I opened my eyes slowly and noticed I was in a strange room, the whole place was entirely different, where am I? What happened to me?
“Finally, you are awake.” I heard a familiar voice, why is Dave in a bedroom with me? What is he doing here?
I managed to sit properly and after a few seconds, I was able to get myself.
“Where am I? How did I end up here?” I questioned looking around, and I felt a sharp pain in my head.
“Ouch.” Dave quickly placed his hands on my head,“Does it still hurt?”
“I am fine, tell me why am I here? What happened to me? How come I can't remember what happened to me?”
“I came looking for you at the spot I left you, but you were not there, I got worried thinking something bad must have happened to you, then I heard you scream.”
“ I rushed and saw you unconscious, I assumed maybe you slipped, so I had to bring you to my home.” He explained.
“When you saw me, did you see anything that was strange? Like an animal ?”
“None, it was just you, why do you ask? Do you expect an animal to be there?”
“Nah, I don't, thank you so much, what's the time?”
“This is just 3pm,I brought this for you to eat. I suck at cooking, but you need to take in food and these pills as well to feel better, it seems you hit your head too hard.”
I wish every other guy could be this caring, Dave is truly a good friend everyone ought to have in his or her life.
“Thank you, Dave, for helping me out, I will not forget to return this favor in the future.”
“Oh come on, that's what friends do, right? If you see me in danger, you will also want to help me, right?”
“You are right.” I giggled.
I ate the Spinach and Sausage Lasagna that he served to me, then took the medicine.
“I feel better already, it works like magic.”
“I am your superman from now henceforth.” he added, trying to show his muscles, I couldn't help it but to laugh out.
“You are so funny.”
“I have been willing to ask you, what's your relationship with the Golden brothers?”
Oh no, I almost forgot that I work as a maid and damn it, I haven't prepared lunch for them, I am so dead today.
I can't let Dave know I live and work for them, if he knows I am a maid, he might stop talking to me.
“OMG, I need to get going, there is something urgent I must do.”
“I see you don't want to talk about it, but I won't force you anyway, so should I take you to the place you have something urgent to do?” He asked with a smirk.
“Oh no, thank you for your kindness, but I must be there on my own.” I replied.
“Okay, if you say so, I will show you the way out, and I hope some other time, you can pay me a visit.” He smiled at me.
I don't want Dave to have issues because of me with the Golden brothers, they are so heartless, I will handle this myself and make sure my friends don't get involved.
Dave must be rich, his house is also as beautiful as the Golden brothers, it seems we got more rich boys in Dranovile than where I am coming from.
“Okay bye.”
“See you at school on Monday.” I entered the taxi he stopped for me and gave him the description of where I was heading to.
I arrived at the mansion and rushed inside, praying to God that I should not get hit by the Golden brothers.
Furthermore, I entered inside and saw the three of them watching a movie with their girlfriends. I recognize the girls fully then, they are in their first year in college, but they always act like a boss to the high school students.
Gosh, they know I am a maid, won't my life end up in more pain and humiliation?
“Good day masters.”
“Where are you coming from, Mariam?” Diesel the angry one asked of me, I knew I was dead.
“I took a walk.”
“You took a walk and forgot to prepare lunch for us?” I didn't know how he got to me at such speed, and he slapped me hard on my face.
“Please, I will go in and prepare it.” I was shivering on the floor crying already, he bent down to my level and made use of his fingers to lift my face up and shifted my hair aside.
“Fat cheek, do you think working for us is a joke?”
“No master.”
“It is about to rain, take this money, go get us Pizza and you better hurry.” he dragged my jaw and let me fall to the ground.
I took the money he dropped on the floor and rushed out to get the pizza. What kind of punishment is he planning to give to me?
I am so scared like hell right now? God, please, let the punishment be light and not the one that will send me to my grave, it is not my fault I look like someone they hate with passion.
I finished getting the Pizza and rushed back home to serve them with it.
I finished and went to the kitchen, but one of the girls came to meet me and whispered,“I want you to leave this household for good and avoid the Golden brothers, else I will make your life hell.”
Great, from hell to hell, I need to choose a particular hell, I can't be scared of ladies bully right?
“I can't.” I replied to her.
“You what?” She tried to hit me, but I struggled with her and pushed her, she screamed for help and the Golden brothers rushed to the kitchen.
“She tried to fight me.” The bitch lied to them.
“No, she is lying, I can't fight her.”
“Fat cheek, you attempting to hurt my girlfriend because you seek revenge?” Axel asked.
“She has gone too far, and you even claimed she is lying, tell us why should we believe you!” Jett asked with anger.
I went on my knees, but none of them seemed to believe me.
The rain started immediately like Diesel said earlier,“Perfect, it's rainy, brothers let's flog her and leave her in the rain outside.”
They all agreed, the girl gave me an evil smirk, I can't believe someone who barely knows me did this to me. Do I have a plague for people to hate me?
I was dragged out and ended up lying on the ground while the rain was pouring heavily.
Diesel brought out his belt and lashed me with it, I cried out my pains, Axel and Jett also did the same and they left me to remain in the rain.
I was bleeding and shivering as the words they said to me played in my head,“We can treat you anyhow we like and there is no one, absolutely no one that can save you from us.” tears rolled down my eyes, but the rain washed them off.
