Writer's POV
“Mabel, do you think we are joking when we told you we never want to see you again? Are you trying to see what we can do to you?" Diesel asked angrily, and Axel stopped him.
"Let's not waste our energy on her; let's go home; it's late." Axel said.
"Can I come with you three? I kind of miss the way you always sneak me into the house in the past." She smiled at them.
"Get lost" Jett said and he pushed her with his wolf strength, and she ended up hitting her head since he knows she can heal very quickly, but she acted like she was still in pain, and she took a particular herb to slow down her healing process.
"Jett,you shouldn't have done that,now we can't leave her in such a mess, and look,she is not healing,maybe she is weak." Axel roared at his brother.
"I don't care if she is dead. Let's just go home."
"She is still a Golden Member even if she left with another; she never broke the link with the family. Have you forgotten? Let's get her home so you can treat her." Axel said to Jett.
"Hell no,I will never make use of these blessed hands to treat that monster." Axel said, walking out angrily.
"Don't worry, let's just take her home, and I am very sure he is going to treat her." Diesel just tried to calm Axel, and he placed Mirabel in his car and drove home.
While Axel was driving, he kept looking at her through the mirror, looking at her cute lips, and remembering how they kissed and made love,telling each other promises she failed to keep.
"No,I shouldn't be thinking about her, ever." He increased the speed of his car while Mabel gave an evil smirk as she communicated with her wolf, “It worked. Now we are going to be living with our mates and chasing Mariam away."
Mariam was already resting in her room and had no idea the brothers were back, and she had already made dinner.
Jett was the first to come home, and he dashed to his room, hitting the wall so hard, “I hate that girl."
He was able to calm himself when he remembered the kiss he had with Mariam and the love making; he had never enjoyed such an event before, and now they share the same bond. He didn't know how to tell his brothers that he had marked her, and that was really frustrating.
Axel came to his room, “I know none of us want her to stay with us, but consider helping a pack member and not our ex-lover."
"Fine,you got me, brother, and you owe me for this." He finally accepted, and Axel smiled at him and told him thank you.
"Okay, you both look like a couple now. While you treat her,I will inform Mariam to serve us dinner." Diesel said he was heading to Mariam's room.
Jett has been blessed with healing abilities as an Alpha, which is kind of rare. He took his first aid kit and headed to the living room.
He sat close to Mabel and asked her, “Does it hurt?"
“Yes, a little." She replied.
"Why don't you trigger your healing process?" He asked her.
"I tried, but I am kind of weak, and I have never felt this pain in my entire life." She said it with fake tears, thinking Jett would be moved by it, but it was all in vain.
"That's great,so if I attack again,you are going to die for real, right?" He said, bringing out his claws, but Axel quickly stopped him. "Jett no."
"Come on, brother,I wasn't going to hurt her. I was just playing with her like she is playing with us." He laughed, and Mabel knew that the hatred he has for her is so deep and will make it so difficult to make him like her again.
“Okay, but no hurting her, okay?"
"Okay."
He smiled and got ready to clean her wounds, finally covering the spot with a little plaster, “are you going to leave now? Because there is no way you are going to sleep here."
"Please have pity on me; you know I am so weak right now, and I don't know what other pain I am going to feel."
"And who cares if you feel more pain or die of it? I don't wish to worry about what is going to happen to you; all I care about is that you get out of our house and go to hell." He yelled at him.
"Jett,what happened to you? I know deep down you are still caring; please stop hating me and forgive me." She said, holding his hands, and he smiled, saying, “Do you really think you can seduce me into letting you stay? You thought wrong." He added and held her hands tight, making her feel a little pain. “There is nothing you will do or say to me that is going to ever make me want to accept you in my life,not even my mother."
"Your eyes still look as charming and attractive as ever." She gave a faint smile, and Jett was quiet for a little while.
Mariam came down the stairs to get their dinner served, and she delayed because she made use of the restroom.
She was shocked to see them in that position, and when she noticed her blood was boiling,she diverted to the kitchen.
“Clara, what do you think happened? Are they back again?"
"I guess so. Maybe they really love her so much, and since she was their first,there is no way he is going to let her go easily." Clara said, and she confirmed it to be true: “My grandma once told me that when you have your first love and it breaks up,no matter the distance,when you meet again,you will surely want to get together.'
"That's good, but still, I don't feel comfortable about it all." Clara added.
"Jett is a total jerk. How dare he mark me by mistake? I know he did it just to make my life miserable."
She got the food served and headed to the dining room. Mabel purposely forced her way to kiss Jett so Mariam could see it, and Jett became weak again. He could not stop the kiss; instead he continued.
