Chapter 84 Coming to Hawaii

(Lena's POV)
I stuffed all the things I had organized into my suitcase, but of course, I wasn't leaving the place.
Two days ago, I finally convinced Rafael to agree with me about taking Jamie along on the trip.
"It's just going out for two days, nothing will go wrong."
Rafael looked hesitant and I knew he didn't want me to go out on my own, but Rafael had other work to attend to and wasn't able to be away for too long.
Since that incident, I've simply quit my job, and I just can't afford to go back to the office right now. Of course, this is mainly because of William.
Rafael knew I was under a lot of influence, and although he didn't want me to go alone, he knew I needed to relax now.
"Rafael, I can take care of myself."
"I know, but, Lena, can't you wait a little longer?" I turned to look at Raphael.
Rafael was looking at me with a worried look on his face, and the displeasure on his face was all too obvious. However, I didn't feel angry because of his objection, I knew he was worried about me, which in turn made me feel better already.
I walked up to Raphael, then, I reached out my hand and gently cupped Raphael's cheek, I looked into Raphael's eyes and said with a serious face, "Raphael, I need this so much right now, I know you can understand me, don't worry, I'll be back soon."
"Will you do what you did before?"
I blinked at Rafael, and at this time, instead, I had an urge to joke.
So, I deliberately looked at Raphael as if I didn't understand: "What? What happened before?"
Sure enough, after I said those words, Rafael shut up.
Perhaps, he thought it was better not to bring up what once happened. But I've long since stopped caring.
"Rafael, is this how I left before?"
I know that both of us have no solution in our hearts, and if we keep dragging it out, it will become more and more serious in the end, which are the lessons I have concluded.
My gaze mellowed and Raphael had stepped aside and started to get angry alone.
I walked up to him and deliberately blocked his view.
Raphael did not get angry; instead, he looked at me, and he raised his eyebrows as if to ask my intentions.
However, from what I know about Rafael, if I don't say something nice now, he will do something excessive to me.
So I cleared my throat, "Rafael, I'm not leaving as I did before, please, I won't make the same mistake twice, trust me, okay?"
Raphael looked at me, his gaze was gentle, and when he looked at me, I even felt like I was completely immersed in his affection.
Raphael gently stroked my cheek, he moved closer and then dropped a kiss on my cheek. The kiss was so light that I could barely feel the kiss, but Raphael didn't stop there.
When I tried to dodge, Rafael reached out and wrapped his arms around my waist, and he didn't let me escape.
"What? Just now you said you wanted me to trust you, and now you're running away?"
I gave a somewhat embarrassed laugh, "Raphael, this is simply a nature, do not compare."
"Lena, kiss me."
I lifted my head and looked at Raphael. If it was before, I might not have felt shy, but, I don't know why, after spending so much time with Raphael, I was afraid to look Raphael straight in the eyes instead.
I blushed and tilted my head to the side, but Rafael wouldn't let me off the hook so easily.
"Lena, look at me." He held my head so I had to meet his eyes.
I could only barely keep my eyes open and try to look as unashamed as possible.
According to Rafael's knowledge of me, he could certainly recognize my disguise. Raphael laughed lowly, his voice was low and magnetic, and the laughter was almost close to my ears, my ears couldn't help but redden, and my heartfelt tingly.
I blinked, and Rafael finally stopped molesting me as he kissed my lips, so soft and gentle.
The kiss was so long that I was melting before Rafael let go of me, and only now did I realize that I had stood up a little.
I leaned against Rafael's chest and struggled to get up, but Rafael still had his arms tightly around my waist.
"Lena, be careful when you get out there."
"I see." I agreed softly, knowing that Rafael had agreed to my idea.
Jamie was also happy to know about it.
However, I think if Jamie had acted a little happier, Rafael wouldn't have agreed to me going.
So I quickly put a stop to Jamie's behavior.
It feels like this pair is not father and son, but the opposite.
Of course, it was clear that I had underestimated Raphael's capacity for forgiveness. That night, Raphael did a lot of things to me, and he tossed me around so much that I slept late even after I desperately begged for mercy.
