Chapter twenty: They Are Brothers

Chapter twenty: They Are Brothers

Camilla

I woke up early this morning in preparation for the busy day. After leaving the cafe and meeting Daniel and his fiancee Maria, we tried to plan everything out. However, despite those efforts, it didn't change just how hectic everything already is.

In the time span of only a few hours, I have gotten plenty of ups of the bride's hair and makeup being applied and the groom is in his hotel room. The photographers I was working were able to capture the bridesmaids and groomsmen but three of the groomsmen are currently nowhere to be seen. Daniel was bothered by that though and he seemed to have expected it.

Within ten minutes, the venue became swarmed with the family and close friends of soon to be newlyweds. I watched as more and more people began to arrive and I recall the groom telling me earlier that it was only people that were invited. It was a little much on me to handle everything and the photographer with me is not helping matters.

The ceremony is supposed to start in about a half hour, so I walked around making sure that everything was in order.

"Hey guys, long time no see." I heard a voice not far from behind me.

Turning around, I was extremely startled to see Gregorio standing only a handful of feet away, accompanied by two other men.

What the hell is he doing here? Taking in the sight before me, I see that they all dressed in matching tailored suits, perfectly fit to their tall and muscular frames.

I thought Gregorio towered over me because he was the shortest of the three. Of course, he was still the same infuriating handsome person I saw only a few days ago except this time, he was dressed up. Next to him stood two others, just as impossibly attractive.

The tallest of the three has dark black hair that was styled perfectly, just like the trimmed beard on his face. From this angle, I could see the faint outline of his muscles through his clothes, along with a handful of tattoos that peak out from the cuffs of his suit and up the side of his neck. As he shifts, I catch sight of a long scar that trails down his forehead, cutting directly through his left eyebrow. I wondered how he got that?

Now, he turned more and I can see he had warm gray eyes but they didn't match his cold, scary presence. Gregorio's friends seem extremely disinterested in being here as a short redhead went around hugging each of them.

To his right was the third man whose curly black locks fell in an intricate spiral on top of his head. Like me, he also had blue eyes but what really caught my attention was how defined his jaw line was. I may be exaggerating here but it seriously looked sharp enough to cut. He was thinner than the others but he too seemed to have some sort of same genetic in his blood. There was something different about the way he held himself though, it seems like every movement he made was planned and as if he was analyzing everything and everyone around him.

I mentally cursed myself for the way my body practically vibrated with the need at the mere sight of them but I can't help it. Together, they looked like they could of the offspring of the Greek Gods, just with more tattoos.

I don't know how the redhead was so comfortable with them because I felt so unbelievably intimidated right now and they weren't even talking to me. None of them have noticed me yet and I hope you keep it that way for as long as I possibly can.

I had already embarrassed myself enough around Gregorio the other day, the last thing I need now is a repeat especially while I am trying to work. Not to mention where there are now three of them. If his friends were anything like Gregorio, I would have screwed up in an instant.

Before they had the chance to notice my presence, I turned and left to get ready for the actual ceremony itself. I couldn't avoid Gregorio forever but for now, I continue to make sure that everything around me is in order, more to distract myself at this point and not because I need to.

"Camilla is that you?" I heard a familiar male voice ask from behind.

Oh no! Sure enough when I turned around, there stood Gregorio along with his extremely good looking company. My heart instantly speeds up at the sight of them in this closer proximity and there is no mistaking the dominance that radiates off them.

"Hey, Gregorio. It is nice to see you again." I smiled in an attempt to cover up my nerves.

"It is nice to see you too, though I will admit, I didn't expect to see you here."

"Yes, this is the wedding I was talking about on that day." He smiled before one of his friends clears his throat.

"Sorry, these are my brothers Adriano and Domenico. We are the triplets of the Jaxson's family." He introduced, pointing as he said their names.

"Guys, this is Camilla Ranger. The girl I was telling you about from Susan's place."

What? They are brothers? He spoke about me to his brother? I thought he would have forgotten we were meeting all together and we would never speak again but apparently, the universe had other plans.

The scary one, Adriano reached out his hand for me to shake and I did so. Looking up at him, I can't help but eye the scar he bore on his face. It shouldn't but the sight of it caused me to squeeze my thighs together slightly. It made him look both equally dangerous and powerful at the same time. He doesn't seem to have the same intrigued reaction for me that I do for him because he quickly moves his hand away as if my touch had burned him. I narrowed my eyebrows slightly at his actions but I try not to think too much into it.

I shook Domenico's hand but he seems to have a different idea in mind. Instead, he grabs my hand and brings it up to his lips, pressing a kiss at the back of my hand. I was a little shocked by his gesture but even more at the tingle shooting up my arm from the contact.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Camilla." He rubbed the spot he kissed before lowering my hand.

"My pleasure too." I replied, trying to fight down the blush threatening to appear on my cheeks.

I know have met Gregorio before but can't help find Domenico's voice to a familiar as well.

"You guys wouldn't happen to be the remaining groomsmen, would you?"

"That is us." Domenico replied.

Of course they are, that means I am going to have the photographer take a lot of photos of them in the upcoming hours to make up for them not being here this morning.

It is not like they were rude or anything but I wanted to be around them as little as possible. I found them to be insanely overpowering and it only added to the nerves that I was continuously trying to contain.

"Well, I am sure I will see you three around later then but I should probably go and make sure that everything is set up."

"We will see you there shortly." Gregorio responded.

Giving them one last nervous smile, I turned and moved to where the ceremony was about to take place. I don't know but I felt like I was about to explode under their watch. Gregorio had the same effect on me as earlier and as if that weren't enough, there were two more of them.

But I don't think Adriano likes me though, he didn't say a word to me and I am pretty sure I was lucky that he even acknowledged I was there by shaking my hand.

Whatever, I don't want to think about them anymore. Right now, I just need to focus on doing my job. Although it is hard to do especially when I could suddenly feel those intense gazes on the back of my head so often.

The ceremony itself didn't take long at all and the photographer I was working with managed to get some really great shots of the bridal parties on each side. In my peripheral vision, I saw Gregorio, Adriano and Domenico watching me as I worked but I was able to ignore it for them.

Their attention on me was more stressful than they knew, yet at the same time, it only added to the rapidly increasing wetness forming in between my legs. I couldn't deny the effects they had on me but I could temporarily push it aside through the use of distraction.

Somehow, I managed to get through the cocktail hour, the entrance and the speeches without doing something totally embarrassing like falling on my face. Thankfully for me, the time for lunch is getting closer.

Since everything was in order, I took this opportunity to grab something to eat myself. The photographer and I set up our own table in a small room right off the reception area.

We got a separate meal as provided by the caterers. So all I had to do was get there now. While the ceremony was held outside, people were able to grab food in the same main building I was heading to.
