If you will allow me,I need to go now." About making a move, he stopped me. "You are not allowed to leave until you tell me your name, beautiful, and why you are here."
"And if I don't, what will you do?" I got tough with my response.
"If I kiss you,will you tell me?" He winked at me, and my cheeks turned red immediately. "You dare not do such a thing."
"What if I try?" "Will you hit me?"
I hate him so much for flirting with me; he sounds like Dave. I need to look for a way to leave before he kisses me.
"Go to hell." I said this to him, and he smiled at me.
Luna Rebecca appeared from nowhere, saying, "Sylvester, when did you return?"
"Mother." He hugged her,so he is Alpha Aiden's first son. I guess the son took his father's trait instead of his mother's. He will make a great Alpha king.
"I missed you so much, my handsome son. Why didn't you let me know about your coming?"
"I wanted to surprise you; that's all. I heard Jane is back; where is she?"
"You know your sister; she went shopping."
"I see. Hey wait,I never asked you to leave." He caught me when I tried to leave. I had to stop, and I wished I would be able to hit him right away.
"I wasn't planning to leave." I replied.
"Mother,who is she?" He questioned his mother, and she looked at me in disgust, saying, "She is one of the victims your father brought home; her name is Mariam."
"Thank you, mother,Mariam,nice name; you can leave now." He said this to me, and I moved to my room angrily.
He is the Alpha son; he shouldn't dare flirt with me. If I ever wish to have a boyfriend,I would go for Dave and not him; he is not even that handsome.
"Are you liking the Alpha Son?"
"Really Clara? First you said I like the father; now the son? Do you just like anyone you see?"
"I should be asking you,maybe having three mates can really make us a bitch." She added, and I started laughing, "You are crazy. I will never end up with those alphas; instead, I will make them pay."
A few moments later,I heard a knock on my door. I opened it and saw Sylvester. I tried to lock the door immediately, but he forced his way in.
"Hey Mariam."
"Hey Sylvester."
"Guess we are friends now,so I can always come in to visit you, right?"
"And who said we were friends? I really can't remember saying that." I replied to him.
"I guess you look like you want me to be your friend, and also, my father helped you, so you have no other choice."
"Wow,this is your way of bullying people, right? It won't work."
"Then let's see how you are going to chase me out." He laid on my bed, and I got so angry that even when Clara laughed at the whole thing,I felt like hitting her wolf only if it was possible.
"Whatever, when you are done,you will leave." I sat on the chair, bringing out my phone to watch videos, when he took it from me and said, "Hey, give me my phone."
"I won't." He replied with his smile which is so annoying,what the hell is wrong with him? Can't he just let me be? Am I the only female in his father's home? I hate him with passion.
"It's my phone; give it to me now." I shouted at him but he wasn't moved at all,it was like he enjoys the whole thing which was really frustrating.
"Only if you agree to talk to me."He created an offer and smiled at me again.
"Gosh." I was losing my patients already, but I just needed to calm down.
"Okay, we are friends. Are you happy now?" I faked my smile at him and he fell for it.
"Yes, I am; let's share contact." He said that, and I opened my phone. I finally have a sincere male friend, but his flirty attitude makes me get angry at him easily.
I will say,he is fun to be with even if he is annoying but something tells me his mother will kick against our friendship.
It was time for my training as usual. I wore my combat dress, looking a little different, and was ready for the lesson.
Alpha Aiden taught me more things, and finally,I was able to trigger my healing. I owe him everything.
"You need to learn to be able to defend yourself until you pass this lesson before we can be talking about you shifting into a wolf." He said it to me, and I really hated it but had no choice. I later found out the reason they train first was because the late Luna was strong in battle despite being a lone wolf, so they came up with a theory: don't depend on just your wolf strength but your physical strength in combat.
Returning to my room, Sylvester got me pizza, saying, "I heard you triggered your healing process; let's celebrate."
"Is the celebration necessary?" I can't believe he will be here again,why me?
"You are such a mood spoiler, but anyway,I will forgive you. Let's go." He added, placing his hand around my neck, and then I pushed him off.
“Hey,why did you do that to me? That's not fair at all and you know that.”
“Can't you just go? I am happy you got me the pizza but please leave me alone.”
“Okay I promise to leave you alone after we are done eating the pizza together,I know you want me around so just say the words.” He winked at me and I just walked not knowing what to say anymore as he walked behind me singing some songs that are weird but I actually laughed.
Writer POV
Alpha Aiden and Beta Elvis were talking about Mariam. "Her mother's death is similar to Nora's," Aiden said to Elvis.
"I think we are close to the truth already."
"But there is a problem. My son is around, and both of them are quite close. If she is really my daughter, then it will be taboo for her to have feelings for her brother."
"Hum,why don't we run a DNA test?" Elvis suggested.
"That is rude; I can't do such without telling her."
"What method do you have? This is the only way to find out, and I am sure there is a different story about Nora's death."
"We can only know that if truly she is my daughter,the last methods I have are actually two: her wolf form and the birthmark as well."
"Well,I am ready to be patient with you, but if you run out of patience,I will be here waiting for you to take my advice." Elvis stated before bringing out a gin for them to drink, looking at the full moon.
The alpha returned home and went to his room immediately to avoid any more drama from his wife. Unknown to him,his wife broke the rules by releasing the rogues. He got a call immediately that Sam was dead. He is one of the people who gave him tips on how to capture the ruthless twins.
"Dead? How?"
"We heard his scream, but something is wrong." The gamma said it on the phone.
"What is wrong?" "Tell me, I will start coming with Elvis now."
"The way he was killed was upside down."
"The ruthless brothers—no way they must have escaped—I am coming right now." He dashed out of the house at exactly 11 p.m with Elvis meeting him up at the crime scene.
