Mariam

“Girl you were on fire,damn.” Clara said to me.

“Yes you are right,I am done with the cool girl stuff and couldn't control myself anymore,like what the fuck is wrong with her? Why is she picking on me.” I said to Clara.

"She fears you but one thing I know,we are strong,I can't believe our powers has been locked for a while.” Clara stated and I smiled because everything ended well.

I brought out my phone and looked at Sylvester picture,he was looking really handsome and I liked it,“I know it hurts,he will stop hating you.”

“I know he really loves me then but I am his step sister you know,there is no way we can be together.” I said with assurance of the truth even if he doesn't wish to see the truth in what I am saying.

“Come on Mariam,his mother must have brain washed him and he doesn't care about his feelings for you anymore,what he cares about is making sure you don't take the throne from him.” Clara also made me see reasons in other ways.

"Why are they so obsessed with the throne anyway? Like what I know is this, whoever is meant for the throne will be decided once we are done with college.” I added.
“Don't worry,things will be fine soon.”

I rested on the bed to sleep a little because I had a long day at school today.

I heard my father was having a meeting about some new development and I didn't know why I decided to walk pass his waiting room he normally receives his guest.

I heard a familiar voice from behind,“Mariam,Mariam! Is that really you?” I turned around and it happened to be Dave.

"Dave!!” I said out of suprise and he rushed to me giving me a tight hug.

"I have missed you Mariam, I thought I will never see you again and yes I am so angry with you but I couldn't resist hugging you.” He said and I felt so happy but something strange happened,my wolf form was happy and jumping,"Mate" How is this possible? I thought the triplet was my mate and not Dave?

He stopped hugging me immediately and took a few steps back,“How? You are my mate but how? You were a human but I smell wolf blood running through your veins?”

“It's a long story you know and I will tell you more about it but right now,I really want to do this again since the last time you did it to me.” I said to him with my eyes fixed on his lips,I remembered the kiss we had on my prom.

I kissed him,like I made the move to kiss Dave and my heart raced for him,I guess I will have a happy ending after everything.

Father came in and we stopped immediately acting like nothing happened,"I am sorry Alpha Aiden,I didn't mean to kiss her and I deserve to be punished kissing a girl in your home when I got a betrothed.”

He went on his knees immediately and I wondered why he said those words,“I am sorry father.”

I expected a scolding from father but instead he smiled which really confused me and Dave.

"Father,you are smiling?”

"Yes I am,come on Dave stand on your feet,you did nothing wrong and I am happy you like my daughter already.”
“Your daughter? Mariam is your daughter?” Dave questioned standing on his feet and he nodded his head.

"Father you mean Dave here is the nightwalker I am to marry?”

"Yes,you are right and I feel better knowing you two love each other,I can see it in your eyes,you know what,let me leave you be,I will talk you to Dave later,have fun.” My father said before leaving and I found it so strange.

“Your father is the Almighty Alpha and you never told me? Like you fooled every one of us and I thought you were a human then.” He said with his voice being sad.

"I am sorry Dave, it's actually a long a story but I will tell you everything,I didn't lie to you and I never knew I was a werewolf till I turned 18.” I tried to explain things to him and he agreed to give me listening ears.

Jane came out from no where to hug Dave,"Dave,you came,I didn't see you at my eighteen birthday.”

“I am sorry Jane but you shouldn't be doing this,my wife to be is here and I don't wish to hurt her feelings,can you not hug me this close?” He said to her and I almost laughed out loud seeing the look on her face.

"What do you mean? I am your wife to be.”

"The custom state that I get married to the Alpha first female child.” She got so angry and faced me,“Mariam,it's not over yet,I will make you regret the day you step foot here.” She left and Dave was trying to warn her not to talk to me with that tone but I stopped him,“Don't stress yourself Dave,she is my step sister and I am used to her.”

"Hum,I guess the story must be really long, let's go somewhere to talk far from here.” He said to me and I smiled saying,“Sure,that will be better so we won't get interrupted by them.” I smiled and walked with Dave to his car.

Dave took me to a place I had no idea existed in Moon City,the restaurant looks a little bit local with the setting they place but trust me when I said their meal is topnotch.

While eating,he was just staring at me and I smiled,I should have know I am the only woman in Dave's heart since I was in Dranovile


“I never knew my parents from day one,I stayed with my grandma who brought me to Dranovile and left me when I started working as a maid with the triplet.”

"You worked as a maid with the triplet? This explains why you were so scared of them and never wanted me involve in your affairs with them.”He said with no smile on.

A few hours later after telling Dave everything,I could see the anger boiling in his eyes.

“God help me if I don't kill those triplet with my hands.” He said with his fist tigtened.

“Don't worry, I have plans in getting my revenge.”

"I am so sorry you went through all these pains with no one knowing,I am truly sorry.” He said to me and I smiled saying,“It's okay,is there an hotel close by,I really want to say so many things you know and every thing I missed,do you still have Cindy contact?”

“Yes I do, can't believe my little one is now an adult and can sleep out,well I will take you to the best hotel,so you can discuss your plans with me.” I smiled at him.

We left the place heading to the hotel with him and I messaged my father I won't be coming home saying I have so much to catch up with Dave making him know I will be safe with him.

At the hotel,we went to the club section to party hard a little and took some good wine as well,I will say everything is fun when you are with the right person.

I told him the plans I have for the Triplet and he bought the idea knowing they won't see things coming.

"Mariam,I want you to know this,I have always loved you and with what you told me,give me the opportunity to protect you and make you happy as well.”

"I love you too Dave.” I replied with a smile.

“Do you mean what you just said?”

"Yes I do.” I replied and in minutes,I was already in his arms and our lips together as he carried me to the room.

He took off his shirt revealing the tattoo on his body making him look so hot and irresistible as well,he took off my clothes gently as well and when he was about touching me,I remembered how I was bullied and rape,I stoped him,“Please don't rape me,stop please.”

"Mariam it's me Dave,I can't rape you.” I later realize I was with Dave,I guess my trauma hasn't left me yet.

Even when I tired to make out with guys at school,I always end up pushing them off me.

"I am sorry,my past,I can't get past it.” I busted into serious tears and he held me close saying,“You will be my wife soon and I am willing to wait and help you overcome the trauma of your past okay?”

“Thank you Dave.”

"It's okay,now let's go to bed so you get enough rest.” I rested on his chest and felt so comfortable and wished never to leave his side.
