Writer's POV

The following morning, Mariam woke up and found Jett sleeping next to her,she smiled but it lasted for a minute.

She regretted falling victim with her sinful cravings, why will she be having sex with someone who bullied her when she ought to just be taking revenge for what he did to her, moreover,he was the one who raped her.

She stepped out of the car and wore her dress properly. She looked around,the body of those killed were missing,how did this happen?

She woke up Jett angrily saying,“Wake up you jerk.”

Jett woke up and seeing her face was kind of scary,he had to keep his good intentions aside.

“Good morning my queen.”

“What's good about the morning? The bodies are no where to be found,and you dare seduce me to make love to you right? You had this all planned from the very beginning,tell me.” She attacked him with words as she appeared like an angry bird to Jett.

“I am sorry,I couldn't get a hold of myself and because of my carelessness, someone took the bodies away, punish me immediately.” He said going on his knees.

“Acting all good all of a sudden,where is the cold hearted monster character you once had hum? Yes I am going to punish me and I will not hesitate,get me your phone now,I need to call Dave to get me out of here.”

“I can get a taxi and we will both go home,there is no need to call him.” He said.

“Wow,that boldness, because we fucked last night,you think you have control over me right? You better wake up from those dreams immediately,your phone.” She shouted at him again.

He gave her his phone after unlocking it just to call Dave. She told Dave about what happened and be promised her he is going to be with her in the next twenty minutes.

She refused talking to Jett and maintained a distance while waiting for Dave.

A few minutes later,Alpha Dave got present with them and she hugged him saying,“I almost got killed last night.”

“How do you feel? I am glad you were with Alpha Jett who saved you,but why didn't you call me last night?” Dave asked immediately he finished hugging and caressing her,Jett viewing all these got extremely jealous.

“Well,you see,it was rainy heavily and what came to my mind was just looking for a place to sleep for the night,anyway,that's all past now,take me home,I need to take my bath and find out some things.” She requested and Dave agreed.
Jett about to enter the car with her she stopped him,“Where do you think you are going?”

“Entering the car with you guys.” He replied.

“And who told you,you could come with us? Your punishment is to come home yourself,how dare you try to come with me?”

“I am sorry.”

“Sorry for yourself,and don't let me wait to long at home,make sure you get home quick.” She entered and Dave smiled saying,“Wow,never knew you got those vibes.”
“Just take me home.” She rested properly on the chair with her fingers going through her hair.

Jett got angry and used his anger to hit the trees close by,“I know I did wrong but how did she become so cold hearted? I caused this,I should have been nice with her,I thought things will go smoothly this morning but instead,to her the sex was just for fun but to me,it meant everything to me.” He roared out his anger and felt sharp pains at the place he got shut,he checked it and what he used in stopping it got soaked with blood.

He stepped out and took a taxi to the estate and placed a little demand for the car to be taken away from where it got ruined.

Alpha Axel and Diesel wondered why Jett didn't return home,they didn't realize last night they returned but the next morning.

About to place a call,Jett walked to the room,“Brother,what happened? Why didn't you return home last night?” Diesel inquired

“We got attacked on our way home last night and the car was in ruin.” he replied taking off his shirt.

“What? How did this happen? ”

“I knew it will happen but cold headed Mariam won't believe me,she is dining with the enemy herself.” He collapsed to the ground immediately.

“Jett are you okay?” They questioned and carried him to the bed,“He got shut,this is no ordinary bullet.” Axel said.

“We need to take it out so he can trigger his healing, something tells me he endured all night because of Mariam.”

“That's our brother for us,he can take in pains without letting others to be aware.”

With the help of one of the pack nurses present, they were able to take the bullet of,he screamed when this happened but immediately,his healing process took place by itself.

“Welcome back to the word of the living.” Diesel said.

“Must be so annoying Diesel?”

“Brothers hand shake anf hug.” Axel added and they did their usual shake and hugs.

“No matter what,let's protect Mariam our mate and also let's try not to die.” Axel concluded with them and they all agreed.

Jett got informed about what his brothers found out about and he advised they tell Mariam about it immediately so she can inform her father to take immediate actions.

“I will inform her,you two take your rest.” Axel stood up and they agreed.

Walking out of the room,he thought about how he once craved for Mariam lips,he also remembered how he got so angry at her for allowing Dave kissing her. Now Dave has access to her and he doesn't,he can only get jealous quietly and won't be able to express it out.

Mariam POV

Dave kissed me before I walked to the bathroom to have my bath. I turned on the shower before scrubbing my body with the sponge after adding a little soap,I touched the mark on my neck and I remembered the day Jett marked me as his.

I tried to focus but the sex kept on playing in my head and I found myself caressing my boobs,I craved for more touch and the sinful thing is that,I desire to have the four men at the same time,what kind of wide memory am I having.

I finally stepped out of the bathroom,wearing my clothes Dave held me from behind kissing me slowly without stopping.

“Come on,we can't be doing this now.” I giggled then a knock came at the door, I guess it's Axel.

“I have a feeling Axel must have gotten some clue, let's have a word with him.” I finished with my clothes and his face changed,I remember how they always end up arguing, but something tells me the two of them might become best of friends someday.

I allowed Axel to my room and he greeted as usual,“So did you and Diesel find anything relating to the killer?”

“Yes we did,there is a particular young kid that saw what transpired that very day,I believe he might know the killer.” I got excited to know finally,I am going to catch the killer.

“So tell me,what did the kid say? Any names or description?”

“No,he refuse to tell us,he ran away from us and the family begged us to not disturb them with their peaceful life.” He added and I understand the family very well,they will be scared to the grave.

“That's because you suck at your work.” Dave said to him.

“Excuse you,I wasn't speaking to your Dave,so why don't you mind your business.”

“Why will I mind my business when the person involved is my woman hum? Do you have a death wish.”

“Are you trying to get on my nerves? I won't think twice of what I will do to you.” I watched them both as they argued with words.
What am I going to do with these two right now?

They are not helping matters at all,it got to the point they almost went physical when I noticed their wolf eyes were out.

I made use of my authority to silent them by roaring so loud,“Enough you both and get out this minute.”

They both submitted to my authority and left at once.

“That's the queen.” Clara said to me.

“Finally,someone agreed.” I smiled and walked out of my room to inform my father about the new development that was when I sighted Beta Elvis talking to himself,I worried because he doesn't look like himself.

I got closer and he kept saying,“I know I was here,I definitely have seen her.” What is he talking about?

“Uncle,are you okay?” He finally stopped and tried to act normal,“I am sorry,I am feeling completely lost ever since I met with someone but don't worry about me,where is your father,we got some bad news.” he said and I wasn't happy about it, why bad news all the time when I am the new Queen?
