Chapter thirteen: Wildcard

Chapter thirteen: Wildcard

Adriano

Tucking her phone into my pocket, I began to walk towards the front door but I remembered that there were people at the entrance. Moving to plan B, I remembered that Nanny was able to get inside through the back door.

Turning to the corner and as expected, everything looks perfectly normal. There is no blood, no body and no sign that anything ever happened there. It is almost as if it didn't happen.

Making sure not to touch anything that would leave my print behind, I pulled down the sleeve of my jacket over my hand before twisting the door open. It was unlocked, granting me free access back into the hotel.

Stepping in, I made sure to keep my head bowe, avoiding any security cameras. It was pretty easy to find Nancy's room, considering I was already there today but it made me wonder which room our mystery girl was staying in.

I will go to the front desk later to get that information. It is just two in the morning so I am sure that everything will be settled down for the night by four in the morning. Finding myself in front of Nancy's room, I knocked and this time, there was a response before I opened the door.

"Hey, come in." She called me from her bed.

Her entire house is currently being renovated so she has been stuck here for the last few days. We offered to let her stay at our house but she refused. My brothers were both already back, sitting on one of the couches.

"You were quick," I said to them.

"Yes, it didn't take long at all. I mentioned who we were and they instantly knew what we were asking of them. They are going to call me in the morning to update us on everything and I am pretty sure they are questioning the girl right now."

"Speaking of which, Gregorio, have you tried to figure out who she is yet?"

"Working on that right now." He pulled out his iPad.

"Whoever she is, there is nothing on her that I could find from just a basic internet search. I am trying to pull up the hotel records now to see what name she is signed in under."

"Would something like a phone number be found in the said hotel records?" Nancy asked with a devilish smile on her face.

Thank goodness, she is definitely back to her normal, I already knew who she was thinking because it is the same thought that crossed all of our minds at least once tonight.

"You can't," I said to her, causing a slight pout to form on her face.

"I know but don't tell me I am the only one who has pictured how pretty she would look on her knees."

"Nancy?"

"Or the desperate whimper that would leave her mouth as she is on the edge, begging for her to cum."

I know she is trying to get a reaction out of me but the worst part is that it almost worked.

Seeing that I wasn't going to respond, she just sighed, clearly thinking about the image that she is now planted in all of our minds

Fúck, I haven't even touched her yet and the mere thought of her is enough to harden my dick.

"Camilla Ranger." Gregorio said and finally connected a name to the face.

"She is twenty-five years old and lives in this city. After doing a second internet search, I found out that she is also an event planner and a first class graduate of Ambrose Ali University. I will be able to found more later at the office."

We just sat there in silence for a moment, taking in this new information. Camilla? A pretty name for a pretty face. It makes sense.

With Nancy safe and the police dealt with, there wasn't much to do. She turned on some stupid show that she was obsessed with before we all settled down for the first time in an hour. We all were looking at the television but I know that Domenico, Gregorio and I all had our minds focused on a particular thing.

I don't know what the others were thinking about but I wanted to know how a petite thing like Camilla managed to escape someone as quick and well trained as Domenico. I also wanted to know what we were going to do about it, killing her was obviously no longer an option but not doing anything wasn't a possibility either. I had no clue what was going to come from this and I hated it. I always have a plan and everything is always in my control.

Camilla Ranger, however, was a wildcard.

After a few episodes, the three of us just about to leave. I came with my bike but the two of them came together.

"Hey, I think we are going to head out now." Domenico quietly said to Nancy who is still already half sleep on her bed

"Call us if you need anything even if it is just to talk about what happened."

"Hmm," she murmured, clearly tired from the long day.

We all shuffle to grab our belongings and then move towards the door to leave.

"Hey guys?" She called from the bed and we all turned back to her.

"Thank you."

"Anytime." Gregorio smiled, before he and Domenico moved out into the hallway and waited for me to join them and I did so, closing the door behind me.

"I am going to meet you back at the base in a few minutes. I just want to talk to the receptionist before I leave."

"Okay, but we all know that we need to talk about what happened tonight, right?" Domenico said.

"Yes, I know. We can talk when I get back."

"Good but let's head to our house instead, it is going to be abandoned soon if we stay out any longer." Gregorio joked and I chuckled at that.

He isn't wrong, the three of us bought a bachelor pad together when we got assigned five years ago yet somehow, we managed to spend the majority of our time at what we called the base. The place all of all our work goes through.

"Sure I will see you there."

"Okay, oh and the security cameras should be on loop for the next hour or so. You don't have to worry about your face being shown." Gregorio said before the three of us headed for the elevator.

I made my way to the front desk while my brothers already went out the main door. The lobby is now completely empty apart from the receptionist and I.

"Excuse me, Miss. I was hoping you would be able to tell me the room number of a girl who goes by the name Camilla Ranger."

I didn't miss the fear that passed through her eyes, she clearly knows who I am and who the girl is too.

"I…I am really sorry sir but we can't disclose that type of information." She shuttered with her words and her hands were fidgeting.

She probably thinks that I am here to kill Camilla for calling the police. In honesty, it is what I should be doing but yet the only reason why I am here is I want to see her face again.

Trusting that Gregorio turned off the security camera, I pulled out my gun for a second time tonight and placed it on the counter, the muzzle pointing at her.

"You seem like a smart enough girl to figure out that people don't say no to me. Now I am going to ask you one more time, give me Camilla Ranger's room number."

With shaky hands, she types something into her computer and hits enter on the keyboard.

"Room 206, second floor, sir." She refused to meet my eyes.

"The key?"

She hesitated for a moment before reaching behind the desk to grab a key and handing it over to me.

I had to see her just one more time, there was a high possibility that by the end of this week, she would know our names and hate us with every ounce of that perfect little body of hers.

Beside killing, we also use a series of different scare tactics to teach people a lesson. And unfortunately for Camilla Ranger, she was now in our sights and was without a doubt going to regret running once we were through with her.

Despite the inevitable, I am intrigued by her. Nancy was right, I want her to knee in front of me. I want to know what her skin feels like on mine and what she looks like while she comes apart under my touch. I bet she would submit to me so well but at the same time, I have a strong feeling that she wouldn't do it without a bit of a fight.

Before I know it, I find myself on the second floor and in front of her door. Swiping the key against the lock, I twist the handle and quietly step inside.

On the floor rested a suitcase that is spilling over with clothes. There are fast food containers scattered across the table and overall, this room is a disaster. It clearly indicates that she is either the most disorganized person I have ever met or she has been having a rough day.

My eyes scanned the messy room until they fell on the whole reason I am here. For the first time since I have seen her, she looked completely relaxed. It was only then that I realized that her phone was still with me. I pulled it out and turned it on, once again seeing the happy girl on the screen.

My initial plan was to get Gregorio to unlock it and find a way to use her personal information against her but as I stand here. I can't bring myself to do that, instead I find myself placing her phone on the bedside table, leaving it there next to her head.

I noticed that she didn't bother to change her clothes. She was laying on her side, one hand tucked under a pillow while the other rested comfortably in front of her face. She is so vulnerable in this state and doesn't even realize that.

On the outside, she looks peaceful but on the inside I can practically see that demon that invades her mind. I know because I also have them.

Leaning forward, I brushed my hand across her face and instantly my dick hardened. A strand of her hair fell in front of her eyes and I couldn't resist the urge as I tucked it behind her.