Two days later, I took Jamie on the plane with me.
Although the distance is not very far, I plan to fly to save time on the road.
It was noon when we arrived in Hawaii. Jamie had had a long flight and was; so tired that he fell asleep. I carried Jamie to the hotel and simply tidied up a bit.
Jamie is still small, but also because he is a child, so he quickly recovered.
When Jamie woke up, he was going to go swimming with me for everything.
"Don't be in a hurry, Jamie, are you hungry?"
After my reminder, Jamie's stomach gave a very cooperative grunt. He scratched his head a little sheepishly, then nodded his head in agreement with what I said.
So, I took Jamie to a restaurant.
At this time of the day, the restaurant was very empty, and the waiter came over and asked what we needed.
I ordered the kids' package for Jamie, and then we started to enjoy this great time.
Afterward the beach and the sea, enjoying the perfect travel life, this is simply my dream time.
As I was enjoying my food, I suddenly heard an argument in the distance.
I turned my head to look at the voice, and not far away, it seemed that someone had gotten into an argument with the waiter.
"I've made my request very clear, okay? I don't want to keep repeating this thing." The woman's body was still draped in a bath towel, and she seemed to have just returned from the beach, but the waiter seemed to have mistaken the lady's request for an order.
The waiter stood to the side, the girl looked like she was about to burst into tears as she panicked and apologized to the woman.
"I'm sorry, miss, I can compensate you for a share of that, okay?"
The woman rolled her eyes as she held out her hand and glanced at the waiter, "Honey, I don't think you understand the gravity of the situation at all, I'm allergic to this stuff, and if I hadn't seen it, then I would probably have just died here today, so you think you can still take the blame for that yourself, don't you?"
Just when all my attention was focused over there, I suddenly felt someone tugging at my clothes.
I turned my head to look over and Jamie held up his cup and said to me, "Mom, orange juice."
I took Jamie's cup and said to him, "Okay, just a minute."
Then, I shouted, "Waiter!"
However, no one paid any attention to my shout, only the waitress looked up and gave me a very apologetic look.
I instantly understood that she was the only one working at this time.
I withdrew my gaze with some embarrassment, then I looked at Jamie and said in a very apologetic tone, "Jamie, can you wait for a little?"
"Good." Despite the lack of orange juice, Jamie happily ate his food.
Just when I hesitated to walk over, the sound of arguing over there was getting louder and louder.
"I don't care about your job, honey, you're going to lose yours right now if you don't get this thing straightened out today." The woman's voice was shrill, which made me turn around and look again.
The waiter seemed to have cried out, "Miss, I'll be back soon, and when you say you want me to do something, I'll do it, I promise."
"You can't leave until this is resolved." The woman still had the same attitude.
I don't know why, but I sympathize with the waitress, I always feel familiar with such scenes. That's not just because the waitress looked miserable, but also because I understood her very well.
However, I soon reacted because I did not understand her reasons.
It's not like I've ever done anything like that.
Maybe, I did.
I took a deep breath and then, I looked to Jamie: "Honey, are you craving juice right now?"
Jamie gave me a look, and Jamie was smart enough that he seemed to understand what I meant the moment he looked at me.
In order not to get the waiter in trouble, I finally decided to leave the juice alone for now.
So, once Jamie shook his head, I shouted again, "Thanks, we don't need it anymore!"
As I spoke, I looked over at them. The waitress heard what I said and she looked up at me with great gratitude.
I smiled softly and didn't say anything.
Of course, that's all I can do.
Although I wanted to help her, it had nothing to do with me, after all.
After lunch, I took Jamie back to the hotel.
We took a short break, then changed and headed to the beach.
The beach was nice and Jamie happily ran towards the ocean, but that scared the hell out of me.
"Jamie, wait!"
Jamie didn't listen to me at all, and I could only watch as Jamie crashed into a woman's body.
Maybe God plans that the woman is the same one I saw inside the restaurant.
