*The Deal Day*

The duel fight between the two children of Alpha Aiden kept spreading like wide fire among the Moon and Nightwalkers pack.

Dave’s father heard about it but was not pleased with it because Mariam deserves her crown.

A few more hours to the time, Queen Rebecca and Agatha sneaked out of the house again to meet with her crew to conclude on their evil plans.

“When do we make use of the needle?” Peter inquired.

“Immediately it is time for her to change into a wolf,you target her neck in the process.” Queen Rebecca added.

“I am sorry to say this,but I got a bad feeling about this,we all know how heavily guarded Mariam is,I heard the Golden brothers and the night walker son are always protecting her.” Elizabeth pointed out her own point of view towards the plan.

“And so? What if they are protecting her? Are they going to join her in the duel? You know the rules of duels,no one is to cross in to help.” Queen Rebecca countered her.

“That’s not what I mean,what if we get caught with the needle? It is over for us and you know that my queen.” Elizabeth tried to share a more light base on what she pointed out earlier.

“Elizabeth,you worry yourself too much,be calm and focused, no one is going to find out because everyone will be carried away watching the duel to get the winner.” Queen Rebecca silenced her the very last time and she kept shut,no more arguing with her.

“Anything you say my Queen,I will obey you.” Everyone else pledged their loyalty and they joined their hands together as a sign to seal their plan for the duel coming up soon.

Queen Rebecca had to return to her home quickly to wish her son good luck though she is going to make it easy for him to win as well.

The words of the witch she killed played in her head,what if someone else is aware of the truth that Sylvester is not Aiden’s biological son? “I should have found out in detail,damn,I know what to do.” She said in her thoughts and dialed a number.

“I need you to find out details about the late witch,who she has been speaking to before her death.”
“Yes,my queen.”
“Be discreet in your findings.” She said.

At the house she saw her son playing the chess game with one of the male servants.

“My son,won’t you train a little before time?”

“Mother,I am confident of myself,I don’t need to get exhausted with training before starting the duel.” He added.

“You are right my son,come with me,I told the maid to prepare you favorite food.”

“Really? Mom you should not have gone through all those troubles to get my meal ready.”

“I am your mother,it’s my duty to do so and you are already making me proud.”

While Sylvester is seen happy with his mother,Mariam is still in her room,she locked her door to prevent anyone from coming in.

She covered in a blanket feeling nervous about everything,“What if I didn’t win? Won’t I disappoint my father and uncle,most especially my late mother I never got the chance to meet?”

“Why are you acting like a baby now just because of a duel? You did your training and got some improvement as well,you are ready.” Clara tried to ginger me up.

“I don’t think I am ready,My skills getting more improved doesn’t guarantee I will win, Sylvester has been trained for a long time,I need to go in to hiding ” She said.

“Queens don’t hide Mariam except you are a wailing queen.” The word Clara spoke sank into her thinking and she realizes,she allowed her emotions to be her weakness,Instead of thinking,what if,she turned the table around imagine,if I finally win,I will do this and that,then a knock came at the door.

“Who is it?”

“Dave.” He replied,she opened up and hugged him so tight,“Why are you sweating when your room is cold?” Dave questioned her and she lied saying,“I guess because I am doing some work out.”

“Are you sure these sweats came from you doing work out or you are nervous and scared?” He folded his hands while he asked the question.

“Okay fine,you got me,yes I am so scared and nervous but seeing you,I know I shouldn’t be scared anymore,I need to have good energy and vibes of I can do it.”

“Yes you can do it,I believe in you so much,the Nightwalkers are rooting for you.” He winked at her and she felt emotional as they hugged.

Alpha Aiden and Beta Elvis were together talking about the duel,“Its happening tonight,I still can’t believe it.”

“You worry yourself too much Aiden,just relax, this is not a duel till death, don’t get hypertension I beg of you,the late Queen will not want that from you.” Elvis said looking around the place.

“I am trying but my home is not settled,my children are making me choose,I feel most times I failed my role as a father.”

“No you did not,enough of the negative talk okay? Let’s talk about making tonight fun, you need to do everything possible to be happy.”

“Okay I have heard you,what are the guests eating at the duel?”

“Small chops will be served,why are you disturbing yourself with things related to the kitchen? You are not a woman.” He reminded him.

“I know I am not a lady,if Nora was here,she would ask the question.” Elvis understood his feelings but even at that, Elvis is going through serious hell just because he has no idea what he did wrong to Aiden and why the witch locked his memory.

The Moon stone pack members and the Night walkers gathered at the woods to witness the duel.

Everyone cheered but Alpha Aiden didn’t let out a simple smile.

Alpha Sylvester hugged his mother before going to the spot meant for him while Mariam was with the triplet,Dave and the Beta.

“Mariam you can do this,just go there and prove to us all that you are destined to be the queen.” Dave said to her and kissed her cheek.

“Thank you so much Dave,I really appreciate it.” She hugged him but the triplets were so jealous about it.

“Mariam,I want you to know this tonight,you are queen Nora daughter and your mother might have been a lone wolf but a Zeta was no match for her,she can take down an army,her strength flows in you,make use of it .” The beta of the pack said,she thanked him before going to her spot.

“Clara,stay with me please.” She communicated with her wolf form.
“Don’t you worry,pass the physical combat and when it is time for the werewolves,I know what to do.” Clara assured her of it.

Sylvester looked at her with lust,“Hey love,you look good tonight,too bad we had to fight to prove ourselves worthy.” He said to Mariam but she just ignored him.

Before the duel starts,the Almighty Alpha will have to say something and other important people and then the duel can begin with the physical fight.

All orders were followed and the whistle made the sound,they got ready to attack each other.

Mariam tightened her fist remembering what they taught her and some new skills.

Sylvester is waiting for her to attack first so he can copy her moves to win her at once.

Mariam not wasting her time tricked him and kicked him so hard, everyone cheered for her.

Queen Rebecca prayed silently for her son to win and her plan to also work as well.

Mariam got some points at the beginning and she thought she was going to win but in seconds,Mariam was on the floor,Queen Rebecca applauded her son for doing a great job.

Alpha Aiden remained in his seat watching with no sign of joy on his face.

The triplet feared Mariam might lose at this rate.

Everyone got scared for Mariam when Sylvester lifted her from the ground and hit her back to the ground, everyone expected her to cry out her pains but she held it together even if she was dying in pains.

“Wow,you are the tough type,I would love to do it again ” Sylvester made a joke out of it.

Aiden almost broke the rules by going to help his daughter but seeing her bearing the pains,it’s a sign of a queen.

The fight continued and Mariam got so weak as well but knowing her mom was once a warrior that can take down a Zeta,she got angry and rose with it.

“You really need to give up at this stage my love,you got some bruises because of me,I feel bad but after the duel,I will come and treat you.” Sylvester said to her because he was winning, but the table turned around when Mariam made use of twenty hits making Sylvester to land to the ground and the bell rang meaning the stage was over.

The next stage came up,they are to shift into a Werewolf in seconds,the one with the fastest seconds wins.

“Hey,you know I shift in 12 seconds,I know I am going to win.”

“Can you stop talking to me?” She questioned and he stopped talking immediately to avoid people suspecting what she carries.

The timer was set and in seconds they all shifted into wolves, Sylvester scored 12 seconds for transforming into a Werewolf but Mariam was just 10 seconds, everyone applauded for her success in this stage.

The next stage was called,they have to run in the woods and the winner will be taken as well to be the King or remain as queen.

Queen Rebecca looked at her friends in the crowd and they gave a sign to themselves to get the needle ready so they could attack Mariam in the process.
