Chapter 78 The Plan

(Lena's POV)
I almost did not hold back the red wine in my hand all splashed into Safina's face, seeing Safina's face, I felt very angry, but considering the current situation and occasion, I felt I should not be too impulsive.
So, I secretly gritted my teeth and pushed all my anger down, and didn't do anything.
However, I think the tone of my voice probably scared her too, because Sofina looked at me and didn't say anything.
This time Debbie came over again and she pulled Sofina out of the way, then stood in front of me and looked at me without any fear.
Debbie is a little taller than me, and I tilt my head more to see her.

"Who are you listening to?"

I certainly believe that Jerry did not betray me.

"Lena, I'm afraid your relationship with them is more than simply knowing each other, right? I heard that a long time ago, William once helped you."

"I promise."
I gave Jerry a look and finally made up my mind.
(William's POV)
"How are things all set up?"
"Don't worry, Mr. William, it's all ready to go."
I nodded in satisfaction and was just about to leave when I was called to stop.
"But, Mr. William, these arrangements don't seem to be in the planning, does Mr. Rafael know about this?"
I laughed softly, then walked over to him and patted him on the shoulder.
"It's okay, these are the projects I'm in charge of. Even if Rafael does not agree there are no other implications, you just have to do as you are told."
There seems to be some hesitation on the other side.
"It's nothing to worry about."
I think I've made the reminder clear enough.
I prepared all this carefully for this one party.
I've heard a lot about Lena.
I had thought that Raphael would at least step in to stop it, but to my surprise, he didn't have anyone to pay attention to these things at all.
Although I have secretly helped Lena solve many of her problems, my identity is still somewhat inconvenient.
I hope that this party will give me a satisfactory result.
The planning of the evening was all Rafael's people, except that it wasn't a difficult thing for me to add some tactics in between.

On the day of the party, I was not worth it, everything was already done.
I started looking for Lena from the scene of the party, but there were so many people here that I couldn't find Lena at all.
I gave up completely after a few attempts.

"Tonight, you better not move some little trick."
I let out a laugh and ignored Raphael's threat.

Is he deliberately emphasizing all this because he is worried about me?
"Don't worry, Raphael, Hill will be partly under my control in the future, and we both want it to get better and better."
After hearing my answer, Raphael said nothing and simply turned around and left.
But after Rafael left, my smile disappeared.
Just because I'm not going to do anything to Hill doesn't mean I'm going to give in to Rafael.
Because there is one more person that I have to get.
All the things I did today were for Lena.
Lena had a very bad time around Raphael, and everyone saw it, but instead of helping Lena, Raphael contributed to such a situation.
"I don't know what the hell you were thinking," I said to Lena.

I don't know why, but until now Lena didn't come to me.
Couldn't she see that Rafael wasn't sincere with him at all?

I turned around and went back to the meeting.
Everything went very smoothly and after Rafael finished his speech, I followed right after, and this time, I easily found Lena in the crowd.
She was wearing a burgundy dress with a very slender figure. She wore light makeup and became very attractive under the light.
I couldn't take my eyes off her face at all.
I coveted Lena's beauty, and I wished more than anything that I could have her love and her person.
Lena seemed to see me too, but soon, her eyes averted.
She didn't meet my eyes.
I took a deep breath and got off the field after finishing all the rest of my words.
By the time everything was done, I was happy that the music was finally playing.
The lights of the entire venue were dimmed.
I see my people reminding me that everything is ready to go.
So I felt my pockets and then slowly walked to the stage.
