Mariam POV

I waited for a few minutes and still nothing, how is it possible that the killer is two step ahead of us?
“I think we need to be very careful to avoid getting trap by the master mind planner of everything.” Clara suggested.

“You are right, but keeping calm is not enough, I need to find this killer if not more people are going to die and I can't stand it to bear another death of someone else, what if it happens to be someone I care about like Dave?”

“Let's look for them and at the same time protect ourselves from danger.” She concluded.

Well,I have no fear at all,I can always protect myself and my subject will never let harm come to me.

The triplet returned and Axel said to me, “We can't find any trace of anyone living here, it's as if no one ever lived here.”

“If you want us to keep searching, we will do it asap, what’s do you say my Queen?” Diesel questioned and I kept them quite thinking about the whole thing.

What must I do as a queen to make sure my subject doesn't live in fear any more?

“My queen, are you okay? Do you want us to get anything for you?” Jett asked with care and I got angry, why would he ask? I don't wish to listen to his voice anymore, he annoys me so much


“Go to hell you three, simple task you messed it up, is this how you are going to work for me? Just get lost.” I said getting into my car.

“Take me home at once.” I said to the driver and he nodded immediately, starting the car in a hurry and zooming off the place at once.

Finally,I can breath and think well, far away from the triplet, I just need to take a little rest and think about what next to do. A thought came about Cindy, my best friend, I can't believe she is still mad at me till date, she didn't even bother to call or return my calls since she left.

I tried her number again and the same thing happened,I will need the perfect time to visit Dranovile again,I am not done with my revenge yet, I need to find my grandma so she could tell me everything that happened to my mother, if I can solve everything, then I can be happily married with Dave.....

I went out with Dave as planned and made my orders but got no appetite to eat at all,I got lost in my thoughts thinking about the deaths trouble happening in my time

“Are you okay Mariam? Talk to me please, did something happen? I am all ears please.” Dave said caressing my hair.

“Dave, can you be sincere with me?” I will find out the truth through Dave.

“What exactly? Talk to me dear, did something terrible happened? I am all ears.” He said as usual with his cute smiles.

“Do you think I am not fit to be the queen? I need nothing but the truth from you so don't lie to me because you want to make me happy.”

He held my hands and kissed them, “You are perfect to be queen,I know so many things has happened along the line but one thing I know is them,you are great to be queen.”

“I knew you were going to lie to me,I knew you will do that, you don't want me to hear the truth and it's unfair.” I cried out and he caressed my hair with whisper,” I am not joking with you, everything I mentioned is nothing but the truth,I hope you can believe who you are and what you are destined to be.”

I took a deep breath when he said this and remembered all my suffering, maybe I was made for this exactly, “Thank you so much Dave, you are the best lover.” I kissed him and he smiled.

“I know I am the best,I will always stand by you okay? I love you from the very start even before you became my second chance mate.”

Immediately he mentioned second chance mate,I wondered what happened to his first mate, did he reject her just like the triplet rejected me in the past? Is that what happened truly? Will it be wrong of me if I ask him what happened to his mate?

No,I think it's wrong,I don't need to ask him,I he rejects her or not,I love Dave and as long as he loves me and we are destined for second chance,I don't think I should have a problem, it could be like his own mate rejected him.

“What are you thinking about?” He questioned me.

"I am just thinking about how handsome you are and how lucky I am to have someone like you in my life.” I replied with a lie though I didn't really think about it but truly I am happy to have him in my life.
“Do you remember your prom party?”

“Yes I did.” I remembered things of the past and discovered I got the chance to create some happy memories with Dave, despite the triplet made me miserable ,Dave made me very happy and showed me love but I never gave him that opportunity to defend me

“I remembered that was the first day I kissed you but you were not happy about it.” he said and I laughed saying,“I kind of like you then but so many things transpired that night.

Axel coming to me and asking why I kissed him, why will he do that? I would have said jealousy but there is no fucking way he will be jealous when he maltreat me like I am nothing.

We finished eating together and he took me to see the living water close bit looks a bit small but trust me when I say it's beautiful.

Writer's POV

Sylvester had to leave immediately to meet up with Rita when he got her message. He wondered what could be so urgent.

On his way out he met with his mother who stopped him, “Where are you going to?”

“Mom, good evening, I need to visit a friend.” He said and she smiled at him.

“Tell me,are you going to see a male or female?” Queen Rebecca asked him with a smile.

“Come on mother,I am no kid, why asking such a irrelevant question? I really don't like it mother.” He replied her not ready to move until he is done talking to his mother.

“I know you are no more a kid, at least I am happy you are done have feelings for your step sister, it’s a good thing,I just want to know who is the girl that is making my son happy.” She winked at her son.

“Mother, you got the situation all wrong okay,I am not meeting any lover,I am just going to see a friend for something really important.” he said with all seriousness but his mom won't believe him.

“I am not stopping you from going, at least tell me her name and the family she comes room,I am willing to do everything to make sure you are king so I need to know if she is worth the title Queen of all packs.”

“Mother, the one person I wish to spend the rest of my life with is no other than Mariam, I will be happy to get the crown and have her by my side.” Queen Rebecca got angry immediately and slapped him hard on the face.

“Are you not well at all? Thinking of having a romance with your step sister? What will people say?”

“Mom you slapped me? Just because I told you about my feelings for the girl I love so much right? I really don't know what to say but go on,I me mother, do anything you like to me,I will never hurt you but when it comes to the woman I love, I will do everything possible to have her by my side.” He rendered his lines and took his leave immediately.

Queen Rebecca was still in shocked and regretted slapping her son but all the same, why will her only son fall in love with his step sister? What exactly is playing in his head, she thought about everything then when Agatha informed her about the other Luna's usual meeting, she tried her very best to smile and attended to them.


While Sylvester who left with anger drove with speed and on his way, he thought about the few times he had a good memory with Mariam,then he never knew they are going to be blood related,he imprinted his entire love for her and nothing in this world can change his mind from being with her.

He arrived at the chicken restaurant and Rita served him chicken while they had their usual conversation.

“So tell me,what's so urgent that you asked me to come ?”

“It's about the diggings of your own people,they will keep on doing so till they catch the killer.” She said with major concern.

“Yes,you should know all these so why are you worried,I thought you got everything under control? Are you not having any good plans?” He questioned her and took a bite from the chicken showing expression of how delicious it is and took more.

She took the chicken from him angrily,“Hey,why will you do that? You can see I am enjoying my self here.” he said licking his entire fingers.

“I am not worried of losing,I called you here for something else and you have to listen to me.”
“Okay,I am all ears.”
“I will be using someone,my enemy to take the fall so they will stop searching,after that I will take of a plan b to get the crown for you.”

“And who is this person you are using? Because I know no one will want to accept death make our plans easy?” He questioned.

“Don't worry,it's very easy,do you trust me?” She asked looking at him deeply.
