Alpha Aiden woke up the next morning to the news and his heart got troubled.

“This can't be,what the hell is happening.” He brought out his phone to call Elvis.

“Good morning Alpha Aiden.” Elvis sounded like someone still sleeping despite he was on call with the Alpha.

“A rumor is spreading that my daughter went out of town for pleasure leaving her subjects behind,finding out everything and how it got circulated at once.” He ordered him.

“Yes Alpha.” he ended the call and hit the wall angrily when the door got opened by the queen.

“Good morning honey,it's time for breakfast.”

He tried to maintain a smile on his face,acting like nothing was happening so he wouldn't ruin a happy time with his wife but he was shocked she called him for breakfast and addressed him with a sweet name.

“I will join you soon.”

“Okay no problem,I will be waiting for you.” She said taking her leave at once and when she stepped out of the room,she rested her back on the door and let out a beautiful smile,“I can tell he is worked out by the rumors.” she walked directly to the stair case, descending the steps to sit for breakfast and gave Agatha a sign.

Alpha Aiden tried putting himself together and decided not to call his daughter about it,he plans to solve the all thing before it spreads to other packs and the elders as well.

He stepped out for breakfast and noticed everyone was talking about it,he tried to focus with his food and his wife inquired from him,“Is everything okay with you Aiden?”

“Yes,why do you ask?”

"I can tell with a glance and also,have you heard about the rumors that are going round about Mariam?” She questioned on purpose.

“Yes I did,it's not true at all,I wonder who would spread such a false rumor.”

“Why don't we call her to return home and prove to her subjects that the rumors are lies.” she said on purpose.

“There is no need to disturb her about it when I can solve it,or are you behind it?”

“What? What do you mean by that? Are you trying to say I will be so jobless to spread such news?” She acted like she was upset and he quickly made peace with her.

“Rebecca, Rebecca.” he kept calling her but she ignored his call completely and was happy with the turn of events It is clear that Mariam will not return so the rumor is going to keep spreading till the city is divided fully.

He left the house angrily with his car and texted his beta,on his way, making use of his distance hearing,the rumors were spreading like wide fire,it got to an extent that the rumors became a solid fact.

Rita walked to the room with a bottle of champagne and two glass cups She wore red underwear and looked very sexy to the taste Sylvester would want.

“He is not home.”

“When he returns,he should come and see me at once,this calls for celebration.” She said out of excitement.

Alpha Aiden was in a state of confusion,he didn't know what to do,the sudden attack is like a mystery and his son saving them is also a good thing as well but taking his sister's title is like treason.

He requested for his son immediately he got home and they sat at the garden.

“Father,why do you wish to see me?”

“I want to thank you for helping the people even if your sister is absent.”

"You are welcome dad,is that all?” He replied,his father knows he is very angry with him but still,he needs to speak the truth.

“But accepting to be a king is like treason, don't betray your sister.”

“Father,I know you don't love me as your son,I didn't call myself king,the people did,if she is fit to be queen,where the hell is she?” he walked out angrily and Aiden didn't know how to react,he didn't want the quest of power to separate his family.
