Chapter 42 Leaving

(William's POV)
Aisha came to say goodbye to me, and she looked so upset with me that she was on the verge of tears. I gave her a comforting smile and at her request, we hugged.
"My dear, although you have not been here very long, we did have a rather good time," Aisha spoke to me very sincerely.
"I love it here too, Elsa, but I have to get back to doing something I should be doing, and I'm sorry I have to say goodbye to you so early."
After hearing this, Elsa wiped her eyes very exaggeratedly, and then, she looked at me with those blue eyes, "Honey, you can come back anytime."
I smiled at her, "I will, Aisha."
I do have this idea of bringing Lena back. Even if I didn't bring Lena back to France, I wouldn't let her stay so close to Raphael.
The day I left France, the sun was shining very brightly and I was in a very relaxed mood. It was all coming to an end.
Upon returning home, Rachel reached out to me first.
"Rachel, let's meet directly, some things are not clear over the phone."
Rachel and I met at a private club, a property owned by the Brown family, and didn't have to worry about my whereabouts being revealed.
Rachel does not look very good, heavy makeup can not cover Rachel's face my dark circles under the eyes.
I wasn't concerned about her health, but it was clear that a lot should have happened to her in the meantime.
"You just got back?"
"You don't look so good in America, Rachel, after arriving yesterday."
Rachel heard this and gave a cold laugh, "Everyone's not too number good these days, except maybe you, of course."
I looked at Rachel and raised one eyebrow. I was a little upset by what she said, "It looks like you have a deep misunderstanding of me."
"Don't talk to me about these things, William, are you completely sure about coming back this time or not?"
"Sure."
Rachel's expression finally relaxed, "Tell me about it, your plan."
"In a few days, Lena will receive the email I sent, and by the time she sees it, she will probably understand what kind of person Rafael is, but I didn't expect the front to be stretched so far."
Rachel gave me a dismissive look, "I've been waiting almost six months, William, and to be honest, if you don't do something about it, I'm going to have to do it myself, and I don't have much time left."
I looked over at Rachel and showed some curiosity about what she said, "Why do you say that?"
I looked at Rachel picked up the coffee in front of her, took a sip before looking at me, and said, "To be honest, because Raphael was not able to marry me, my father has begun to be dissatisfied with me, plus the threat of several brothers in my family, I am in a somewhat difficult situation in Brown, and, Raphael also suddenly withdrew the number of several cooperative projects, which would have been my Responsible for, in short, a bunch of troubles needs me to deal with."
I looked over at Rachel, knowing exactly what she was worried about.
Rafael already knows many of Rachel's actions, whether it is to strike her or to strike Brown, he will not be threatened in any way, but Rachel is not the same. Many of Brown and Hill's cooperative projects are the source of Brown's energy, once the project is canceled, Brown will also face a lot of crisis.
Rafael can both kick this stumbling block away and take the opportunity to pull away from Rachel's relationship.
No wonder Rachel is so anxious about this matter.
"What about you, William, I hear Raphael has been dealing with a lot of people in the shadows, you should have quite a few losses too, right?"
I looked over at Rachel and smiled softly, "Indeed, Raphael cleared out almost everyone who would be useful to me."
"It's come to this, and you can still laugh?" Rachel's character is annoying, she is indeed excellent, but also equally conceited.
I've always been a bystander, and one of the first things my mother taught me was to keep a low profile. So neither Rachel nor Rafael probably know that I probably know them better than they know themselves.
I kept a low profile and lived like that for many years, but, after meeting Lena, my mind completely changed.
I want to get her, even from the hands of Raphael also does not matter, even if I have to pay a lot of prices, I am not afraid at all.
There is no way back for me now.
"You're right, Rachel, but I've gotten everything I want most, so I wouldn't hesitate even if I sacrificed all I had."
Rachel looked at me, and soon, she averted her eyes: "Crazy, people like you, that's all you can do for the rest of your life."
"That's a lot luckier than you guys, right?" I said to her in a joking tone.
