“What about my father?” Mariam asked.
“I really don't know what happened to him in details but he is danger for sure,I had to turn back when I met my own pack members,he said I needed to leave to get you back.” Dave said to her and everyone in the dinning room looks so worried that a war might break out of this,most especially Cindy,when she remembered what her sister told her,the bloody war is getting closer.
“But she can't leave in this state.” Axel said with concern.
“That's why I feel it's unfair this has to happen to her.” Dave replied her.
“Mariam,I think you have to stay back and let us go and find out, what truly happened,what do you think?” Diesel suggested.
Mariam stood up saying,“I am not a vegetable queen,with or without my wolf strength,I am still the queen and no one will dare lay a finger on me when I have people guarding me,we rest tomorrow and leave for Moon City,a day after tomorrow.” She gave her final words.
“Do you have to do this?” Cindy asked her.
“Yes,I have to,this is all my fault,I neglected my duties thinking and assuming all is well,I didn't even call,that reminds me,where is my phone,I need to call father.”
“Your phone got spoilt during the accident and also,I have tried reaching out to people in there but none of them are picking up,most times it doesn't connect.” Dave answered her.
“Okay,thank you all for this meal,I will need to take a little rest now,just be prepared to leave with me to Moon City a day after tomorrow.” She said it again and then looked at her friend,“I understand if you can't come with me.”
“Bullshit,why won't I come with you? I am your loyal witch and bestfriend, if you don't know,you are also like a sister to me now,I will go with you and always be by your side,we will fight this together.” She said with confidence on her feet,I almost tears and I hugged her so tight.
“Thank you so much,thank you.” The four guys looked at them and didn't say a word.
Mariam unlocked from the hug and headed to the room she was placed before just to take her rest.
“Mariam is tough,we all know that,that's why we are need to work as a team.” Cindy said to them.
“I am always here to protect her.” Dave assured her.
“If you all don't know,there is a prophecy that came up some time ago and it's coming,and you all are part of it.” She said to them.
“What do you mean?” Axel inquired.
“You four have to keep your differences aside and work together as a team,if you want Mariam to win this war that has started,are you all in?”
“Yes,we are.”
“Good,lets do our best to protect the queen.” Cindy addrd with a brief smile.

At night,Mariam was awake in her room,Cindy came in with two glass of fruit juice saying,“Care for a chat?”
“Yes,I was already getting bored and I felt so lazy to stand on my feet.” She replied and they laughed.
She sat on the bed with her and gave her a glass,“Thank you Cindy.”
“You are welcome Mariam,I got your back.”
“Where are the guys?”
“They are training and I heard they will be taking a run as well.”
“I guess after all, revenge is not what I need but a new start to live.” She sip from the juice as she continued to talk.
“I am glad you think this way now, revenge most time is like a distracting tool from the main thing you ought to be doing,I am glad it's not late.”
“I hope so as well,what if something terrible happened to my father? What if everything is over for me?” Mariam said in fear.
“What happened to the tough girl who gave us order to get ready to go to Moon City,a day after tomorrow? Don't tell me,you are filled with doubts?”
“I really don't know,sometimes I am not afraid but sometimes ,I am a bit scared and the what if plays in my head.”
“Mariam,we are going to win this, trust me,you are the queen and you are destined to be one from the onset,so take your mind off negatives things okay?”
“Okay,I have heard you.”
“That's my girl and when this is over,we can go clubbing like you said.”
“That's true,we were unable to go to the club because of what happened but I know one thing for sure,I will take you clubbing,I will keep my words.”

Arriving at Moon City,the tears of the people covered the walls,the pains could be heard,there were casualties on the ground,and many corpses on the ground as well.
It was like the city was divided,tears rolled from Mariam eyes down to her cheek when one of them recognized her,“Why did you abandon us my queen,is it true you chose pleasure over your people? My only son was killed and my wife is in chains,what did I do wrong? I should have renounced you as my queen.” The man cried in pain.
Mariam couldn't feel her legs anymore,she is guilty of everything that has happened here but what she doesn't know is what truly happened that lead to a disaster like this.
“I am sorry.” Mariam cried out.
“There is nothing to do,things that took place can't be undone,you should care for your safety now,a direct order has been passed to kill you at sight.” The man said.
“Who dare pass such an order?” Jett asked angrily.
“I guess you all really don't know what has happened for the passed two months now.” the injured man said.
“Can you please tell us what happened? Who wants to kill Queen Mariam?” Dave questioned.
“I will tell you everything but give me food and drink,I haven't tasted food for a long time,I guess there is hope seeing you here after all.” The injured man requested.
