Writer’s POV
Rebecca was still in her emotional state and thinking about what the Alpha said to her, and she told herself and her wolf form, "I am not a substitute; I deserve the title of being called the Luna of all Luna’s and also the Alpha queen; no matter what, your sweetheart is dead and there is nothing you will do to bring her back; if Mariam is a threat to me, I will bid her farewell; I have done it before and I will do it again." She stood and left the room for the dining room.
Alpha Aiden felt at ease when he saw Mariam smiling at him, and then he thought of Nora.

*FLASHBACK*
"Hey baby, be fast. Let’s eat dinner. You don’t want our meal to get cold, and moreover, I prepared your favourite." She let out a beautiful smile, which eased the trouble Alpha Aiden was going through at that moment.
He sat down smiling with her and kissed her, saying, "Thank you for bringing light to me. I am so happy to have you as my mate."
"I am happy as well; now it’s time to eat, not a time for romance." She replied.
"Nora, stop smiling; you got wounded because of me; how are you still able to put a smile on your face? I know you want to cry; you are in pain; look at the bruises; come on, I am your husband; stop smiling to make me happy." He said this with tears leaving his eyes.
"Oh, Aiden, do not be a cry baby; you are an Alpha. Okay, yes, I feel pains, but crying over the pains will look like the pain won, but when I smile, I have conquered the pains already.”
"Nora, how I wish I could be like you and smile despite tough situations."
"You just have to; we are breathing right, which means there is still hope to get a solution, so why worry too much when you smile and feel better?"
"I love you, woman, I..." He was about to say something else when she quickly placed the food in his mouth to silence him.
"You were saying?" She asked, laughing while he chewed the food fast. "You got me this time."
"Yes, my love, I am going to feed you till you are full. I still don’t know why people fear you out there when you are just my baby at home."
"Because you are my world, you know everything about me." She blushed as she went ahead to feed him, and they were happy eating together.

He walked close to Mariam and took his seat. "I am sorry I delayed you; let’s eat before our meal gets cold." He said it to her, and she let out a smile.
"Can you stop smiling at my husband?" Rebecca interrupted them before taking her seat, and Aiden got angry but controlled it.
"Good timing! Mariam met my wife Rebecca, the Luna of the pack. I want you to treat her with respect." He said that, and Mariam nodded.
"My love, this is Mariam..."
"I have met her already, so can we eat?" She interrupted again, and Aiden still had no choice but to control his temper.
"Thank you, maam, for having me in your home." Mariam said with a smile, but Rebecca rolled her eyes, not even saying anything. Her expressions showed that Mariam was not welcomed to the house, but despite that, Mariam still smiled.
"My son and daughter are not home, but you will meet them soon; also be nice to them."
"I will, sir; thank you so much." Mariam said, and they all started eating, and Rebecca got angry at the time Mariam started coughing but stopped when Aiden gave her water and calmed her down by rubbing her back.
"Are you okay?" "Drink more water."
"I will, thank you so much." Rebecca could not handle it anymore; she left the table angrily, and Aiden tried to make Mariam happy.
"She is not always like that; I guess she is having a bad day,she is always fun to be with, that I assure you." He said this to her, and she nodded her head.
They finished eating, and he asked her if she cared for a walk, and she agreed immediately, so when they finished eating at dinner, they left, taking a walk out of the estate.
"So tell me, how are you feeling now?" He asked her, and she replied in a calm tone, saying, "I am fine now, and it’s all thanks to you."
"You don’t need to thank me, little one."
"Can I ask a question?"
"Sure, you can ask me anything; as long as I get an answer, I will provide it." He added, and she felt at ease again.
"Can you tell me about your late wife? I am sorry I am asking about it; I am just curious; even Luna called me Queen Nora."
"I am sorry about the misunderstanding, little one. We should be looking at you the way you are, not as a person who existed before you and is no more."
"It’s no problem at all; I understand."
"And about Nora, I will tell you more about her some other time. I hope you understand." He said it in a calm tone, and Mariam understood immediately and apologised.
They took a long walk before he brought her back to the house to sleep since it was late.
Mariam finished her evening shower and climbed her bed immediately to go to sleep, but she ended up having weird dreams.
"You do not belong here, Mariam; you need to leave immediately, and I do not want you here." The voice spoke to her from the dark, but she had no idea who was talking to her.
"Who are you? And how do you know I do not belong here?" Mariam asked with fear in her voice.
"My identity is not your business; you need to leave here before you fulfil a part of the prophecy that will bring chaos."
"You are lying; now that I have found happiness, you do not want me to be part of it; you just want me to keep on enjoying suffering and bullying, right?"
Immediately she opened her eyes, she saw Queen Rebecca in her room, and she yelled out of fear.
