I had a weird dream before waking up,how did I end up in my room?
“Are you okay Clara?” I asked my wolf form.
“I feel weird,what happened to us both? I lost consciousness.”
“Same here,I remembered I got injected by someone….” I paused and recalled all the incident.
Oh no,I escaped death this time what happened next time? Will I be alive? Am I really not powerful?
“You are awake,how are you feeling now? Should I call the doctor?” Jett asked walking close to me.
“How did I get in here?”
“I found you lifeless in the woods,can you recall what happened to you? I searched around the place and found no one.”
Why am I giving him the opportunity to show me that he can care for me? This is not working,I am stoping it immediately.
“I need to speak with my father and Beta,let them know I am awake.” I ordered him and rested my head again.
“I will do just that,I know you are angry with me but at least tell me how you are feeling?” He begged.
“How I feel shouldn’t be your concern,do what I ask you to do now.”
He left the room and in less than five minutes,my father and his beta were present in my room.
“My little sunshine,how are you feeling? Does it hurt?” My father asked caressing my hair in the process.
“Father I am fine now.”
“Can you remember what happened to you before you passed out?” beta Elvis inquired.
“I remembered seeing someone at the gathering looking so strange so I followed him only to end up in the woods,I didn’t know how he by passed me and injected me with a substance.” I explained.
“Did you see his face?”
“No, he wore a face mask but he threatened me saying,
‘Watch your back Alpha, next time I will be killing you.’ Those were the things I remembered.”
“I guess the target is your daughter Alpha,from now henceforth she has to be careful,where she goes to and what she eat,all these should be taken in to consideration before we find the killer.” Beta Elvis advised.
“Mariam you need to rest right now,don’t over stress yourself and from now henceforth,I don’t want you out of my sight anymore.”
“Father,I can take care of myself.”
“I know that but right now as the Queen of the pack you need to be alive and live for your subject,have some rest now,I will send some gammas to find out about the guest who came to the gathering yesterday.”
“Okay dad,I will take my rest now.” He kissed my cheek before leaving.
I took my phone and dialed Cindy number hoping she will return my calls but same thing,she ignores everything.
“Now this has happened,will I be able to go to Dranovile and work things out with Cindy?” I got a text message from Rita inviting me to her chicken store.

I held a meeting immediately with the triplet at the garden,“Kneel before me this very moment.” I ordered them and they obeyed at once.
“Your new task,listen attentively,you know about the unexpected death of Alpha Collins and the threat to my life right?” They nodded their head.
“Good,I need you to find the culprit at all cost,if we don’t he is going to harm more Alphas ,Axel and Diesel get to work immediately.”
“Yes Alpha.” They obeyed immediately and left,I gave an evil smirk.
“What about me Alpha? If you give me the opportunity,I promise I will be able to get the person that dares to threaten your life.”
“You are coming with me to a Chicken store.”
“Chicken store? What are we doing at a chicken store?”
“Do you dare question me?”
“I am sorry Alpha.”
“Sorry for yourself,you are my personal bodyguard and you will do as I commanded,we leave in ten.”

Queen Rebecca left the estate to have her secret meeting with her folks,“Any news yet?”
“I got a tip that she was spotted in Scarovile years ago.”
“Who is she? And why are you bringing up issues of years ago? I am talking about now,if the Alpha find out the truth,I am sure we will be sentenced to death.” Rebecca yelled bringing them to their senses.
“We know that my queen,I am talking about the maid that ran with Late Queen Nora’s baby years ago.”
“Really? Tell me everything you know in details,where is she? We need to get her before the Alpha does.” She took her seat.
“I will send some of our men to search Scarovile,she must be living there.”
“How smart of her,If I had knew that our plan was ruined,I would have ended her myself long ago.” She gave a deadly look that frightened others.
“What should we do with her when we find her?” One of them asked.
“Are you really asking me that? We do what is necessary,kill her immediately to bury our secret.”
“What if she has told someone the truth already?”
“Hum,so what are you suggesting to me now? Speak already,I need to return home as soon as possible.”
“I would suggest we lock her up where no one will ever see her then find out who knows about the incident before killing her.”
“Hum,I love that,let’s do as you say,lock her up but you must inform me immediately,being a while I tortured someone,now that is settled what else?”
“My queen, now your son crown is taken from him,what will happen to us?”
“My son crown is not taken yet,when the bitch daughter loses her life with the crown on,my son comes in.”
