The past played in her head at once,she remembered taking another route when taking Mariam away and arriving at Moon City, she left her for dead knowing the rogues will either sell her or rape to death, she has been living all these while with the impression that Mariam is dead.
“You are supposed to be dead.” She said the word out and the triplet looked at themselves .
“No ma’am, I am not dead but alive.” Mariam explained thinking the mother still likes her and care for her.
“But how?”
“Sorry ma’am, you sound like you saw me die, can you make me understand why you believe I am dead?”
“I heard the rumors you were never found and it was like you died.” Mrs Debby covered up immediately and tried to be herself to scold her son for bringing back the maid.
“Axel, is she the reason you can’t be with Mabel?” She questioned and the son could not give a proper response.
“I see, I will chase her out myself. You cannot end up with a maid, I will not let that happen, not on my watch, I will send her out now and you all will call Mabel in my presence and aplogise to her at once.” She yelled but the son reaction was like they will not obey her so to taste their loyalty, she gave an order.”Three of you chase her out now.” This was when Mariam discovered the mother likes her for being her but will never let a maid be her son wife, she smiled because she is no more a maid since her story have changed for the better, she is now a queen so she watched the sons to see if they will carry out their mother’s orders or disobey their mother but one thing is for sure, no one can ever disrespect the crown expect they desire death.
“What are you waiting for? Are you all deaf? Chase her out this minute, you dare not disobey your mother.” She yelled angrily at them and got more vexed seeing Mariam not been affected by her words,instead she had her seat looking at them.
“Mariam how dare you act like this is your house? I have no grudges against you, this is between my sons and I, if they refuse to send you out, I want you to leave now.” She said facing Mariam.
“I can’t leave because this is where I am to live in as long I am still in Dranovile.” Mariam replied in a respectful way but Mrs. Debby finds it very offensive and rude.
“You worthless son, you see a worthless maid disrespecting me and you can not even do a damn thing right?” She questioned.
“We are sorry mom but we have to disrespect you this time, we cannot go against her.” Jett said avoiding his mother’s eyes.
“I can’t believe I raised you all to disrespect me this way, I know what I will do to you, immediately I am done with her.” She walked to Mariam about sending her out when her sons stopped her saying,”Mother, you have to stop please, we don’t want you dead.” Diesel added with care for his mother.
“Death can never have me until I am ready.”
“Enough.”Axel yelled at his mother and she was surprised, this is the very first time her son is challenging her and it looks like a film playing before her eyes. Yes she is happy about the improvement of her sons but not proper to defend a useless maid like Mariam.
“Mother, she is the almighty alpha daughter, she is the new queen of our race.” Jett broke the news to her and she finds it so hard to believe them.
“You must be joking with me, a woman can never be a queen.”
“Cut it off mother, I know you are aware a woman is the new queen, they found late queen Nora’s daughter but you have no idea who she is, here she is, Queen Mariam, she is no more a maid and you could be locked up for talking down to the queen.” Axel explained to his mother and her eagled dropped, she regretted not killing Mariam with her own hands when she got the chanced, she thought the rogues will do it for her. She is the reason Mariam got re united with her father again.
“I hold no grudges against your mother, I will be in my room resting now, I guess you all need privacy as a family, I will not interrupt it.” Mariam said heading to her room.
The triplet mother still haven’t recovered from the shock she is in, it looks so unreal and now she has nothing to do, she can not stop her sons from obeying her except she wants her own death coming knocking at her own door.
“We were picked by her to be her personal guards,I believe you know the custom mother.” Diesel added.
“Why didn’t you all inform before hand, you should have told me our maid is alive and she is the new queen.” She insisted.
“You have no interest in her from the beginning because you were aware we like her, you will never accept her.” Jett said to his mother with no more fear.
“it’s okay everyone, mother needs to rest now, she has had a long day, we talk about this later.” Axel said and they stopped arguing helping their mother with her things to her room so she can rest.

Mrs. Debby entered the bathroom and turned on the shower so she can call Mabel directly with no one hearing her conversation, “Hello ma’am.” Mabel said over the phone.
“Mabel, why didn’t you tell me the actual reason my son refused you?”
“Would you have believe me if I told you the person you told me is dead is back to the picture? I am glad you are back to see things for yourself, I hope things will get better and the wedding your promise me will hold right?” She questioned.
“Give me sometime, I think Mariam is not interested in dating them, just give it sometime.” Debby said.
“With the way you are sounding, I am sure you don’t have control of your sons anymore, I will handle everything myself, I know what I have sacrifice to get here, even if she is the queen I will not her take my lovers away from me.”
“Enough Mabel, do not take a decision that might cost your life, she is the queen, if my sons refuses you then give up already, you got to spend years when Mariam was no more in the picture and you failed in making them fall for you.”
“I tried my best.”
“Then your best is not enough, try harder.” She ended the call and turned off the shower coming out of the bathroom and rested on her bed. She texted her husband letting her know the Queen herself is present in their home and he was shocked as hell.
“Just be nice to her,you don’t want our family to be demoted.”
“I have heard you, I will be returning soon, just make sure you don’t ruin things for me over there.”
They continued chatting and talking about other things.

The triplet went out to get a few things and Jett talked about what he was feeling about his mother,”I feel mother is hiding something from us.” He said.
“What could she be hiding?” Diesel questioned him.
“You should have seen her face when she saw Mariam, it’s like she is involved in Mariam disappearance years ago.”
“Yes I saw her look, maybe she was just shocked and nothing more.” Diesel replied.
“What are your points Jett?” Axel questioned.
“We got a call to visit Sacrovile and we had to leave Mariam behind,then coming back,she went missing,what if mother got us busy so she can take her away from us?” He said and they were quite for a few minutes.
“Are you saying our mother killed her?” Diesel inquired.
“Tha’s not what I mean, mother knows what must have happened in the past and why she wants us to be with someone that broke our heart in the past.” Jett tried to prove his point and they all finally got what he was trying to say.
“To know the truth, we have to take mother out and question her.” Axel accepted.
“Yes, we must do everything possible for her to open up to us her sons, I guess we are still in the dark.”