Rachel seemed irritated by my words, she glared at me and her tone was a little strong: "Do you have anything else to say to me? If not, you can leave now and contact me when things have gone to the next step."
I nodded my head.
Indeed, there was nothing more I needed to say to her.
But, just as I was about to leave, I suddenly thought of something else. I turned back again, and when Rachel saw me, her eyebrows furrowed, "What else is going on?"
"You said to me last time that you had a way to get Lena to behave and go with me, what are you trying to do?"
Rachel's lips curled up and she got up from her seat and walked over to me, then she reached out and helped me close the door behind me.
My eyes narrowed, Rachel didn't give me a good feeling.
"Don't be nervous, William, you know, I'm very experienced in this kind of thing, and since it worked once in the beginning, now I have a way to succeed a second time."
"I don't care what you're going to do, no harm to Lena."
Rachel laughed out loud directly after hearing this, she looked at me and shook her head a little madly, "William, if one wants something, one must pay some price."
I did not speak.
Rachel shrugged her shoulders: "Don't worry, it's just a small price to pay, I won't let the woman you like die, I've got everything ready, of course, you'd better not get in my way, otherwise, I can't get her to voluntarily agree to leave with you."
I looked at Rachel and this woman was truly frightening when she was crazy.
But, I had no other choice.
"You better remember your words, Rachel, and not go too far."
She gave me a sweet smile, but I couldn't see any laughter in her eyes, "Don't worry."
Everything was going the way I wanted it to. Of course, at the first sign of Lena's car accident, I quickly rushed over. After making sure that Lena's life was not in danger, I gave Rachel a call.
"Are you out of your mind?" I questioned her in a lowered voice.
Rachel looked as if she did not know how dangerous her approach was, she gave a soft laugh: "William, she is not dead, why are you so nervous, wait until she wakes up, you will understand the reason I did it."
Lena was in a coma for two days. During this process, Lena's baby was born, a premature baby, but in good health. My mood did not become very good because of the appearance of this child, on the contrary, I hoped more than anything that this child could die. Because it was a premature baby, Lena never had a chance to see her baby. On the third day that I visited her, she finally came through.
No one can understand how I feel right now, and I thank God for his willingness to send Lena back to me.
I didn't expect Lena to accept me anytime soon, but when she woke up, I realized what Rachel meant.
Lena has amnesia, she doesn't remember anything, she doesn't know anything except her name.
I can't describe how I felt, it was like God was having mercy on me.
I hugged Lena with only one thought in mind.
This woman is now completely mine.
Within a few days, I discharged Lena from the hospital, she did not suspect anything, of course, she did not completely trust me, but I know that now in this situation, Lena has no other choice but to come with me.
We temporarily arrived at our new residence, which was just a small apartment, and Lena turned me down when I asked her if we wanted to live together.
I wasn't surprised.
"William, I'm sorry, I know you're my fiancé and I shouldn't have refused your request, but give me some time, okay?" Although she had been discharged from the hospital, Lena was still in a poor state. I knew she was drowning in the pain of memory loss and the loss of her child, and I was not like Raphael.
I smiled at Lena and then walked up and gently patted Lena's shoulder, "It's okay, honey, just do what you want, and when you feel up to it, we'll take the next step."
Lena breathed a sigh of relief and she looked at me gratefully with her very nice eyes.
I had a hard time resisting the urge to kiss her, which was a little difficult.
I am very content with what I have now, and I can feel Lena's trust, although she still seems very formal.
At first, Lena was not smiling, she was sitting in front of the window every day and staring, such a state made me worry. However, Lena continued to reassure me, saying she was just a little sad.
I looked at her like this and was in great pain inside. I decided that I would take her away immediately.
Two weeks after she lost her memory, while we were having breakfast together, I said to her, "Honey, I have an idea, would you like to hear it?"
Lena looked at me, "What is it?"
"Come with me to France, get out of here for good, and we'll get married there and ignore the past, okay?"
