It's been days, and they haven't been in sight of Mariam and Cindy got so worried, regretting ever listening to Tracy and the others to hurt her friend.
She felt so guilty and summoned up the courage to meet with them at the College building.
“Cindy, what brings you here? Don't tell me you miss us already?” Tracy asked.
“I am sure she did, let's accept her to our team and then make sure she dates Dave, which will make her popular in school.” Charlotte suggested.
“I am not here because I miss any of you.” She added in an angry tone.
“Oops, why do you look stressed out about what is happening?” Tracy inquired from her.
“You all three used me to hurt my best friend and for days I haven't seen her in school and her phone has been ringing with no response.”
“Hey Cindy, watch your tongue, you can't come in here and talk to us in that manner, okay, we are not mates.” Charlotte warned. Linda approached them and wondered what exactly was going on.
“Hey girls, what's up? What are you three talking about with me?”
“Perfect timing, Linda, she is here to accuse us that we brainwashed her to hurt that bitch.”
They all burst into laughter,“Hey sweetie, that's absurd, and you know that, you wanted to hurt her, and we only helped, how is it our fault?”
“You three are evil, I have never seen a werewolf this heartless, where is Mariam? What have you done to her? Let me see her.” She yelled at them and one of them slapped her, saying,“Learn to keep your voice low when talking to us and as for Mariam, I think she left for good.”
“You all are liars, Mariam I know will never give up so easily, despite anything happening, I know you three had a hand in her disappearance.” She grabbed Tracy by holding the collar of her uniform and got pushed by their wolf strength.
“Have you lost your mind, Cindy? You are trying to go against us? Do you have a death wish?” Tracy shouted at her and slapped her again.
“Because you are useful, I will let this slide.”
“Please, just tell me where my friend is, I beg of you, where is Mariam? Is she safe?”
“Like I said, she is out for good, so act like none of this happened okay, you can always make new friends.” They left her in the spot laughing and sneaked into one of the classes to make a phone call.
“Hello, tell me you got her?”
“Yes we did, we have tortured her like you said, and we are going to dump her once she is close to death.”
“Good, I will send you the remaining balance but remember the Golden brothers must not find out, okay?”
“No one will ever find out.”
“Good, delete my number from your phone immediately and all our conversations.” She said before ending the phone call.
“Girls.” Tracy called with excitement.
“Tell us the goodness.” Charlotte said.
“Come on, spill.”
“It's done.”
“Yes…” They hugged themselves, jumping and singing,
“Now the bitch is out of our lives for good, let us celebrate.”
Cindy overheard their conversation and opened the door, yelling with tears,“What did you do to Mariam? I will let everyone know what you did.”
“You dare threaten us?” Linda questioned.
“Go on, tell everyone, we go down, you go down with us because you are also an accomplice in this game. ” They mocked her, and she knew she was done for.
Cindy couldn't focus on waiting for the next class, she had messed up big time and the only way to make amends was to look for Mariam.
She left the school in a hurry, rushing to meet her big sister at the place she uses a card to check the future of some individuals that patronize her.
“Cindy, what brings you to my little store? Do you wish to check your future or know about how you will meet your lover?” Cindy's sister named Ginny questioned with a smile.
“Big sis, I am an evil witch, I broke the rules, punish me.” Cindy went on her knees, making her elder sister more confused.
“What do you mean by evil? Come on, I hope you are not trying to show off your acting skills? It won't work.”
“I made use of the evil spell, I harmed an innocent human by traumatizing her and making her feel she had gone nuts.”
“What?” Her sister hit the table with anger and the whole place became dark with her eyes turning white. Cindy expected this and remained on the floor hoping her sister would keep her anger aside and tell her what to do to find her best friend.
Cindy isn't good with tracking spells, but her sister is damn good when it comes to tracking someone and always ends up accurate.

Jett finally tried to text Mariam, but he was not getting any response from her and this made him worried, making him decide to call her.
He gave her hundreds of missed calls, but she never responded to any,“What the hell is wrong with Mariam? Is she trying to run away or what? How dare she ignore my chat and not return to any of my calls?” His eyes turned red, showing how upset he got.
He met with his brother complaining about the same thing and Axle also told him he is still yet to get a response from her, same with Diesel.
“You mean she hasn't replied to your calls either? What is she trying to do?” Jett questioned.
“I knew she was going to look for means to run away from us, once the field trip is over, we are going to punish her.” Diesel said with an angry tone.
“She has truly grown wings, is it because we left her alone in the house? I will make her life miserable.” Axel swore.
“Brothers calm down and think about it, there is no way she will try to run from us, she has nowhere to go, remember? I have a feeling something bad might have happened to her.” Jett said in a calm tone.
“Lover boy, I know your love for her has increased already, and something tells me you just missed fucking her.”
“Diesel, I will not let you talk to me in that manner, watch your tongue.”
“Here we go again, why must you two always end up having a misunderstanding, hum? We are all fucking the same bitch and no matter the feelings coming up, let's kill it.” Axel tried to calm them down.
“I guess this advice is for Jett,he hasn't learned from the past, she has her face for petite sake, her cute smile makes me so angry.”
“I am done having this conversation, brother, I will try to reach her.” Jett said, turning around.
“Think about it Jett,you know the kind of mother we have, keep her as our slave and let's find our mate quickly.”
“To hell with you, Diesel.” Jett said, walking out on them and attempting to reach Mariam on the phone and still no response.
“Mariam, are you okay? I will get mad if you do this deliberately,just know that.”
