I waited for the Triplet to return so I can join father and find out what actually happened to the Alpha that got killed last night.

I lost my patience and approached them and I ended up slapping them hard on the face, immediately they pleaded,I wanted to let it go but Diesel got me angry and I had to punish him by letting the guards take him to lock him up and flog him with silver.

I can’t believe Diesel will stoop so low to claim something unbelievable, Sylvester might be angry with me but he can never hurt me.

I know he likes me from beginning and he is mostly upset I turned out to be his blood and the crown became mine. I know after a few months every thing will be in order.

We arrived at the location and I saw father,“Follow me ” I ordered them again.

“Yes our Queen.” They replied and I smiled briefly.

“Father,what really happened here? Is there someone having a grudge with him?” I questioned.

“No dear,to my best knowledge, Alpha Collins happens to be a nice and gentle man,he is on a good term with everyone,so this is shocking to me.”

I took a deep breath,“What do you think?” I questioned my wolf form

“I have a believe that there is something your father might not know about him,anyway this is our responsibility now,we find the killer.” Clara response made me feel more like a Queen of all alphas.

“And we let them face punishment so Alpha Collins can rest in peace.” I concluded with Clara and faced my father and held his hands,“Don’t worry father,we are going to find the killer.“

“I believe you my sunshine.”

“Is there anything seen close to his body or his room that we can use to track the killer? And what about his wife and children?” I questioned.

“His wife and children paid a visit to his sister and they are still crying,unable to come here.”

“I feel so sad for them,what a great loss. Let me check around Incase I find something useful.”

“Okay little one,when you find anything useful,let me know.”

“I will, father.” I smiled and walked around the place.

“Look for anything useful in catching the killer.” I ordered Axel and Jett.

They joined in the search of things and after a few more moments,Jett said to me,“Queen Mariam,the killer didn’t leave any traces behind,he or she came prepared but there is something strange in the tea he took.”

“Tell me,what did you find so strange?” I questioned him.

“This tea smell is different from the herbal tea he takes.”

“How do you know the kind of tea he takes?”

“It’s here.” He pointed and I got addicted to know more.

“So are you saying,he got drugged before he got killed?”

“Yes,if my guess was right,he probably sat down in his room after drinking his tea.” We entered the room together.

“He got so excited over something and rushed out from his room without wearing his slippers, which is strange and I ask myself,what could make someone so eager to run out from his room leaving his slippers.”

“And?”

“He probably received a phone call and he dashed out from the room then remained at the lobby where .” I missed my steps and ended up falling on Jett body because I got too focused in searching the rooms with my eyes while listening to him.

His hands were on my waist and our nose touched each other,not his hazel green eyes,I always find them attractive,my heart started aching so fast,he looks more handsome than before.

The memory of him kissing me slow and making love to me different from the other triplet that fucks me any how played in my head and I didn’t know what happened next,I was about kissing him when I regained myself.

I stood up and cleared my throat,“I am sorry.” He said but I diverted his sorry to the case.

“So he came to the lobby,let’s go there.”

“I see someone is catching feelings for her ex master.” Clara said just to make fun of me.

“Hey no,that can never happen you know,feelings for the man that raped me,never,it’s sinful to do that.”

“Really,then maybe I will say Mariam has a sinful desire to get touched by her first mate.”

“Oh shut up Clara,you are not thinking straight and stop,let me focus.” I added and she stopped for a moment.

We got to the lobby and he told me more about the whole thing.

I had to ask the Beta if any phone was retrieved in the lobby before I came,“Yes, his phone was there and he received a call before he died.”

Wow,I never knew Jett has other talents like this,he will be useful to me.

“Did you check the last call he received?”

“Yes,the call came from an unknown caller and it is difficult tracking the person but all I know,the killer will not go unpunished.”

“Yes,I won’t allow it as well,do your best and I also will do my part Uncle.” He stood in shock like I did something unimaginable.

“Why is your face like that?”

“Did you just call me uncle?” He questioned.

“Yes I did,you have been there for me like a family member,I already have a father so to me you are family and if you don’t mind,I would love to call you uncle.”

“Sure,I am happy,I wish your mother was here,it’s so funny you know,when your mom was alive,she will call me brother saying she has no relatives at all and she looks up to me like her big brother.”

He almost cried but I tapped his shoulder saying,“The blood flows after all,that makes you my uncle.”

“I am so sorry,I wasn’t there when you mother committed suicide but seeing you,I know someone else must have done it,I promise to avenge your mom’s death by finding the killer then I will be at peace.”

“Can I hug you uncle?” I asked and he nodded.

I hugged him before joining Axel and Jett.

“Let’s go.”

We left the place and headed back home and I sat at the dinning waiting for my food and I made the two brothers stand behind me.

I ate without given them a bite and when I got filled I said,“I need to take a little rest now, make sure you guard my door .”

“Yes our Queen.”

I know they are both hungry but I won’t give them food now,till later in the day,eating late will not kill them.

Writer’s POV

Sylvester received an address from Rita,“Meet me here tonight.”
Exactly 7pm,he left the house without his mom knowing and drove to the Chicken Store to meet with Rita.

“Hi there.” She said to him taking a bite from the chicken lap.

“A chicken store, really?”

“No one will ever think of this place,come join me,the chicken here taste great.” He had his seat and rejected the offer,“No thank you,I am okay.”

“Are you sure? Come take a bite and you won’t regret it,it’s so tasty that I might eat everything here.” She said in excitement.

“You called me out here just to have a taste of chicken? How rude of you.”

“Come on,I just lost my father you know, give me a break and join me in moaning.”

He looked at her wondering what kind of a girl she is, eating chicken as a way to moan her father,the man she killed,it’s so unbelievable to him.

“I know you think of me as a psychopath right? Come on,yes I killed him but not with my hands,it hurts you know,it hurts so much.”

“Rita,what games are you playing here? Tell me,what are you trying to do? Are you trying to make fun of me just because you know I want the crown? If this is a joke,you stop it immediately.” He yelled at her and notice eyes were on him.

“It’s okay guys,he will get use to us.” They continued with their stuff.
“Who are they? Are they with you?”

“Yes,you need to learn to be patient okay? This is my business in disguise,I own this place,so you see,I am not here to joke with you,I mean business afterall,it’s not for free,I will be gaining something big from you.”

“I will take a bite.” He said taking from the chicken drum stick.

“You like it?”

“Yes I do.” He replied.

“Good,now this is the plan,my father mourning date will be fixed so each pack will be paying a visit to the family,we are going to scare Mariam to death by injecting her with this.”

“What is this?”

“A new mixture invented by my boys,I call it wolf poison and guess the interesting part of it.”

He got so eager to know and she smiled at him,“No matter how powerful a wolf is,once injected with it,they won’t be able to shift, making them helpless just like my father.”

“Oh,no wonder he couldn’t put on a fight,I really don’t know what to say.”

“What do you think of the plan?”

“I love the threat note,let’s make it work but you said they don’t know you as family,how will you be there?”

“Sit back and watch on the moaning day,you just getting to meet a dangerous bitch.”
