Writer's POV

“Give me my phone,my mom texted me.” Sylvester said in a calm tone.
“No way, tonight is for me,so join me and enjoy the movie, when we are done,I will give you your phone.”

“Okay no problem,let's keep on watching.” He replied.

*THE MOVIE CONTINUES*

Aubrey's parents were worried about their daughter, "I am scared John, it's late already and Aubrey is still not home, what if something bad happened to her?"

"Do not think such my dear, this town is peaceful, so nothing must have happened."

"I am trying but I am scared at the same time, why don't we go out and search for her? I wish she took her phone as well." She walked to check outside the door to see if she was back.

"You need to stop worrying, my dear wife, no mafia knows what my daughter looks like, definitely she is safe, I assure you, let's just wait for a little while before going out to search for her." He suggested it and his wife got angry at him.

"How can you say this? Aubrey is our only child, you can't be relaxed this way when our daughter is not home yet, if you won't join me in search for her, then I will go myself." She was ready to leave when the door opened revealing Aubrey, she hugged her daughter without letting her say a word.

"Mom, can we unlock the hug now? I technically can't breathe." She added.

"You see, you were worried for nothing, Aubrey is back home, untouched and unharmed, I believe you will be okay now," John added.

"I knew you were worried mom, but as you can see, I am okay." She smiled at her mom.

"Where did you go, Aubrey? You came home very late."

"I am sorry mom, the rain held me at a spot, so I had to wait and there I slept off for a few minutes, I didn't plan to come home late, mom, don't be angry with me mom."

"I am glad you are fine, now you go to the room and change, I will make you something warm to eat."

"Alright mom, thank you so much, take care dad." She smiled heading to her room.

She took out the little bear and sat on the floor, "Little bear, do you think I made a mistake by sleeping with the stranger guy? I heard he is from the mafia family, do you think we can have a life together?"

"I believe we can, like what if he is a mafia? Who cares?" She concluded.

Ace met with everyone at the house they are camping at and they greeted him in the dragon's usual way.

"Tell me everything." He ordered.

"Yes, boss."

"We found the place John is living with his family, one won't think they will be living there and also I got the location where he works and also where his wife works."

"Good one, so what do you all think, should we attack them tonight or tomorrow?" He asked for their opinion but they dare not give.

"Trigger, we dare not give our own opinion, anything you decide on we obey and carry it out, we are forever loyal to you."

He had an evil smirk and stood on his feet saying, "You don't have to be scared, just tell me, when do you think we strike? Being your leader doesn't mean I know it all, get me some smoke." He ordered and of them quickly lit the cigarette and gave it to him.

He placed it in his mouth and puffed out smoke in the air, "You tell me, tonight or tomorrow?"

"Trigger, I would prefer tonight because now he is not aware of our presence here in Oin town. If we wait till tomorrow and someone tells him he saw the dragon family around, he might run away again." He added and Trigger loved his reasons.

"Then we attack tonight, get your arms ready and make sure we don't lose him tonight."

"Yes, Trigger."

He left them and stood at a spot to smoke, he feels so good knowing he is going to make Roger, The boss happy.

"Mother and father thank you, I might have lost my good luck charm but I know mother's charm is still with me, finally I will complete my mission tonight." He puffed more smoke into the air and then something strange happened to him.

The sex he had with Aubrey started playing in his head," She is beautiful and sexy." He smiled.

He realized he was smiling and then stopped, "What the hell is wrong with me? Why am I smiling because of her? She is not the first person I am having sex with. I have had sex with lots of girls and I never care to think about it. I need to stop this."

He turned off the cigarette and went in to get himself fully armed and then he talked a little to his boys about what to do and also for them to get tapes and chains that will be used to tie up John's wife and daughter since they are the ones The boss wished to spare.

His face became cold again and everyone was ready to attack John's home, they entered the car and zoomed off at high speed.

Aubrey changed into different clothes and joined her parents to have dinner with them and they started talking much about her most about her birth.

"I remember when you were pregnant with Aubrey, you became a tigress in the house." John teases.

"Hey I was no Tigress okay, I just get angry easily and you know it was not my fault." Aubrey's mom defended herself and Aubrey could not stop laughing.

"So you mean to tell me if for instance I get married in the future and become pregnant, I am going to act like mom as well? A tigress?" Aubrey questioned.

"Aubrey I doubt that you will be a lioness 'cause you are more stubborn than your mother."

