionate call made me rush to her. Her face looked calmer and more peaceful, although her gaze suggested that there was something very important that she wanted to convey.
