“Say something,is she dead?” She questioned.

“No she is not yet,Alpha Sylvester locked her up,she decided to take the place of Mariam.” Diesel helped Jett finish his sentence.

“Wow,my sister is all grown up,she now knows the meaning of being a loyal witch.”

“You mean you are not angry at all?” Jett questioned her.

“No,why will I be angry? That's her destiny,she is meant to protect the queen even if it will cost her her life.” She said with a beautiful smile but looking at her very well,one could tell she is sad,there is no sister that will be happy to know their blood is in danger.

“Okay,thank you once more.”

“We stay here tonight but we have to leave tomorrow, the wolf hunters are everywhere,just a matter of time and we will get discovered.” She said to them.

“Well,we have a safe house, tomorrow we go there and then we plot out what to do to win this war.” He added and she nodded.

"I will make dinner.” She took her leave.

“Axel could have died if she didn't come to save us.” Diesel said out loud.
“This war can only end if Mariam or Sylvester dies,but we cannot let Mariam die,she is the true Queen,we need more men.”

“We have some of our pack members now and also some nightwalkers as well,I know we are not up to a thousand soldiers but one thing is for sure,if we are determined to win,we will surely win.” Jett assured his brother


“Dave is calling.” Jett brought out his phone and placed it on speaker for Diesel to listen.

“Hey Dave,how is Mariam?”

“She is fine but sleeping now,what about you guys? I hope you are all fine?” He questioned.

“Yes we are and Axel got lucky,the wolf hunters are more dangerous than we think.”

“I guess we need to be more prepared,how is Axel?”

“Sleeping,we encountered Cindy's elder sister,she saved us all and she will be coming with us tomorrow.”

“That's great news,be safe and make sure no one follows you,the white house is the only safe place we have now.”

"Trust me Dave,no one will know of such a place okay,we see tomorrow and please always check on Mariam.”

“I will,good night.” He ended the call.

“I feel so exhausted.” Diesel laid on the ground.

“Me too,I texted our parents to remain abroad till this war is over,I can't afford to lose our parents.” Jett said to his brother.
“I hope we all will be alive to receive our parents once this war gets over and we will.”

"Don't be so negative Diesel,we are going to be fine at all costs okay? I will assist Cindy's sister in the kitchen to make dinner fast,check on the boys.”

Elena's mother named Flora met with her leader,“I bring good news for you Flora.” He said.

"What news?”

“Our suppliers just told me they found the wolf family that killed your husband.” He said and it got her attention fully.

“Sir,with all due respect,please don't make such an expensive joke,the werewolf that killed my husband and sister escaped years ago.” She said trying so hard not to cry because she lost the man she loved so much to an animal leaving her just alone to look after her daughter Elena.

“I won't call you to make such a joke Flora,I am far older than that you know,are you willing to know who or I should hold my peace?” He said leaving the ball in her court.

She thought about it and remembered the day her husband left home saying he is going to treat a sick animal he saw in the woods,he was repaid with death for saving the worthless life of the werewolf, revenge thought consumed her at once,now she got the opportunity to avenge her husband,she is going to do it without thinking twice about it at all.

“Tell me the details,I want to skin them alive and cut them bit by bit in front of my husband and sister grave.” She said with so much anger.

“You remember your daughter's best friend in school when she was 15?” He questioned and she nodded,“Yes,I guess her name was Mariam,she lived with her grandma but they later left town.” She replied and wondered what the connection with Mariam and the killer. She also know Mariam came to visit months ago.

“Do you know she is also a monster? The daughter of the very wolf that killed your husband and sister, remember the footage of the picture taken,it was traced down to the Moon Night Pack,that's her pack.”

“No way,you mean that an innocent looking girl is a monster? A killer?”

“Yes she is,we are lucky she didn't kill your daughter,to get your revenge and make her father feel pain,lure her out and kill her.” He added and said more words just to provoke her the more

Elena returned home from work and saw her mother's car,“Mother came home early today,I hope all is well?” She said walking inside and perceived a good aroma coming from the kitchen.

“Mom,you came home early and you are cooking as well,tell me what's the good news about?” Elena asked taking fruits from the fridge to eat.
“Must something happen before I return early or cook for you? You are my only daughter so I should make you special when I get the chance.” She said caressing her daughter's hair.

“Thank you mom,you are the best.” She hugged her mother.

“Go freshen up,I will dish our food at the dining room.” Flora added with a beautiful smile.

A few moments later when they finished eating she indirectly asked Mariam,“So how is Mariam,I haven't seen her since the day she came to pay you a visit months ago.”

“Oh she is busy that's why,do you miss her?” She questioned innocently not knowing what her mother had in mind.

“Yes I do,she makes you so happy that's why,are you guys still in touch?”

“Yes mom,we talk very well on Facebook these days.”

“Great, why don't you invite her over for dinner one of these days?”

“That's amazing but I doubt if she is going to come,we are quite far from her.”

“Bullshit,that's not a problem at all, Infact I got an invitation to visit Dranovile,let's use the opportunity to buy her dinner,what do you think?” Flora asked faking her smile and her daughter nodded saying,“Sounds perfect,I can't wait to see her again anyway,I will chat her up tonight about it.”

“That's my daughter,I need to make a phone call ,please excuse me.” she stood up and Elena nodded.

“I know Mariam will be so happy if I tell her I and my mother will be coming to Dranovile,this is so awesome,I will be able to meet her lover and she will show me around,oh no,I need to take an excuse from work as well,damn it.” She felt disappointed knowing so well her boss at work is hard headed but still there is nothing her Uncle mom can't do,so it won't be a problem to her anymore.


Flora stepped out to make the phone call to her leader,“Hello boss.”

“Flora how did it go?”

“We have a little problem you know.” She said looking around to see if anyone was listening to her conversation.

“What problem is there that I can't solve?” He seemed so proud of himself.

“The distance,I don't think Mariam will want to come but I lied to my daughter that I got an invitation to Dranovile,can you make it happen? I heard the place is rough this period.”

“You don't have to worry,my connection is highly rich and protective of her clients,I will get you a good place that will also be protected by our fellow colleagues, just get prepared.” He assured her and she thanked him one more time before ending the phone call.

“Finally, my late husband is going to get the justice he deserves.” She gave an evil smirk.

Rita received a phone call about the progress of using Elena,“Don't get my hopes up yet,when they succeed in capturing her then you can call me and relay the news to me okay?”

“Yes boss,but for the news to come to pass,they will need a good place to live in Dranovile.”

“I know what you mean,you have my permission,do whatever you want but make sure at the end of the day,Mariam is caught,I don't wish to hear any funny stories.” She ended the phone call and walked to Cindy,“Hello bitch,you refuse to make use of the locating spell for me but I got a new way of getting your best friend,does Elena ring a bell to you?” Cindy eyes got wide open.

"You do know the person,you see,I am winning already.” She slapped her cheek and laughed.