"Daddy, that's not fair." She carried a moody face.

"I was just joking, my love, don't take it to heart, okay? You will be gentle as a dove." John added.

"John, do you remember the first time Aubrey started walking?"

"Oh yes I do, we were both asleep that very day and we thought she was missing, you started crying like a baby."

"I didn't cry like a baby you did," she denied.

"I didn't, I knew my daughter was not missing even if I was a little worried."

Aubrey looked at her parents feeling so happy," I missed this with my family, I am so happy we got another opportunity to start this again with them, I can't wait for the Boss to forget about us for good." She added.

John and his wife kept teasing each other and Aubrey's mother walked to her child, caressing her hair, "I remember when you were still little, sleeping peacefully like an angel that you are, now my baby girl is all grown up."

"Yes mom, I am happy to have you both as my parents, I am feeling so dizzy now, good night mom, good night dad."

"Good night pumpkin, sleep well dear."

She kissed her father on his cheek and mom before going to bed.

She climbed the bed and held the little bear. "Little bear, I think soon I will be telling mom about the stranger and I hope before then, we will be dating, good night little bear."

She held it close and dozed off.

While she was still sleeping, it was getting close to midnight and she had a terrible nightmare of seeing blood everywhere, she woke up breathing heavily.

"OMG, it's just a dream and it looks so real." The next thing she heard was a loud gunshot which made her shiver covering herself up then terrible lighting took place and a heavy downpour began.

"Please let us go, do not harm any of us please." She heard her mom's voice trembling and her father begging as well.

She was forced to get the courage to step out of her room and when she did, she saw her father and mother on the ground.

"Mom, dad." She called.

"Aubrey get inside now," John yelled but it was too late, the hefty men dragged her to the middle as she cried holding her mom.

"Mom I am so scared, who are they? Don't tell me it's the boss?" She asked with her mom covering her and she nodded in response to her child.

Ace heard her voice and recognised it to be the girl he made love with earlier and he told himself not to get distracted by her.

"Please, spare my wife and daughter, they are all I have left, you can kill me." John pleaded.

"Please don't harm my dad, be merciful please," Aubrey begged, and when he turned around Aubrey recognized him and she couldn't say a word.

He didn't look in her direction, he pointed the gun at John and pulled the trigger at once, she screamed seeing her father murdered in the presence of the one man she truly admires.





"Why my father, why him? Why did you take the life of someone I care about?" She screamed while crying out her eyes.

The men got confused looking at her wondering if she knows their boss.

Trigger who didn't want any familiarity, turned around and said, "Give them five minutes to pay their last respect and after which, use the chain on the mother and the daughter."

"Yes, boss."

"I will be outside to smoke." Trigger said walking outside and trying to kill his conscience not to let Aubrey's words get to him.

"She is just a girl I had a nightstand with, it's just weird confidence that her father was the man I was sent to kill. No such feelings." He brought out his cigarette to smoke and he had a memory of the past when he lost his parents and his sister that was yet to be born.

Tears rolled down his eyes remembering how Aubrey screamed when he shot her father, the pains in her eyes made his heart bleed, no matter how hard he tries to avoid it, he could not stop himself from being more guilty.

He puffed more smoke into the air and let out fake laughter like he was not normal at all.


Aubrey's mother's heart almost left her looking at her lifeless husband, she held his body crying out seriously, "John, don't do this to me, you promise to make things right with us now we are here, please don't leave us alone."

"Daddy, wake up, daddy wake up and wipe these tears from my eyes, daddy do not keep mom and I quiet, say something." Aubrey begged in tears.

Mother and Child moaned the loss of John, Aubrey knowing the man she slept with is the one who took away her precious father, she felt guilty and pleaded with her father.


"Daddy I am sorry, for making such a mistake, forgive me, daddy, if I never knew him, he wouldn't have followed me here." She felt Ace slept with her and used her as a means to their home, she feels she is the actual reason her father is dead.

Ace allowed them to moan for a while and then he came back in, Aubrey's eyes were all red, and tears dropping, she rushed to Ace and started hitting him.

"You monster, why did you kill my father, you don't deserve to be called a human, you are worse than the devil itself, I promise I will be the one to harm you."

Ace didn't say a word and the men rushed about to hurt her and he gave them a sign not to come close and they obeyed.

"Aubrey put yourself together so I won't lose you as well." Her mother dragged her from Ace and she rested her head in her mom's arms crying bitterly.
