Mariam POV
"Mariam, we need to be careful of her; I could smell her fear and hatred towards you." Clara said to me as a warning, I guess maybe the person who looks like me might have wronged her; maybe that’s why she is angry, but for fear, I really do not have an answer for it.
"I am sorry, ma'am, for the mix-up; my name is not Nora but Mariam." I tried to explain to her, but instead I got shut down by the maid.
"Shut up, how dare you address the Luna of all Lunas as ma’am? Do you wish to die?" I got slapped by her, and I held the spot in shock, looking at them as they left.
I locked the door while sitting on the floor, and I allowed the tears to flow from my eyes. "I don’t belong here; for a second I thought I did."
"You need to stop crying, Mariam; the maid is crazy, and why don’t you tell the Alpha about what happened?" Clara asked, and I kicked against it, saying, "No, I cannot do that; she is the wife of the Alpha; I can’t be the reason for their conflict."
"So what are you going to do? Get bullied again? Come on, grow up."
"I am growing up, Clara; you are just a wolf, and I am a human, okay? We humans have a way we think. I can’t just overuse my privilege here because the Alpha brought him; this is the Queen for petite sake, Clara; if she hates me, so be it, but if she ends up liking me, then no problem at all." I told Clara to keep her mouth shut.
I unpacked my hair and remained on the spot, thinking about what to do when Alpha Aiden came into the room to meet me, and immediately I cheered up and maintained a smile.
"Mariam, I hope you are not bored in here. He asked, and I smiled, giving a positive response, "Not all; I love it here."
"That’s good to know; dinner will be ready soon, and I just want you to get prepared and always call me if you need anything." He said that, and I nodded.
"And the outfit looks great on you as well; I wish Nora was here to see it."
"I am sorry about the loss." I said that to him, and he thanked me for saying that to him before leaving. I took a deep breath and rested on the bed. I must try my possible best to make sure Luna likes me, so I will not end up on her bad side.
"Clara, what if we take a walk to feel our eyes?” "Something tells me there are a lot of things to see here that are beautiful." I said this to Clara, and she agreed with me. I stepped out of the room, and I must say, I really do not know where I am going right now. I stepped out, opened the door, and saw a beautiful garden. After touching the hibiscus that I got attracted to, the maid who gave me milk in the first place informed me to come with her because dinner was ready.
Walking with her, I could hear the Alpha and the Luna having an argument, and something tells me it might be about me. I wish I could leave to avoid giving them problems, but I can’t. I made a vow to Alpha Aiden since he saved me. I am good at enduring, and that’s what I am going to do till she finally accepts me into their home.

Writer POV
Rebecca left her room and headed to the Alpha room, where she was told he headed to see Mariam. She remained in the room, vibrating and her blood boiling. "I need to kick her out of this house at all costs. Now that she has the Alpha to herself, I need to stop. I am his wife, and I deserve to have more of his presence, not her. I guess I know why he brought her to her Queen Nora room; he thinks she is Nora. Interesting." She gave an evil smirk, and when Alpha Aiden came to his room with a free heart and having done nothing that was against their marriage, he held her from behind and tried to kiss her when she pushed him off.
“Rebecca, why are you pushing me?"
“You're really asking me that, right? You should know the reason I pushed you, and do not think I am sort of a pushover." She replied angrily.
"I don’t know what you are talking about, dear, but I want to hold and kiss my wife before we step out for dinner."
"You must think I am foolish, right? Why the late Queen room? Why? And why will you bring the girl to live there and with us? Why didn’t you take her to the next building where you bring all the victims?"
"Rebecca, you are getting worked up over nothing; I just felt she belonged there."
"You are insane, Aiden; she is not our blood, so tell me why you think she belongs here. You need to kick her out; I know what you are doing; you are having an affair with her, and don’t you have any shame at all? For a young girl like her, you are a failure, Alpha Aiden." She said it to his face, and he gripped immediately. "Watch your tongue, Rebecca; do not bring out the beast in me."
"Let me go this instant." He let her go because he felt wrong for trying to harm her, but what she said made him angry, and it was all sort of nonsense.
“Really, Aiden, you will hurt me because of her?"
"I am sorry, Rebecca; you got me angry. Can we stop fighting and let our home be peaceful?"
"There won’t be peace in this home until you send her out. If what I am saying is wrong about you liking her, why were you in her room again? To do what? I need answers."
"You know Rebecca, since you don’t want to be understood, it's fine. I am going to have dinner now, and you better join the table. If you make it uncomfortable for her, you will hate what I will do to you." He stood close to his door, and when he opened it about to leave, he said to her, "You know sometimes, I wish it was you who died after giving birth and not my lovely Nora, though she is dead, and you as the new Luna doesn’t make you anything special; you are just her substitute." He left, and Rebecca almost had a seizure with tears in her eyes.
