The queen feeling so happy about the duel, she walked to the garden and Agatha came quickly with her cookies.

“My queen, the cookies you requested for, I will go get the juice now.” Agatha said dropping the cookies on the table.

“Thank you Agatha, get two cup of juice, this calls for a big celebration, I am happy I finally got a way to make things right again.” She smiled feeling so excited and Agatha was also happy to witness the queen mood.

Agatha returned quickly with two glasses of juice and the queen gave her the opportunity to sit with her.

“Don’t worry,you are not just a maid to me but you are my family and best friend that understand me so well, go on sit and drink with me.” Queen Rebecca said taking the second glass of juice and handed it over to her.

“Thank you so much my queen,I am happy to be of service to you and I swore to be always loyal to you and no one else.” Agatha made another vow and they enjoyed the juice and cookies together.

“You needed to see Mariam face earlier, she got shocked when I attacked her,it is clear that she hasn’t master her wolf yet.”

“If she hasn’t master it, then a weak wolf can easily attack her.” Agatha added and felt like she could take down Mariam for the queen.

“Not all weak wolf, just the warriors that did their trainings properly Agatha, if we were in a place alone together,I would have dug up her heart but I wasn’t giving that opportunity at all,I had to stop knowing the Alpha was around.”

“We will always get the opportunity my queen.”

“Thank you for encouraging me, she truly got some nerves to raise her flirty hands to hit my son, but I am happy it happened that way, seems the moon goddess is on my side.” She emptied the juice again.
“Agatha, I need you to summon the crew, we have an urgent meeting ,they need to know we can still make my son king during this duel, and also a perfect opportunity to end her for good.”

“Yes my queen but I am worried about your son, do you think he will accept to fight a duel with someone who he is obsessed with?” Agatha made a mistake asking such a question and this made Rebecca so angry that she broke the glass cup with her bare hands.

Agatha knew she just made a mistake by taking about the queen only son obsession so she went on her knees immediately, apologizing,” I am sorry my queen, punish me for I deserve it.”

“Agatha, this should be the last time you would talk about my son sinful feelings for Mariam, is that clear?” she yelled and Agatha nodded, thanking her for forgiving her.

“Deliver the message to the crew and give me feedback at once.”

“Yes my queen.“ Agatha left immediately leaving the queen behind, who settled to just eat the remaining cookies and planning the best way to kill Mariam for good.

“I know what Agatha said is the truth but I will not let my foolish son ruin such an important opportunity, he won’t be able to kill her during the duel and call it a mistake, what must I do?” she placed her house beneath her chin thinking about what next to do when Sylvester approached her.

“Mother, mother.” He called but she was lost in her evil thoughts. Sylvester had to tap her shoulders saying, “Mother,what are you thinking about?”
She finally recollected herself and smiled at her son, “My son, how long have you been standing here?”

“Not quite long, mother what are you trying to do? Tell me because I am so angry at you.” He yelled at his mother.

“Why are you shouting and what do you mean by your questions? Can you enlighten me the more? Make me understand what you mean.” She stood up.

“I was having a great time with Mariam but you ruined it,why? I know you hate her so much,I need to now,what are you planning to do?” He kept asking and Rebecca looked at her son and checked him very well to know if he is sick or something.

“What are you doing mom? Stop it please.” He removed her hands.

“I needed to check if you are okay Sylvester, if I came a little bit late, you would probably be dead and by the way, you a strong wolf ,why didn’t you defend yourself?”

“Because I don’t want to, If hitting me is the only way I can get her attention then I am ready to be hit, mother how else can I tell you that I love her so much.”

“You must be out of your senses, do you want me to go to your father and tell him the nonsenses you are spilling out?” Sylvester looked at his mother and knew she meant business, he took a deep breath to avoid talking to his mother rudely.

“Mother,I just want to be at ease with Mariam, I don’t want to fight her,I might end up killing her when I go nuts,you need to make father stop already and change his mind.” He requested for a favor but she turned around saying, “Your father is a keeper of his words, there is nothing we can do, if you are going to end up killing her in the duel then do so and take what is rightfully yours.”

Sylvester looked a bit surprised at his mother responses to him, “Mother, we don’t hurt the person we care for instead we protect them at all cost to avoid harm coming to their ways.”

“Think son, this is a perfect opportunity for you, make sure you don’t miss it,I won’t argue any further but one thing is for sure, you will not marry Mariam even if she is not step sister.” She walked away angrily.

Rita at her chicken restaurant was busy preparing chicken and singing at the same time.

She had no clue what was going on but planned on making her enemy take the fall once her late father funeral date is fixed.

Suddenly Sylvester came in and requested to have a word with her.

“You know you can’t just come in here unannounced, you have to either call me or text me that you are coming.” She said taking her seat and removing her white apron.

“I know I should have done one of those you mentioned but you won’t understand, you are the only friend I have, the more reason I came here unplanned for.” He replied and looks a bit frustrated.
“You look worried, tell me,what happened to you? Is it something that I can solve in minutes or days?”

“I wish you can but is not possible at all, one of the reasons I came here is just for you to advice me,I really don’t know what my mother was thinking about when she came up with such a ridiculous idea.”

Rita got so focused on him trying to get what is making him worried and still he didn’t say it,she got tired of listening to his complaints.

“Hey,go straight to the point, I don’t have all day here, what is it? What happened? Just tell me,if you can’t, I have to go back to my kitchen to finish what I was doing before you interrupted.” She stood up.

“My father announced a duel between me and my step sister Mariam.” He let it out and Rita looks please with the news.

“Are you serious or joking?”

“If I am joking, I would have sent you a prank test or a prank call but I came all the way here to tell you,what do you take me for?” He hits the table.
“Wow, that means we got the fastest means for you to get the crown without us struggling at all, this is good news and we should call for a celebration already, tell me what you want and I will make the order immediately.”

“You sound so excited, seems you don’t know the reason I am so worried, she is the one person I love, I can’t fight with her, what if I end up hurting or killing her?”

“You are crazy, you got the perfect opportunity to become the king and you can also make her yours when you wear the crown, isn’t that making killing two birds with a stone?” She said trying to convince him so well so he can make use of the opportunity.

“I understand what you mean, I just need to win and become king, I guess I just have to talk to her about quitting, I know she will accept and then I am crowned.” He jumped in excitement and she looks at him like someone who is out of his senses.

“What are you planning to do hum? Do you think you can just walk to Mariam and tell her to quit? I have talked with her before and she sounds like someone who is determined, someone like her will never give up, trust me.”

“Hum,so what do you suggest I do right now?”

“It’s simple, all you need to do is to train more and defeat her, prove yourself worthy and make her feel she is not worthy of her title.”

They started talking more about the plans, “First of all, between you and Mariam, who is more stronger?” Rita inquired trying to know where she needs to come in to help him.

“To be sincere, Mariam is no match for me,I can act dumb at times but I can take her down, I have been training since I was 6.” He said to her and she applauded.

“That’s good to know, that means she has no experience at all even if she has the primordial wolf we are trying to weaken, then we are good to go on one condition.” She stated and he wondered what condition, will she ask him for money or what?

“What condition is that? I hope you are not trying to ask for what you won’t tell me but want to make me to promise?”
She smiled saying, “Nope,you are going to fight me then I will know of you are good to go or if Mariam will kick your ass.”

“Then bring it on.”
