“Oh hi,I didn't know you will be here handsome.” Rita said with sincerity but was still a little afraid he might have heard everything.

“Stop calling me handsome like we are closed and lastly,what are you two talking about? Are you working together?” Alpha Jett questioned immediately telling to read their faces to get the truth but he got this hunch that he is standing with the enemies.

“Work together what do you mean?” Rita asked trying to play innocent.
“You know exactly what I mean.” Jett said with disrespect..
“Okay,there seems to be a misunderstanding here but I will clear it all up,I really don't know her but we started talking at her late father house.” Sylvester tried to cover up.

“With the way I saw you two,I can easily tell you two are close,are you sure that's where you met her?” He asked another question again just to give them a little body heat.

“Oh,that's because we have a little thing in common,anyway she came here to see Queen Mariam and I happen to see her so I decided to keep her company.” Sylvester said with a smile but truth be told,he hates Jett with passion.

“Whatever you two are planning,one thing is for sure,I am going to find out soon and when I do,you better be innocent if not,I won't reconsider killing you both at once.” He said directly to their faces and Sylvester got angry.

“How dare you raise your voice in that manner to talk to me? You even dared to talk to your Queen friend in a disrespectful way,I will not take this nonsense anymore,keep quite and leave immediately.” he yelled at Jett but Jett was not even moved by anything.

“Do you think I am scared of you? Ask about us very well,we are the Golden brother and when we place you in our blacklist,it's over for you.” Jett said directly to his face and Sylvester felt a little bit threatened,trying to say a word to Jett,Rita interfered.

“Okay guys it's enough,we are one big family right? There is no need for us to argue this way or fight ourselves, everything is just a big misunderstanding,I will be going to meet Queen Mariam now.” She tried her best to kill the matter but Jett didn't allow her to meet Mariam.
“What's your reason of meeting with her? Do you wish to know that she survived the attack?”

“Oh my God,attack? What happened to the queen? Is she alright? Is she hurt?” She almost started crying but Jett scoff,“Is that the best you got? You are such a terrible actor,I will not allow you see her and hurt her,tell me,why are you here?”

“You...” Sylvester was about saying something again but she silenced him,“I came here to return her phone,she forgot it at my chicken store, that's why I am here and nothing else.” She explained.

"I know this is just a cover up story but I will agree you won today,give me the phone,I will take it to my queen myself and I will request you quietly leave. ” He stretched is hands to get the phone from her and she had no other choice but to give in by letting him have the phone.
“I guess we are good friends now right? No more fighting.” Rita tried to make it look good again but nothing she did moved Jett who hates and suspect her already.
“You may start leaving.” alpha Jett said and even when Sylvester tried to oppose that the place belongs to the father,Rita told him not to bother and took her leave immediately without even looking back.

Alpha Jett knowing she is going turned around about to leave when Sylvester words stopped him,“A mere bodyguard acting more than expected,you better watch your back.”

"If I am in your shoes,I will act simple and not do anything stupid at all ,so the reverse is the case,watch your back from now henceforth.” He resounded his words to Sylvester hearing.

“I see,you are trying to act a bit tough so you can gain the likeness of Mariam right? You want to fuck her badly,I can see it in your eyes.” He gave a devilish smile.

“I don't need to make her like.me,she already does and I am her favorite,besides thanks for coming with a plan to hurt her last night,I was able to have a splendid nihut with her and it was fun you know.” He rendered his lines and took his leave but Sylvester remained dump still standing.

"He is bluffing right? He is just a mere bodyguard and that's all,there is nothing more to be jealous off,I will make Mariam mine and make sure I am the one who kills him for acting tbjs tough to me.” He moved angrily to the direction of his room,he didn't wish to see anyone because he needs a plan as soon as possible.

“We got some bad news.” Beta Elvis said and Mariam got worried immediately,why are things like this happening when she is just made a queen.

“What bad news? Talk to me uncle.” She got so curious to know.
“We got a clue about the death of your mother and the person was not willing to speak last night.” He added trying to put his emotion's together.

“Really? That's not a bad news but a good one,where is the person? Can I question her? Maybe she will be able to spill out somethings if I do the talking.” Mariam said with happiness and also wished the witness should be her grandma because she has missed her so very much.

“No you can't,your father ought to be the one to try again to question her since she refused to talk to me,but getting there today to invite her,she was already dead with her heart reaped out.” Elvis broke the bad news to her.

She staggered a little and replayed the beta words in her hearing and thought about so many things in seconds and it was exactly what if? She got so scared and looked around hoping the killer is not living with them.

“But how is it possible? Who could have killed her? The killer must be around somewhere.” She said s trying to get a hold on her self.

“I really don't know but let's wait for your father.” He added.

“Okay,but before you break the bad news to her,I would love to say some good news first,it's still morning and I don't want my father mood to be ruined.” she explained and he agreed without arguing with her.

Her father joined them and they both greeted him with respect,he hugs his daughter asking her about her night and kissed her cheek before responding to his friend then he took his seat giving them the opportunity to seat.

“I guess you are here with goodnews? The queen will be joining us soon.” He said to them and they nodded.

“So before my wife joins us,tell me the goodnews.” He requested.

“Father the goodnews is that we can find the killer.” Mariam said with a smile trying to cover the fact that she is scared of getting killed very soon.

“Okay my dearest daughter,let me hear the goodnews,how can we catch the killer?” He questioned her with a smile.

“My bodyguard found some set of people living close by to the event at Late Alpha Collins,they met the killer but the problem is that,they refused to talk.” She finished talking and smiled.

“They refused to talk? Hum,I guess I will have to request them to our home and make them comfortable as well so they can be free as well to talk.” The Alpha ordered and they all accepted.

“You are wise.” Elvis said with a fake smile.

“So what next are we talking about right now? I hope the witch came wjth you because my wife agreed to make her loyal witch spill everything she knows.” Alpha Aiden said,his wife walked in with her maid to take her seat when she got greeted again.

“my queen,you are here,thank you so much for coming,you look so beautiful I must say.” Alpha
Aiden mentioned to her but she knew none of them were genuine so she acted along.

“Thank you.” she appeared a little different and Aiden understood immediately.
“Where is the witch?” Aiden questioned looking around.

"I am sorry my kind,we were too late and there is nothing wr can do anymore,we need to move on and find someone who was at the incident,I have a believe soon the truth will be out.” Elvis said but Aiden still got confused.
“What do you mean? Did she refuse my order? That's can't happen,has she forgotten who I am?” He yelled.

“She wouldn't dare if she was alive.” He broke the news.

"Was alive? What do you mean?” Aiden questioned again.

“She is dead my king,someone killed her before I got there just to hide the truth,I am sorry I failed.” He went on his knees and Queen Rebecca had a smile on.
