At the late Alpha Collins home, everyone was present same with Sylvester and his mother.

Alpha Aiden sat with his wife immediately he finished telling his daughter to talk with the new found daughter of late Alpha Collins.

“Alpha Aiden,what about our son Sylvester,for a long time you have been dodging this very conversation.” Queen Rebecca said with seriousness.

“Rebecca,this isn’t the right time to have this conversation and you know it,so let’s focus on the reason we are here and when we get home we talk about it.”

“No Aiden,let’s talk about it now because I know you so well,you won’t want to talk about it when we get home,you will either come up with so many excuses no to have this conversation.” She replied angrily and Alpha Aiden hating argument,took a deep breath saying,“Okay fine,you win, tell me what you wish to say.”

“What happens to our son now?”

“I don’t get what you mean by that,did anything happen to our son that I have no idea about?”

“Stop acting like you have no idea about what I am talking about.” She tried to control her anger so others won’t find out about the discussion.

“My queen,if I know what you are talking about,I won’t be asking you and I hate seeing you worked up,just talk to me.” He held her hands and caressed it.

“You made your daughter the Queen,what happens to our son now? You know he has worked hard since his childhood days to get ready to take the crown.”

“That’s not a big deal,I can make him the second in command after my daughter,also he is still my son and will get respected out there.”

“I see you don’t have a bright future for our son,I will be leaving soon when you wish to make me happy, you will grant my heart desire by making my son king.” She stood up and refused to wait when the Alpha pleaded.

The beta noticed the mood of his friend,he sat down with him,“Another argument?”

“Yes,I can’t remember the last time I had a good conversation without a fight with Rebecca.”

“Well this is a public place e,let’s not allow others to know what is happening in your home.”

“You are right,so any news about the culprit?” Aiden continued his discussion with his Beta.

While this was going on, Sylvester met with Rita after Mariam left her.

“You are such a good actress,like how did you do it?”

“I told you that I am a dangerous bitch,I will be close to her that she will not see my strike coming.”

“I love you already so tell me,is the plan still happening? Will you still threaten her with death?” Sylvester asked quietly so others will not hear.

“It has started already, do you see her anywhere?”

“No I don’t, but hope she won’t meet death today just the threat.”

“Yes, just the threat.” She gave an evil smirk. When she saw one of the beta from other packs coming to approach her,she resumed her act again.

“Thank you so much Alpha Sylvester for your kind words.”

“Anytime, just stay strong always and I will be here if you need anything.” Sylvester played along.

With all these happening,Jett had a bad feeling about the gathering and he shared with his brothers,” I want to believe Diesel brother, Mariam step brother is not to be trusted.”

“You make so much sense Jett but Mariam will never believe anything that comes from our mouth.” Axel added.

“If she doesn’t want to hear us speak then let’s protect her, that’s the least we can do.” Diesel suggested and they all bought the idea.

Jett looked at Rita and saw her eyes connection with Sylvester, “There is something weird about her, only one way to find out.” He said to himself taking a walk then he realise Mariam was absent.

He looked around and could not find her, the last person he saw Mariam talking to was Rita so he approached her.
“Sorry for your lost.”

“Thank you,I don’t think I know you.” Rita said.

“My identity is not important right now, did you by chance see Alpha Mariam? You were the last person she spoke with.”

“Oh, she went that way.” Rita pointed.

“Thank you.”

He took the path and Rita developed a crush on him,“ is freaking hot, I must say.”

“Mariam!!” he called her name but no response.

He mind link with his brothers to tell the Alpha that something might have happened to Mariam.

He tracked her smell to the woods and saw her lifeless on the ground,he rushed to her, “Mariam, say something, Mariam!!!.”

At the Aiden home, Mariam was placed on the bed with the pack doctor diagnosing her.

“Is she going to be fine?” Aiden asked with fear.

“Yes she will be fine but this is strange, she got injected with something I have never came across with before, she will need days to recover her wolf self again.”

“What do you mean doctor? Wolf like us can’t get harmed.”

“The substance used on her can, I am afraid if the substance is also used on you,It will have same effect, my advise is for your daughter to be more careful, maybe this was also used on Alpha Collins, that’s why he was killed easily.” The doctor also advised.

A few moments later, Sylvester left the house to meet with Rita at her chicken store with a bottle of champagne.

“lets celebrate.” He said with happiness written all over his face.

“I see you are excited for just a little fun I had with her.”

“Yes, I am, everyone at home is worried and scared for her safety you know, even the doctor is surprise as well.” He added opening the bottle of champagne and turning it to fill both glasses.

“Let’s cheers to more achievements together.” Rita said and they cling their glass cup together.

They both emptied the glass cup and took another round again, “So tell me,what the next plan?”

“I want them to chase shadows while I get closer to Mariam and also it’s time for you to be recognized as well.” She added.

“How do you mean?”

“I mean you will be the heartbeat of the pack members soon enough and a division will be made, all I need is your patience.”

“I believe your words so I will be patient and get my crown.”



*Dranovile*

At Dranovile Mabel grew restless, everyone returned home to Dranovile except for her lovers the triplet, she wondered if the new Alpha already engaged them with a post or something.

“A call shouldn’t be a problem right? Why haven’t they called me or returned my calls and texts messages? I will inform their mother immediately.” She said to her self and dialed the Triplet mother stepping out from their mansion then she saw an old lady.

“Good day miss.”

“Good day, how can I help you old lady?”

“I am sorry but do you live here?”

“Yes I do, I am the Triplet wife to be, who are you?”

“My identity doesn’t matter, there is a maid that works here, can I see her?”

“You mean Mariam?”

“Yes, please may I speak with her?” She asked politely.

“Mariam the annoying maid? She is probably dead.”

Tears gathered in her eyes, “What happened to her? How did she die?”

“Listen old woman, I don’t have the energy to answer your question, are you are grandma or aunty or what? Please get out of my sight.” She pushed the woman to the ground walking out angrily.

“Mariam can’t be dead,what will I tell Queen Nora when I finally meet my death.” She kept on crying.
