Mariam

Who would believe my fate will end up this way one day? Truly every happy moment you end up having,use it to the very best because we never can tell what will take place tomorrow. If I knew everything would be destroyed,I would have stayed back and created more fun times with my father and Beta Elvis.

Now his wife has to travel out because of the war to be saved,Mariam you are stupid,you are so stupid. I destroyed everything on the table and stood up facing the mirror I need to shift into a wolf as usual,that's my only strength to defeat Sylvester.

I tried and tried,at first I thought I was getting it when my red eyes came out but it was deemed off again,I can do it,I just need to stay more focused again and again.

No matter what I tried, nothing seems to work I got so upset and punched the mirror with my bare hands and it got broken at once with the crack visible and the pieces on the floor.

I looked at my fist,I had a few cuts and it bleed,“I can't even trigger my healing,I will be the first to die if I should have a duel with Sylvester.”

Jett rushed into the room and looked so worried,“Are you okay? What happened to you?”

“Why do you care? Do I look like a baby?”

"Let me see your hands.” he requested and I refused.

"Mariam show me your hands or I will use force,you know I am stronger than you now,will you do this willingly or should I force you?” He questioned and I gave in but didn't show him the fist. He turned to check my fist and saw I was bleeding and unknown to him I held a piece of the broken glass with my other hand,I just wanted to hurt myself for failing to transform.

“I will get my first aid box,give me a minute.” He left with speed and came back at once.

He forced my other hand and took off the glass at once,“Mariam,I really don't know why you are doing this but I will be sincere to you,I miss you so much.” He kept talking while he tended to my wound.

“Please for my sake and the others,for your father,stop hurting yourself,you can't just give up just like that.”

I looked at him and I saw how sad he was.

“Can you keep the wifi for me,I want to continue chatting on Facebook with new friends,that's the only way I can breathe and be free from this world a little.”
“Sure,if that's the only thing that can make you happy for now,I hope you get happiness fully.”

"Thank you and I am hungry.” I added and he sounded so sweet saying,“I will get you your meal once I am done tending with your wounds.”

"Okay thank you.”

Well,ever since I became a shadow of myself, chatting with the laptop on Facebook makes me feel happy a little,at least I get to chat with Elena my best friend though I didn't tell her where I was,I just told her I was with my lover and gave so much lie just to make her say crazy things.

“Done,I will get you your meal now.” He left.

“Mariam, you are trying so hard,be calm and we will be fine,you are punishing yourself and you know that.” Clara added.

“Clara,I love this new version of myself,I am a lone wolf now,so I can act like a little human.”

"Mariam,you will be fine,we just need up to a month to get access fully, our powers are not completely gone yet,we just got weakened by the dosage.”

“Okay,Elena is online now,I guess I will be better now.” I stopped talking to Clara and chatted with Elena.

“Hey Elena,are you back from work?” I texted her on Facebook messenger and she replied at once saying,“I just got back from work now.”

“So tell me,how was work?”
“Work was fun,guess what,my colleague I told you I am crushing on finally confessed his love to me.”

I jumped in excitement, finally my best friend is going to give him a chance to have a relationship again,I thought she was not ready.
“Tell me everything in detail,did he kiss you?” I typed then Jett came in with the food and a glass cup of milk.

"Jett,Elena got asked out today,isn't that fun?”

“Yes it is,good to see you smile.” He said before leaving and I took the food as I continued chatting.

Jett left her room immediately he served her the meal,the others waited to hear the news from him,“She is happy.”

"Oh finally,” Dave said with a smile.

“Yes,I guess chatting on Facebook is a new hobby that makes her happy,at least we will no longer be scared of her trying to run away.” Diesel added.

“Yes but we need to be scared of one more thing,self harm,do you know she tried to harm herself a few moments Earlier?”

“We will be here to protect her,that's not a problem.” Axel added.

Axel's phone rang immediately and he excused himself to pick it up.

“Hello.”

“Alpha Axel,we need you, Golden Moss Pack is dying gradually.”

“What do you mean our pack is dying?”

“We got attacked by some rogues and they keep coming,no one can attend school peacefully and the worst happened last night.” He said in panicking.

"Talk to me Thomas,what happened last night?”

“The wolf hunters attacked us.”

“What the hell? How? I thought we took care of them some years ago.”

“We really need our alpha.” He cried and Axel ended the call.

Diesel and Jett heard everything and got more upset.

“We need to go home and fight to defend our pack.” Axel added.

“Did you just say wolf hunters? I guess Alpha Sylvester or his bitch is behind it.” Dave added

“What are we going to do brother? We can't leave Mariam here all alone?” Jett questioned and Dave replied,"You don't have to worry,the few members of my packs that came here with us can go with you to help you defend your pack then you bring them here to safety.”

“Dave is right,we can mobilize them and attack Sylvester.” Axel added.

“Please look after Mariam,we will be back soon.” Jett added and they all hugged each other as they planned to leave at night.

None of them told Mariam about the war going on with the wolf hunters,they don't want anything to trigger her pain now she found a reason to be happy again.
The triplet left at night with some nightwalker and getting to their home,they noticed the Rogers has taken over which made them so pissed and they launch an attack after reaching their pack members.

“I hate rogues.” Jett screamed removing the head of the rogue that tried to fight him.
He shifted into a huge red wolf and attacked them with rage tearing them apart.

It was a bloody war that refused to stop,the city of Dranovile was in chaos and the war continued for days without stopping. Been able to defeat the rogues, Unexpectedly the wolf hunters came from nowhere and opened fire on them,many couldn't escape it and it killed some at the spot because the bullet is made of silver and wolf bane.

Axel yelled and his brother discovered he got shot,“Damn it,we need to leave at once,I don't think we are ready.” Jett said and Diesel shouted,“Retreat.”

It was a black Tuesday for the Golden Moss Pack,so many teenagers died and for the first time,the triplets cried for failing to protect their own people.

Seeing the way Axel changed,they knew he wouldn't make it and luckily Cindy's sister came from nowhere and made a spell,all the wolf hunters fell into a deep sleep


“Let's go,it will only last for an hour,we need to treat Axel before it spreads to his heart.”

“Sure.” They nodded and went with her to a hidden place.

Axel already turned pale and sweating,she tore off his shirt at once and saw the place he was shot.

“Damn it,you are lucky it didn't meet your heart,you could have died.”Cindy's sister said as she applied some strange herbs round the gun shot wound.

“This is going to hurt Axel but it's the fastest way.” She warned before chanting a strange spell to pull out the bullet with force,“Fla tun en du,gu ni do ga,na dun dun to da do...”

“AHHHHHHH.“ Axel cried out in pain and immediately the bullet left his body and she rushed to tend to the wounds to avoid him from losing much blood.he dozed off and she finished her treatment.

“He is going to be okay.” She said to them.

“Thank you so much for helping us.”

“You are welcome,where is Mariam and my sister?” She questioned Jett and Diesel looked at each other for a moment.

“Mariam is fine but Cindy is...... is......” Jett couldn't say the word out but he has no other choice.
