I didn't want Dave to stop, I couldn't also let him see through my weakness, so I had to stop crying and wipe off my tears saying,“Thank you, Dave.”
“You are always welcome, now if you don't mind, let's finish our meal.” He smiled and I nodded. He fed me until I was full, then I emptied the bottle of water.
“That's my girl, so tell me, what is eating you up? Are you ill?” He asked, looking directly into my eyes, I guess he just told me what I can use as an excuse.
“Yes, I haven't been feeling too well, and I easily lose the appetite for food.”
“I am so sorry to hear that, tell me, how are you feeling now? Would you want me to take you to the hospital?”
He asked and for the first time, I am seeing someone showing so much concern about my health, excluding grandma.
“No, I am getting better already, see, I finished the meal.” I faked my smile, giving a fake expression.
“I can see that, if you get better, will you resume immediately? I miss you for real, Cindy, miss you as well.”
“I miss you all, I will recover fast and be in school to be with you guys.”
“That's great, so tell me, where do you stay, I will drive you home and always check on you sporadically.”
“You will do that?”
“Yes, I will, what are friends for?”
Oh no, Dave must not know I am staying with the Golden Brothers, he must not know I am also a maid, what do I do? What kind of excuse can I come up with that he will believe? Perfect, I know what to do.
“My grandma will not permit it, she feels It's wrong to receive male visitors, I hope you understand.”
“Yes I do, I mean, in the family, we always have one strict member, I guess I will have to wait to see you anytime you come back to school.” He looked sad, but it's for the best to make sure he is safe from those demons.
“Don't worry, I am not rushing to leave, I will spend some time with you.” I said just to cheer him up, even though I know I will be paying dearly for it once I return home to the demons I have as masters.

“Yes I do.”
“Then let's take a drive around town, we didn't get to see countless good places the last time.” he said with a smile.
“Yes, you are right, let's finish what we started.” I replied.
“Thank you so much Mariam, in fact,I will promote you to being my closest friend on planet earth.”
“Is that possible, you are in college while I am still in high school, am I not too small to be your closet pal?”
“Age is just a number and besides being someone close friends doesn't need requirements like that.”
“Okay, I was just playing.”
“How can I forget you are the funny type.”? We started laughing.

I had so much fun with Dave today that I forgot time was not on my side. I am standing at the gate of the Golden Brother's, I am so scared to open the door, will they hit me? Push me or abuse me until I lose consciousness?
I can do this, is just a few beatings or the rape, I am getting strong as well, I won't die, even if I pass out, I will be awake again.
“Mariam, you better get your ass in here, I can smell you even from afar.” I heard Jett's voice, damn it, how did he know I was standing outside the building, I guess it's now or never?
I made my way into the building and saw Jett resting on the pillar, and he said to me,“Why did you hesitate to come in?”
“I…I…I…”
“Answer me Mariam.” he yelled, and I almost passed out, out of the shock that passed through my body.
“I was thinking of what to make for dinner.” I lied rushing.
He moved close to me and grabbed my waist, kissed my neck then he pulled my hair,“You liar.”
“Please, okay I will say the truth, I was terrified.” He let me go.
“Go make us dinner.”
“Yes master.”
I rushed inside, heading to the kitchen when Diesel said,“Mariam, I want you to do the laundry tonight.”
“Yes master.” I also replied.
I started preparing the food and also carrying out the laundry as well, then cleaning Axel's room at the same time.
Gosh this is too much for me. Then I took note we were out of some foodstuff and other things in the house, I had to pause my cooking and take money from Axel.
Jett had to take me to the grocery shop to get everything I needed, he was waiting outside, then I noticed one of the guys looking at me, maybe there was someone behind me.
I continued with the shopping, then the person approached me with a smile,“Hello beautiful.”
I didn't respond to him, I am quite sure I am not the one he is calling beautiful. Maybe there is someone else, or he just made a simple mistake, I am the fat cheek meaning I am so ugly.
“Are you going to snub me, beautiful?” He said again, then I knew he was talking to me.
“Are you referring to me?”
“Yes I am, there is no other person as beautiful as you in this shop and, moreover,is this your first time in the grocery shop?” He questioned with a calm smile.
“Yes.”
“Great, let me do the honor of giving you a helping hand to make it snappy.”
“You will do that for me” I questioned.
“I will do anything for the beautiful queen standing before me.”
I blushed so hard, he is flirting with me, a stranger I barely know is flirting with me, and he also thinks I am so beautiful as well. I feel happy hearing this tonight but how come the Triplet doesn't see me the same way?
Instead, they look at me as an enemy because I look like someone I have no idea about.
He joined me doing the shopping, and we got carried away talking about school,“Wow you must be lucky to at Dranovile High school,though I attend a different college but because of you, I can make a transfer to Dranovile College just to see your pretty face every day.” I could not control my smile anymore, he is fantastic with lines.
“Wow.”
“So tell me, do you have a boyfriend, if yes, I would love to say, I am jealous of him but if not, I would love to apply, will you accept me when I come with my forms to apply?”
“OMG, you are blessed with lines, but I need to get going now after payment, someone is waiting for me.”
I said going over to pay but never knew he waited for me to clear everything, and then he decided to help me to get my stuff.
He followed me to where Jett packed his car, but there was no sign of him,“Okay beautiful, I hope we see something again, I am always at the grocery.” He replied with a smile, and I waved at him.
Why am I feeling goosebumps, he is a smooth talker.
“How dare you flirt with someone?” Jett's voice was filled with rage. I didn't know where he came from, I was trying to say something, but the words were not coming out from my mouth. Am I doomed again?
