After Mariam was taken to her room and was locked up by the guards, Rebecca was excited,“You all did well,you may leave now.”
“Thank you my queen.” They all took her leave except for Rebecca who remained there thinking of more evil plot.
“Mariam,you will not last long in my home,I will definitely kick you out before you know it,that I promise you.” She laughed evilly and stepped out to take a walk and meet with other Luna that came to visit her that morning.
As usual,they gossiped some stuff with her so they can obtain favour from her by letting her son marrying their daughter once he is announced as the next incoming Alpha of all Alphas.
“My Queen,when will the Alpha announce your son to the entire clans as the next successor?” One of the Luna inquired and she smiled saying,“Soon,just be patient,my son is getting trained and must be prepared as well,you know after he is announced,he begins his duty immediately.”
“Wow,I can't wait then,you deserve everything my queen.”
“Of cause I deserve it all,I worked hard to get here, this is my reward.” she smiled saying it but none of them understood what she meant with her words.
“I heard Luna Tracy daughter gave birth to a baby girl,I want you all to visit her on my behalf to celebrate with her.”
“Yes my queen,we will do just that.”
“Before you leave,I already got some special gifts for her,my bodyguard will place them in your car.” She pointed at Ruth and they were all happy.
As they continued their discussion, Agatha came in with Rebecca phone letting her know Alpha Aiden wants to speak with her on phone.
She excused the ladies as she talked to her husband on phone.
“My beautiful wife,I hope you aren't stressing yourself with the rest Luna's?” Alpha Aiden asked out of concern.
“I am not,so have you gotten any clue relating to the missing female werewolves?”
“Not really but soon we will get the culprit,how is Mariam doing?” Rebecca countenance changed immediately Mariam name was mentioned.
“Did you call to check on me or did you call to know how Mariam is doing?”
“Be calm Rebecca,there is no cause for an alarm,you know she is still recovering,I just wanted to know how she is feeling and nothing much.”
“Well,she is fine and I guess she is still in her room.”
“Okay my queen,see you tonight.” He ended the call.
“That was too fast Aiden,you should have waited a little so I tell you why she is in her room,I will starve her all day and with that,she will ask to leave our home.” She laughed and called Agatha,they talked about more evil plans together.
Agatha is like her sister from her pack,the only way to keep her was to make her her personal maid and Agatha has being with her for years.

Alpha Aiden and Beta Elvis had to leave because it was late already,on their way home the Beta suggested a few things,“I have a feeling we should visit the club.” He parked the car along the road for them to talk about it.
“Are you insane? Do you think we are still in college or high school that goes to the club for fun?” Aiden countered him.
“Adults goes to club you know but that's not the reason,all the cases are kind of similar,they want to traffic them for money,where do you think such a deal is normally made?” He asked and Alpha placed his hands on his chin thinking about it.
“You are right Elvis,any bidding will be done in a club at the VIP rooms meant for their rich client,I guess we can find Rita there.”
"Now we think alike,so are we going home or visiting the club?”
“The club,mind link the gammas and zetas to also visit clubs closest to them,they must be in one of the clubs.”
“Your wish is my command Alpha Aiden.” Elvis said with respect as he carried out the order before he resumed driving.
They got the club and in order to blend in, they have to behave like the rest and they could smell so many werewolves in the club and with the heartbeat, a werewolf can tell they are in danger.
“Go south and I will go west.” Alpha Aiden said and Elvis nodded as they took different direction in the club.
Alpha Aiden took his seat and ordered for a bear which was given to him,he acted like he was enjoying his beer but no one knew he used it as a disguise to make use of his listening ear.
He needs to be focus and separate the noise at the club to find his Culprit.
He finally heard“40000 dollar,I want the blonde hair girl”
“40000 dollar, anyone bidding? Sold.” he concluded the person might be the Rita they are looking for.
“Elvis, upstairs now,signal the rest gammas to secure the club outside,no one gets in or go out.”
“I will do that at once.”
At the end of the day,they were able to rescue the female werewolves that were about to get sold and the clients were arrested but Rita escaped which made the Alpha really angry.
"We will get her again.” Elvis encouraged.
“Tonight mission is done,take me home.”He said with no smile on his face and he was driven home by Elvis.
He bid him goodnight and headed directly to his room where he saw his Luna sleeping.
“I know you are pretending,won't you welcome me?”
“You are welcome,I just started sleeping anyway.” she sat on the bed smiling at him.
He took of his clothes to have his shower and wearing his night wear,he asked her,“How is Mariam? I will check on her before I sleep.”
“There is no need,look at the time,she is probably asleep.”
“You are right,I guess you are not angry with me tonight, let's go to bed then, today had been stressful.”
"Sure,let's go to bed.” She gave a fake smile.

The next morning,the Alpha woke up very late and notice his bed was empty,he knew his Luna has gone to Interact with other Luna's.
He washed his face and requested for a cup of tea which was served to him immediately.
He asked about Mariam from the maids and he was told she hasn't stepped out from her room.
He suddenly heard her heartbeat,it wasn't beating as normal,he rushed to her room and opened the door with force and he ended up seeing her on the floor.
He carried her immediately,“Call the house nurse.” he yelled and the maids rushed to inform the nurse.
“I hope Rebecca didn't do anything to her?” He questioned himself mentally as the nurse tried to revive her.
