Chapter 106 The Terror of Jealousy

(Suzie's POV)
I survived inside such a dirty environment for a long time, too long, so I thought I might never be able to get rid of such a life until I met Jobe.
He was a very poised man and from the first moment I saw him, I felt there was no way I could leave him.
I just love him so much.
Then, I didn't know that Jobe was married.
When we both got drunk and had sex between us, Jobe told me he was married.
But, he loves me very much.
I don't even care if he is married or not, even if I am his lover, I am willing.
However, Jobe told me that he would like to marry me.
I would never expect a man to keep his promises.
Because my identity is just too special.
But, I'm willing to take Jobe's word for it.
I waited for Jobe for a month, but, Jobe still didn't divorce his wife. By that time, I was getting anxious.
I specifically ran to where his wife worked and I saw Jobe's wife - Ada.
The woman who exudes nobility all over her body seems to be surrounded by a very large number of people. Each of them seemed to be very fond of Ada.
After I saw Ada too, I could understand why Jobe wanted to get her.
Yet, I don't know why Jobe chose me.
In the evening's Jobe and I spent together, I would always ask him why.
What is it about me that compares to Ada?
Ada is just as very beautiful, she has a near-perfect body, a degree that people admire and appreciate, and she works as clean as she does.
However, Jobe told me he liked me.
I couldn't believe that such a good thing would fall into my lap.
However, Jobe always told me firmly that he didn't like his wife, he only liked me.
He only likes me.
I'm prettier than Ada, I care about him more than she does, and I know what Jobe needs, so Jobe and I are the perfect matches.
I don't know at what point I was convinced by Jobe.
I also became more and more convinced that I was better than Ada.
But Ada still found out about our relationship.
I didn't expect that a woman who looked so gentle would run right up to me.
But in me, when I saw Ada, I didn't have any fear.
Because I knew that even if that was the case, Jobe would still choose me.
"You can't do that!" Ada's face looked very bad, and that's exactly what I wanted to know to see.
I walked over to Ada and said, "I'm sorry, but Jobe has long since fallen out of love with you, and I'm afraid you don't know that the two of us have been living together for months now."
Ada's face became even harder and she looked like she wanted to just call, but, in the end, she didn't do it.
"This is not the right time, even if it is you that Jobe loves, you should not come between us."
"What you said sounded very ridiculous."
I saw Ada scowl at me.
"Ada, inside the game of love, only those who have got love can be the real winners, I think, you should understand this thing only."
"But a bottom line should exist in all things."
I looked at Ada, and finally, I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
The bottom line? Indeed, anyone should yo a bottom line, but if I hadn't been crossing my bottom line, I would have been a bum on the street by now.
Ada and I are not the same.
She has a happy family, she has a high degree, and can easily do any job.
But I'm different. If I don't cross my line, what's left for me will surely be destroyed.
But Ada didn't know this, she thought everyone was as lucky as she was, so she couldn't understand exactly why I was doing this.
"Ada, if one day you had to kill someone just to survive, what would you do?"
Ada didn't answer my question, and I already knew she would react this way.
"You know what? I do get very jealous of you, but I'm the one who got Jobe's love."
"I don't know what the hell you're thinking, but, Suzy, if you have to hurt people just to survive, then I would only think that it's your incompetence, that you caused this situation yourself, but you selfishly put everything on others." Ada looked at me, and her gaze seemed to have lost the anger inside it just now.
When she looked at me, I always felt that her gaze was full of sympathetic emotions inside.
But, I don't need that kind of stare!
"You don't understand anything at all!"
"You're the only one who doesn't understand anything."
I can never forget everything that happened that day.
Every word that Ada said to me felt like a poke in my heart.
And now I seem to see that woman in Lena's body.
When Lena first arrived here, I was worried that she would be the same person as that woman, but I soon found out that my thoughts were all wrong.
Lena and Ada have no resemblance at all except for their looks.
How strong Ada is, how weak Lena is.
I have nothing to fear from this man at all.
But now, everything seems to have become a little different again.
Lena looked at me with all the confidence inside those purple eyes like Ada's.
I couldn't even look Lena in the eye.
When I realized this, I felt irritated.
"Yes, Lena, you are too much like your mother, that annoying woman."
After I said that, I felt unrestrained.
However, Lena did not look embarrassed as I thought she would.
"Yes, I am like my mother, Susie, but I will not make the same mistakes my mother once made."
Lena's gaze became more and more determined.
When I heard this sentence, my face became a little ugly.
Ada's mistake?
Her only mistake was not choosing to leave earlier.
If she had left earlier, I wouldn't have had to waste so much time at all.
"This time, although I want to find my father, to find you as well, Susie, can we sit down and have a good talk?"
I looked at Lena.
I will not show any fear.
After Lena finished, I turned around and led her inside.
(Lina's POV)
I knew exactly what was on Susie's mind, and after I sat down, I said directly, "I want to ask you something, Susie, did you meet my father after my father and mother divorced?"
Susie looked at me, and her eyes were all icy cold inside.
After hearing my question, Suzy nodded: "Does this have anything to do with you? If you want to know the truth of this matter, you can ask your father."
"I will, but right now, I want you to answer me."
Susie looked at me, and she had chosen to be silent.
The moment she looked at me, I knew that the matter was not that simple.
"Lena, I met your father before your mother and your father divorced, and yes, I did interfere in your parents' marriage, but that was all because your father didn't like her at all."
I looked at Suzy's face, which was all smug expressions, and resisted the urge to punch her.
Sanity pulled me back: "And then what? Susie, I want to know exactly when you two got married."
"After your mother died, Lena, do you know how merciful your father was? Because he knew that your mother was pregnant, he wanted to wait until your mother gave birth to you before divorcing your mother, only to have your mother die early to give birth to you."
"No, Susie, if my father did it for my mother, then why did he go after her to sign the divorce papers after my mother returned to my grandparents?"
When I finished this sentence, Susie's face changed for a moment.
But that was only for a moment.
"I don't know."
"No, you know, Susie, by that time, you were already living with my father, and if I'm right, you would have abetted my father and made him hurt my mother, too, right?"
Susie laughed a little in a very harsh voice, and by this time, her gaze towards me had become somewhat stern.
"Lena, you know, you're just as annoying as your mother."
"If this is coming from your mouth, then it is a compliment."
I graciously smiled at Susie, and this seemed to make Susie even more furious.
"If you don't want to answer this question of mine, then there is one more thing I want to ask you."
"What?"
My heart suddenly became fast.
However, my voice remained very smooth.
"If you married my father after that, then surely you didn't give birth to Mary at that time, so why am I the sister and she the sister?"
The world went silent for a moment, Susie suddenly stood up from the couch, she ran towards me like a madman, then when I didn't react, reached out and grabbed my wrist.
Her strength is indeed very strong.
For a moment, I was not even able to break her free.
I snapped my head up to look at Suzy, her eyes were terrifying, but I didn't have any fear.
"Get out! Leave now! Don't ever come back!" Suzy started shouting.
But it also let me know that my suspicions were all true.
With a push, I shook off Suzy's hand.
"So, I've been lied to by you guys for over ten years, right? I'm the sister, I'm the one who should be acknowledged."
Suzy looked at me, "If you don't leave now, I'll make sure you don't have any chance to say anything about this."
I took the phone out of my pocket that I was talking on, "Try it."
